Junior sister, keep forbear for a while, I almost become invincible as soon!
Chapter 453: Leave the Spaceship
CHAPTER 453: CHAPTER 453: LEAVE THE SPACESHIP
Once the Quasi-Emperor Weapon was awakened, it could momentarily breach the City of Extinction, allowing Yang Wuzong to safely enter and slay Chen Pingping.
For a moment, the atmosphere grew heavy. The experts and young disciples of Fairy Valley all held their breath. Although they still harbored resistance towards the Wuji Sect, compared to Star Sea, they were more inclined to side with them.
Ten miles away, the Sword Saint whispered, "You’re going to lose."
"That’s not necessarily true," Guang Xiaoyu smiled, thinking to herself, It’s just a damaged Quasi-Emperor Weapon.
The Great Elder, lurking in the shadows, also narrowed his eyes, preparing to make his move.
However, just as Yang Wuzong prepared to awaken his Quasi-Emperor Weapon, Chen Pingping directly brandished Sword Mountain. Everyone was stunned.
Sword Mountain spanned dozens of miles, majestic and imposing, its aura astonishing. Once fully awakened, it could truly destroy heaven and earth.
Guang Xiaoyu had long discerned the truth: this Sword Mountain was no mere Sacred Soldier, but a powerful Quasi-Emperor Weapon.
Yang Wuzong suddenly froze. Due to their agreement with the Elder of Fairy Valley, they were not supposed to act, much less brandish a Quasi-Emperor Weapon. Thus, he believed that if he awakened his Quasi-Emperor Weapon and breached the City of Extinction, he could slay Chen Pingping.
He never imagined this fellow also possessed a Quasi-Emperor Weapon.
Chen Pingping chuckled. "Perhaps my cultivation realm isn’t as high as yours, and the Divine Weapon I wield isn’t as mighty as yours, but I have Spirit Pills!"
He then produced a large handful of ninth-grade Spirit Pills.
"Furthermore, the entire Fairy Valley will obey my commands, including their Elder." He gazed at the Elder, a smile playing on his lips. "Isn’t that right?"
The Elder’s expression turned sour, reminiscent of constipation, as thoughts of Yu Changfeng surfaced. Yu Changfeng...
Chen Pingping added, "I also have a senior here whose cultivation is comparable to yours." He gestured towards Wang Xiaodao beneath the archway.
Wang Xiaodao coughed up blood. Only then did Yang Wuzong notice him. "Old friend," Yang Wuzong acknowledged.
"You two can reminisce later. Right now, let’s discuss our affairs," Chen Pingping declared with a brilliant smile, stepping out from the City of Extinction.
Yang Wuzong paused, his gaze suddenly profound. He’s come out! This is an excellent opportunity! Yet, he hesitated. He was unsure what exactly had transpired within Fairy Valley, why everyone suddenly had to obey this young man.
Is there some formidable power compelling them to submit to Chen Pingping? If hostilities erupt, will the upper echelons of Fairy Valley participate? Does the Elder still hold any sway over Fairy Valley? Can he still uphold our agreement? Uncertainty gnawed at him, so he dared not act.
Chen Pingping approached him, smiling. "I quite fancy that flying ship of yours."
"How audacious!" Yang Wuzong seethed, taking a few steps forward, on the verge of awakening his Quasi-Emperor Weapon...
But just then, Wang Xiaodao let out a soft sigh. Yang Wuzong’s attempt to awaken the weapon froze once more. His face turned exceedingly grim, his gaze inadvertently flicking towards the Elder.
The Elder, however, remained impassive. His silence made Yang Wuzong realize that the Elder had completely lost control over Fairy Valley; their agreement had become a farce.
Yang Wuzong’s face turned livid.
"Are you certain you won’t make a move?" Chen Pingping still smiled. "If not, then leave the flying ship."
Incredible! Star Sea had arrived with overwhelming might, and the Elder of Fairy Valley had deliberately thrown this problem at Chen Pingping. Everyone had assumed he was finished. After all, Yang Wuzong possessed a Quasi-Emperor Weapon and was himself a formidable Saint Realm expert.
Yet, no one had anticipated that Chen Pingping also possessed a Quasi-Emperor Weapon—a complete one, not a damaged fragment.
Even more astonishing, this fellow, wielding a Quasi-Emperor Weapon, began to negotiate terms with Yang Wuzong of Star Sea... No, "negotiate" didn’t quite capture it. Chen Pingping was outright demanding Star Sea’s flying ship, his audacity leaving everyone dumbfounded.
