Seungwoon tilted his head slightly at her question, and Sera shrugged.

“Then I’ll run to the restroom real quick. I doubt we’ll have time later.”

She grabbed her bag and walked out into the hallway. Once inside the restroom, she rinsed her mouth with water before pulling out her phone. Holding it between her shoulder and chin, she rummaged through her bag, searching for her lipstick as the call connected.

“Uncle? It’s Sera. I have a question.”

“You finished digging into Na Seungwoon, right? Oh, come on, don’t play dumb with me. I know my father. Do you really think he’d send me out into the world without doing at least that much? She teased, and the man on the other end sighed before responding.

— The chairman’s approval means there’s nothing particularly problematic. He’s remarkably clean—rarely so, in fact.

“No issues with women either?”

— He’s dated a few times but nothing serious.

“Really?”

She narrowed her eyes at her reflection in the mirror, pressing for more. There was a brief pause before the man hesitantly continued.

— There is one person. An old friend from high school. She was a scholarship student sponsored by the foundation run by Director Hong Mihyang.
