Lady Meilin is seduced by her green tea brother-in-law everyday
Chapter 190: A dramatic father and daughter.
CHAPTER 190: A DRAMATIC FATHER AND DAUGHTER.
The reunion was going well, with the exception of a few chaotic pet related incidents. It was all smiles and nostalgic reminiscing until Chi Lian pulled out a slipper and announced that it was time for the punishment.
Everyone else had a feeling that the punishment was coming so they gave Mei Mei sympathetic looks but made no move to intervene for her.
Only Muyang did. "Honey, our daughter has already paid for her crimes. Why don’t we forget about this?"
Chi Lian hissed at him. They had discussed this together but he was chickening out now just because he had been bribed with some bread. Her husband truly had no morals when it came to his favorite daughter. Possibly favorite human in the entire world.
"Mother." Mei Mei whined.
Chi Lian nodded firmly. "You have over thirty crimes to pay for. Those are fifteen slippers to the buttocks or the hands." She put the slipper in Muyang’s hand and smiled like a devil. "Honey, you will be the one to do it."
Since the father and daughter were always acting as if they loved each other the most in the entire world, she wanted to see how they would handle this. And, she was getting some payback against them.
"He would never." Grandpa Jun said in a sure voice.
"He used to cry when she cried. How can he be the one to cause her to cry?" Fifth uncle Jun whispered.
Everyone whispered the same thing. Muyang was a daughter slave and when it came to Mei Mei he was extra.
"If you don’t do it, I will." Mei Mei whispered to him.
Muyang took the slipper and he looked at everyone with a very serious expression in his face. "My wife is right. Since Mei Mei has accepted to be punished for her crimes then I will punish her. However, she is an adult and this punishment will be humiliating if everyone is to watch. I would like to request for privacy. You can all stand outside the door for a minute."
"He is right." Great great grandpa Jun said eagerly.
He was the firs to stand up and push everyone out. He even made sure to pull out Chi Lian by the hand, forcefully.
Now, left alone, Mei Mei looked at her father and she smiled. "Pa..." she whined coquettishly.
"Shush." Muyang told her. He locked the living room door using voice command and then he told Mei Mei, "I will pretend to beat you. Cry out loud as if you are pain."
Mei Mei smiled impishly. "Pa, I knew that you would not bear to hurt me."
She cooperated with him, crying dramatically as he beat the table. The sound of the beating broke grandma Jun’s heart. Not because she was feeling sorry for her granddaughter but because she knew Muyang was beating her antique rosewood table.
It hurt so much that she had to touch her chest because real tears were forming in her eyes.
When her husband saw them, he hugged her. "It will be okay dear, Muyang is not using so much strength. It is not as if he will break her like a table." He comforted her.
"Wuhuhu!!" Grandma Jun wailed some more and she embraced him, competing in who could cry the loudest between her and Mei Mei.
Chi Lian meanwhile rolled her eyes. Her mother-in-law was being ridiculous. Muyang was not truly beating Mei Mei. Why else had he sent them out? Father and daughter were playing the same games that they had always played when it was time for Mei Mei to be punished for doing something wrong.
She could vividly recall the time she confiscated Mei Mei’s snacks and banned her from eating snacks for a week. Muyang would rappel down from the air vent at 6:00 a.m daily and deliver them to her secretly.
After T4 had told her what they were up to, she had considered telling Muyang that he could just rappel down the snacks without having to do it in person. But even if she did, her husband would continue playing the role of their daughter’s personal ninja butler.
When Mei Mei had come home past her 8:00 p.m curfew four times in a row, she had pushed curfew to 7 p.m. On the day of Mei Mei’s sixteenth birthday party, Chi Lian had insisted that the rule stand. At exactly 6:59 p.m, Muyang had invited Junjie up and they turned into DJ’s, turning the compound into a dance hall.
Every single time she had punished Mei Mei to kneel on the carpet which was soft and fluffy, Muyang would give her knee pads or pillows to kneel on. And every ten minutes, he would check on her to make sure that she was hydrated, not hungry and not crying.
If she cried, they would sneak out for ice cream and then great grandpa Jun would take over from there by ordering for a movie night.
If her teacher disagreed with her reports, Muyang would call or go to the school in person to defend his daughter’s reasoning.
When she was sent out to the green house or the wild, to plant something or take care of the plants as a punishment, Muyang would join her and turn it into a father-daughter bonding experience. Then they would proceed to name all the trees, flowers and plants after themselves.
Many such incidents had happened over the years that Chi Lian had learned to just turn a blind eye to them. Father and daughter actually took great pleasure in finding ways to turn her punishments into fun games. She was the bad cop and he was the good one.
So, all that screaming and the sharp sound of a slipper was not fooling her.
"They know that there are cameras in there, right?" Jun Lie asked. He had his phone in hand and he was watching Mei Mei and Muyang dramatically pretend.
"They know, but I don’t think they know right now. Sometimes, those two share one brain cell." Chi Lian said.

At the offices of Blue Galactic, the inner circle of the boss and the members of the accounting department were having a terrible weekend. No matter how many bonuses and perks were given, working on a weekend was not fun.
Most the employees were thinking of the plans they had made with their family members and children. Manager Gao was thinking about the battle he had scheduled with little fatty.
If he did not show up, that kid would troll him for the rest of his life, calling him a coward or something else that meant the same thing.
"Boss, why are going through everything as if it is tax season?" he asked with a dramatic whine.
Jingzhe was standing by the window, examining a purchase document closely, regarding it as if it owed him money. "Because my wife is a dangerous woman."
He threw out an answer that sounded so random. The only response which was heard came from manager Gao.
"Seriously, he is calling her his wife again. Did we miss the wedding?"
"Good question." Someone muttered.
But there was no answer to that question. People git married in secret all the time, so who knew what their boss had been up to in his personal time.