Behind him, the group of Fairy Valley experts and disciples grew inexplicably excited.
BANG!
Sword Mountain suddenly erupted with a deafening roar. Its massive Sword Body, spanning dozens of miles, began to tremble violently. A boundless Sword Intent surged forth like a tsunami, sweeping across the battlefield. The sheer power of that intent felt like Mount Tai pressing down on everyone’s heart.
This was a Quasi-Emperor Weapon. Complete and undamaged.
Chen Pingping’s eyes burned with fervor, his smile widening, a hint of mania creeping in. "Will you hand it over, or not?"
His demand was blunt: give it, or fight.
Yang Wuzong nearly vomited blood from rage, his entire body trembling uncontrollably. They were the experts of Star Sea! A supreme power in the lands of Southern Diaspora! Forget him, a Saint Realm expert; even a young disciple from Star Sea would be treated with utmost deference wherever they went, for fear of causing offense.
But Chen Pingping of the Wuji Sect was different. He was arrogant, overbearing, insolent, and aggressive, brazenly demanding Star Sea’s flying ship. That damn brat! Yang Wuzong fumed internally.
The Quasi-Emperor Weapon in Chen Pingping’s hand continued to awaken, as if, in the next instant, it would unleash a devastating strike upon the flying ship. The contingent from Star Sea was both aghast and enraged.
Yang Wuzong’s expression was as foul as if he were severely constipated; it couldn’t have been uglier.
After weighing his options, he made his choice. Give it! If he wants it, then let him have it!
This time, Star Sea would retreat in utter disgrace, having lost all face. Next time, I will return! I’ll kill Chen Pingping and annihilate both the Wuji Sect and Fairy Valley! he vowed.
Damn it all! Yang Wuzong gritted his teeth, leading the Star Sea contingent in a stumbling retreat, cursing inwardly, That imbecile Elder! He can’t even control Fairy Valley and has to obey a mere whelp! Utterly ridiculous! And what’s more... our supposed allies never showed.
「 」
The Sword Saint’s composure cracked. After cultivating for over a thousand years, he had never been so utterly speechless. Over ten Saint Realm experts from Fairy Valley had been helpless against a single Chen Pingping. That was one thing, but even the experts from Star Sea who had come intent on killing... they too had been routed, even leaving behind a priceless flying ship!
What made him want to cough up blood even more was that Chen Pingping had effectively shattered Fairy Valley, rather than Fairy Valley assimilating the Wuji Sect. In other words, from this day forward, Fairy Valley was no more.
"Senior, you’ve lost," Guang Xiaoyu chirped, resembling a little girl who had gotten the better end of a deal, her face alight with a smug grin.
"..."
The Sword Saint glanced at her and remained silent.
Guang Xiaoyu pressed on, "Fairy Valley lost, your only disciple lost, and that includes you."
This girl is practically begging for a beating! The Sword Saint’s expression darkened. "I will naturally honor my promise to you. There’s no need to rub it in."
The two walked off into the distance.
Zhu Menting, trailing behind them, felt as if he were suffocating. For a moment, he had the overwhelming urge to flee. Demon Seed or not, who cares? I can’t defeat the Sword Saint anyway.
Just then, Guang Xiaoyu turned back. "What are you dawdling for? Keep up! I have questions for you."
He followed, his face impassive, though inwardly he was screaming, I’m here to kill you! To kill you! Can’t you show me a little respect as your would-be assassin?
Have we actually bonded over conversation?
"Senior," Guang Xiaoyu asked, her curiosity piqued, "how were you so certain that Yu Changfeng was an impostor?"
"His appearance was too bizarre."
"And?"
"That’s all!" The Sword Saint was rendered speechless.
A single fake Yu Changfeng, and damn it all, he had managed to deceive him and lose Fairy Valley. Could anything in this world be more exasperating than this?
「 」
"Let’s leave. No more watching. We’re heading to Huangzhou," Alan stated.
"Yes, it’s best to keep our distance from him."
"Once we’ve achieved Tao Verification, we can come back and eliminate him," Alan declared, her face devoid of expression.
"No. First, we’ll pin him down in a latrine pit."
"A sound plan."
(No way! No way! Surely no one *actually* believes Pingping can be suppressed in a latrine, right?)
