Landing on Her Heart: Mr. Warner, Let's Get Back Together!
Chapter 52: Frenzied Possession
CHAPTER 52: CHAPTER 52: FRENZIED POSSESSION
However, what Annelise Winter didn’t see was this.
After Juliana took her seat, Elias Warner’s expression turned even colder, with a faint hint of anger.
The sudden chill was entirely because Annelise Winter had switched seats without a word!
Juliana, sitting beside him, was completely unaware.
She was racking her brain trying to find topics to discuss with her captain.
But after just a few words, Elias Warner interrupted her coldly as he opened his book.
"Miss, please keep quiet. You’re disturbing my reading..."
The icy tone was so chillingly terrifying, it was as if pouring a bucket of cold water directly over Juliana’s head!
Juliana’s face turned red with embarrassment.
She was always the one being pursued, never having been rejected like this.
Is this man made of stone? She was being so forward, yet he still acted like this?
Countless men liked her, so why was she particularly interested in this hard stone?
Moreover, she had liked him intensely at first sight!
Otherwise, she wouldn’t have been so proactive!
Thinking of this, Juliana furrowed her brow.
The flight attendants were shocked and covered their mouths when they saw the woman beside Elias Warner.
"Oh my god, who did I see? Isn’t that the big star Juliana? I heard she has considerable resources and a strong background, being a young lady from Haboro. Why is she persistently entangled with our captain? Could it be she’s also taken a liking to him?"
Several flight attendants started chattering away.
"Our captain is super impressive, okay? Once he puts on his uniform, he’s just bursting with that restrained sexual tension, it’s unparalleled, who wouldn’t like it! Juliana liking him is nothing surprising."
"But I think, this big star might not succeed. Look, Elias Warner doesn’t seem interested in her at all; he’s clearly not taken with her!"
"Didn’t you hear? Our captain’s private life is very clean! And it’s said he already has a fiancée who is a perfect match for him; a man like him won’t change once he’s set his mind on someone. Not even Juliana stands a chance!"
Upon hearing this, everyone felt as if they had experienced heartbreak, becoming very disappointed.
"How could Captain Warner have a fiancée?! That’s so upsetting!"
A sharp-eyed flight attendant approached, joining the conversation with a mysterious inquiry.
"But did you see who that woman sitting next to the captain was?"
"Who else could it be? Probably one of those women eagerly throwing themselves at our captain. Since he already has a fiancée, he wouldn’t even spare them a glance."
"Not necessarily, right?"
The female attendant earnestly continued the topic.
"I saw very clearly just now, it was our Elias Warner who sat over there on his own! Think about it carefully, did any of you see that woman’s face? Could she be Captain Warner’s fiancée you mentioned?"
The women were thoroughly engrossed in their gossip, wildly immersed in it.
However, the thought of their handsome and impressive Captain Warner being taken already was incredibly disheartening!
"They look so well-suited! Didn’t you see? Even though that woman wore very simple clothes, her skin was porcelain white, with very nice-looking calves and a particularly attractive figure, all her features were right where they should be! I think her aura and silhouette might even be better than Juliana’s, but I couldn’t see what her face looked like!"
"She’s not at all Captain Warner’s fiancée, look carefully, that’s Annelise Winter from The Airline."
"Annelise Winter? Is she the one who was previously entangled with First Officer Perry, but got dumped? I heard after she separated from First Officer Perry, many pilots from our airline wanted to pursue her, but she’s too lofty for them. It’s said she wants to seduce Captain Warner! How did she even manage to get on the plane?!"
"Simply trying to entice Captain Warner! But from what I’ve seen, Captain Warner isn’t sitting there because of her at all. It was simply because that was the only available seat in front, and after sitting down he hasn’t even spoken to her, he might not even know who Annelise Winter is!"
"She really spent a lot! Flying from Kybourne to Breslin, the ticket isn’t cheap! Especially since she bought first class!"
"No matter how much she spends, Captain Warner wouldn’t want her! Captain Warner wouldn’t want someone who’s been with First Officer Perry! Besides, he already has a fiancée!"
Just then, Elias Warner lifted his head, glancing coldly over.
Because of Juliana, Elias Warner’s rest time ended early.
He closed his book, stood up, and walked out of the cabin, keeping a cold face the entire time, without looking back at Annelise Winter once.
The flight attendants scattered immediately when they saw the unpleasant-looking Elias Warner approaching, each going about their tasks.
After switching back the seats, Elias Warner hadn’t spoken much to Juliana.
Feeling heavily sidelined, Juliana was embarrassed and strongly demanded Annelise Winter switch back.
Returning to her seat, Annelise Winter felt an unspeakable mix of emotions.
They must have had quite the pleasant conversation, right?
Elias Warner probably likes those bright, enthusiastic, forward girls.
Previously, wasn’t she the one who persistently chased after him?
Thinking of this, Annelise Winter gave a pale smile.
Already worried about her daughter and feeling guilty to the point of tears, the sudden flood of past memories utterly overwhelmed her, deepening her depression.
Resting her head on the small tray table, she quickly and dreamily fell asleep.
Maybe it was because the air conditioning was too strong, but as Annelise Winter slept, she curled into a ball, her beautiful face lying sideways on her arm.
Her long black hair covered her long lashes, cloaking half her face, leaving only her rosy lips which lightly pursed in sleep.
When Elias Warner returned after finishing his flight, this was what he saw.
Her plump, moist lips were marked by bite marks, his deep and cold gaze dark as the deep sea.
Despite the dim cabin night light, it did not hinder him from seeing her lips’ rosy color.
The feel of those soft lips, the sensation of kissing them, was almost blurred!
Elias Warner sat coldly beside her, recalling how she had just given up her seat to another woman voluntarily.
Recalling all she had done for Chase Perry!
In the unseen corner, Elias Warner almost wanted to kiss her fiercely and without restraint!
Dive in!
Envelop her entire being with his presence!
In fact, he did just that.
With a strong arm on the window above, his tall stature enveloped her.
His rationality lost control!
With his other cold hand, he forcefully lifted her chin, roughly ravaging, crushing, and in the next second, pressed on her!
