"How far are we, Tia?" A certain someone asked while placing an attractive poster on the wall, a silly portrait of their previous student council presidents was preset on it.

The room that they were preparing this time was located on the southwestern end of the academy castle, right beside the Shrine of Origin.

Of the nine important Core Structures of the academy castle, the shrine was one of the most important places for the students learning Theological subjects as well as subjects related to holy and divine beings.

The divine beings that reside in the heavenly realm, the unique spirits that live beyond this world. Even the demons that possess tremendous authorities within the demonic realm were higher beings that the mortals could not fathom.

To go against these beings was a different thing, however to understand these beings, to worship them, and to draw power from the realm or connections established with them was something few gifted ones could do.

The academy selected these special people and trained them to use their special connections with those realms, use their connections to become stronger and get better.

The Shrine of Origin was the pillar of the academy that dealt with these special students regardless of what kind of higher beings they could connect with or who they wanted to praise.

They not only looked after them, they also looked after those trained to become priests and priestesses of certain divine orders— there were many gods and lords that people worshipped, and the academy was also one of the places that trained these students before they joined their divine orders.

Just like how the academy did not discriminate between its students, the students of the academy were free to practice their unique religions and worship whoever they wanted, in some special cases, worshipping of the Demon nobles was permitted under supervised care as well.

However… a special case like that had not appeared in a long time within the great academy.

"We are almost done with the decorations. Now all that's left is to get the gusts and prepare the food. Lucifer and the others are looking after the food, so we should go and check up at the back."

Currently, house captains were preparing a place right beside the Shrine, a place inside the academy castle that was connected to an orchid, a magical place that was rarely used for certain special classes.

The place was spacious enough to accommodate all the students as well as the guests that were coming for the little event.

The house captains as well as the new student council presidents had put in tremendous efforts into decorating this place.

The outside area was covered in special magical decorations enchanted by the best student enchanters. There were tables and chairs, and there was a stage for them as well.

The decorations included photos of their presidents' academic year as well as their last year as the presidents with them.

There was a wall full of thank you notes as well. They were written by the students so not all of them were positive. But the house captains still kept all of them there.

There were trophies and awards earned by their presidents during their student times as well as the trophies that they earned at the Alchemy competition in Lakmer.

They included a bunch of other stuff from their teachers as well so the whole place was looking amazing. There were also portraits and paintings of their student council presidents with their original classmates.

And that was the outside area… inside the spacious open room, they had decorations of thanks, a place for food, an area to have fun, drinks of all kinds, as well as an area where they were keeping gifts from the students.

It was going to be a grand sendoff, and all of the house captains were looking forward to it.

"Where's Uriel though? Wasn't she running that errand?" Tia was the one overlooking things at the venue while Eon, Quinny, as well as Liz were looking after the food.

Rein and Hide were running errands around the island, bringing in important things that they needed while captain Alpha and Zoe went to get the gusts at the port.

"She must be on her way. The last I heard, she was picking up the table sheets from Med's shop."

The person that Tia had been working so closely with all this time was Ezra, someone who was unexpectedly good at planning and arranging events.

"Great then. They should be here anytime now. Should we go and check on the others real quick? I think they were having trouble setting up the white screen." Tia wasn't the best when it came to event planning but she was the best at looking after the others.

She made sure everything was running well. She took in the plans that Eon made and implemented them perfectly.

He didn't have to concern himself with the on-site work. She was there to look after the people, while Ezra was there to make any additions or corrections in Eon's outlines.

The time they had to plan and execute this was planty. But to gather and bring in all the guests that were going to join them for the event was no easy task.

They all did it so covertly that not even some of the other house captains were unaware of how some of the things were unfolding.

Still, they knew very well how the entire thing was unfolding well.

"I took care of the screen earlier. We should go back and see how they're doing right now. Lucifer was saying the preparation for a few items was going to take the whole night."

"Yeah I heard that. They are working hard back there."

To keep everything happening here a secret, their headmaster did them a favor and cast a powerful illusion magic on the entire section of the school.

With everyone working covertly, the council presidents weren't going to find out what exactly was going on even if they managed to get the wind of a few things.

The surprise was only going to be impactful if it was delivered right. And the plan that they had for a perfect delivery was pretty solid already.

They had things under control right now… however, the same was not the case just until a few days ago.

"The whole place was a mess when we got here, unmaintained. The open area was a mess, there was nothing and we even had to rebuild that side of the wall.

To think we managed to do all this in such a short time… it kind of feels amazing."

Tia could not believe she pulled it off after whining about all the things she had to do for so long.

She did not like how she wast the one that had to look after so many people or how she was the one doing most of the things while the others just 'played' around.

She cursed the others many times, she even asked Eon to get someone else in her place, but Eon refused, saying she was doing well and that there would be no one as good for this work as her.

"It sure feels good."

Ezra wasn't sure about the amount of things he wanted done in such a short time. She offered her help, but even with her experience of managing and organizing countless events as the sole chair to the second greatest empire of the West, she did not think all the things would fall into place so well.

Tia was just the right person to handle all of the others working in various places since she was so cheerful and close with everyone.

Hide was just the right person to get the bigger job done with his smooth talking skills and his connections with 'ladies' all over the place.

Lucifer was somehow an information genius that knew more about the information agencies that the nobles in the group had access to.

Uriel was great at many things, a lot of things actually. She could fit into any work and place so she was helping around the entire venue.

Captain Alpha, Carla and Alf, Prince Alph and his vice house captain Bjorn were the actual workers.

The work that had been done was just on par with any mentally straining work anyone else had done.

It was a great underestimate to think Prince Alph was weak in any manner. Not only was he one of the smartest in the group, he was also pretty strong. It wasn't a fluke that a brute like Bjorn that put strength above everything else was following a scrawny prince like him.

"Alright alright. Let's not dwindle around like this. Let's go and finish the work for the day. Tomorrow is a big day."

"Right~!"

Their house rankings had changed a little after the guidance duel competition. The Wisdom Phoenix was still at the top, the Dark Society following right behind it.

However, the True Dragons were now in third place. The Fusion Stardust was right behind them, with Prince Alph being at the very end once again.

The changed house rankings were a little surprising for all of them, but seeing how the Wisdom Phoenix was leading so eminently, the other houses knew they needed to step up their game.

They will have their chances from now on, they know as much. So, at the very least for this little event, they weren't fighting amongst themselves.

Their presidents' sendoff was something important for them.

With how much effort they had put into this, all of them wanted it to be perfect.

Even their headmaster was looking forward to it… so, they shouldn't mess anything up at this point.
