Chapter b51 /b

Dressed in all ck, Willow held a ss of red wine as she watched everything go down.

Julian walked over to her, and she subtly raised her ss while lifting her chin. “Are you sure it’s okay to do that? It seems like you’re neglecting Ms. Simpson.”

Julian stared at her with a seductive look that only a mature man could pull off. A whileter, he grabbed the ss in her hand and kissed her on the lips. “Should bwe /bget going, Mrs. Ziegler?”

Before Willow could react, Julian had already grabbed her and dragged her out. It was a rather rude thing to do, but it was what he wanted. The chandelier shone down on themb, /bcasting a gorgeous silhouette.

They could hear Melody yelling from behind them, “Julian!”

bFor /bsome reason, Willow smiled. Annoyed by the teasing, Julian took it out on her by pushing her against the wall and kissing her.

The hotel corridor was a public space, and people could show up at any moment. Obviously, Willow was against it, so she tried to break free. However, Julian grabbed her neck and kissed her deeply as if he wanted to swallow her whole. Eventually, he managed to tame Willow, and she raised her head to reciprocate./1

In a hoarse voice, he asked, “Do you want to do it?”

Trembling, Willow replied, “No.”

All of a sudden, Julian chuckled. Given how handsome he was, hisugh was incredibly charming. Even though Willow didn’t love him anymore, she was still attracted to him. Honestly, she hadn’t lost out at all.

Julian caressed her face, feeling a sudden wave of internal peace. That was how Willow made him feel.

In a low voice, he said, “Just kidding. I have to go to Yarrowmere early tomorrow morning.”

Willow immediately caught on. “Is there progress on Project Aurelia?”

Julian stared at her, his dark eyes clear and bright. There was an obvious romantic undertone to his gaze, and Willow subtly turned her face to the side.

When they were back at Grandview Manor, Julian went to the study bfor /ba video conference while Willow helped him pack his luggage.

The three–day trip to Yarrowmere was mainly for business. Willow packed two suits, three shirts, and some essories for Julian. It was cold in Yarrowmere, so she specifically chose a thin and long down jacket. As she moved his luggage, Julian’s conference ended and he walked into the bedroom.

Seeing the open closet, he ran his slender fingers across a row of clothes and shed a light smile. “Buy me some new shirts when you have the time. It’s been half a year since you got me anything new.”

Absentmindedly, Willow let out a hum of acknowledgment.

Julian approached her and hugged her without saying a word. He just held her in his arms quietly, and after a while, he leaned over and whispered a few words to her. His voice was barely audible, but it was deafening to Willow.

“You’re the only woman I’ve ever been with. If you don’t want me to see her anymore, then I won’t. I’ll learn to be a good husband, Willow. Trust me.”

Those words haunted Willow all night, leaving her unable to sleep. Julian’s strong arms had her trapped in his embrace with her face buried in his neck.

When she woke up again, it was already the afternoon. The lounge attached to the bedroom was filled with expensive bboxes /bcontaining jewelry, clothes from brands that Willow liked to wear, and a few expensive trinkets. They were all typical things that women would like.

Thest box contained all the love letters Willow had written. It was ba /bgallery of her entire byouth/b. At that moment, Willow bfelt /bherself tearing up. Julian sure knew

how to please a woman.
