CHAPTER 233: CH229 FEARS OF MINOTAUR AND INFO DUMP

And this disbelief spread everywhere across the Minotaur forces. Many of them broke under the sight, unable to accept the reality before their eyes. It was too hard to believe, too bitter to swallow.

The situation was worse still within the command bridge of the Star Fortress. Many there remembered the speculation of Toro—his warnings, his fears. And now, with everything aligning to what he had said, dread clawed at them more viciously than it did at the others.

Cries and howls broke out among them, voices rising in chaotic waves: "Impossible! Impossible! This is impossible!"

BC-911 Storm Lancer(winged design)

Heavy Assault Battlecruiser | "Strike First, End Fast"

The BC-911 Storm Lancer, Generation 4, is one of the two primary battlecruisers of the Void Fleet, and falls under the heavy category. Even within its own class, it stands apart—vastly more equipped with weapons than its counterparts.

As an upgraded variant, it carried forward all the intentions behind the creation of the first generation: to serve as an aggressive forward assault ship, much like the Compeller class, differing mainly in bridge design.

This warship was built and refined to punch through the densest enemy frontlines, warships, and even battle planets reducing them to debris with its main weapon systems, after it 3 generation upgrades.

Alone, it could take on multiple fleets—where facing a hundred ships would be too little, and a thousand still not enough.

Unlike its predecessors, the fourth-generation Storm Lancer featured notable differences in design, as well as expanded dimensions... for it original length if 1950 , width of 600 and height of 600.

[Dimensions]

Length: 2240meters

Width: 710meters (at the widest point)

Height: 560 meters

Hull Design & Structure

The hull structure, for the most part, remained the same—only expanded and reinforced to eliminate any drawbacks, as ensured by the Imperial Research and Development Department. Its streamlined, spearheaded profile was retained, with reinforced internal trusses crafted from more advanced alloys.

The angled dorsal armor, too, was strengthened with layers of light-grade plating, designed to deflect and diffuse energy-based weapon fire in the event that shields went down.

The armor itself was upgraded to sixth-generation, far beyond that of the previous model.

It incorporated advanced arcane technologies that not only increased overall resilience with future scalability in mind, but also granted self-repair capabilities. By drawing upon ambient mana and a supply of compatible materials, the armor could mend itself when damaged.

The command center remained concealed deep within the hull, shielded by its own independent defensive system. However, it was now equipped with a far more advanced Generation 8, 360° Hyper-Augmented Reality Display.

This system projected a complete, real-time view of the ship’s surroundings, eliminating even the millisecond delays that plagued the earlier first-generation AR modules.

[Armament]

For its armament, the Storm Lancer’s systems have themselves undergone seven generations of upgrades.

8x Titan-Class Long-Range Railguns gen(6) : each with an 800mm caliber. Though they share the same name as their first-generation predecessors, their power has increased by nearly one thousand percent.’

This improvement is not only due to vastly greater energy output, but also the advancement in materials and technological complexity.

These railguns can now draw upon ambient mana to enhance every shot, amplifying their destructive potential to the next level—something that has become standard across modern weaponry.

8× Quad heavy Turbolaser Batteries (gen 6) Specialized for long to mid-range engagements, these weapons were mounted across both the dorsal and ventral sides of the hull, granting them wide coverage and precision targeting capabilities.

They excelled in engaging multiple targets simultaneously, with a rate of fire far superior to the Titan-class railguns. Their destructive output was more than enough to tear through virtually any defensive system with little effort.

Supporting them were

12× Dual heavy Turbolaser Batteries (Long to Medium Range) optimized for short to mid-range combat and defensive operations. Like the heavier batteries, they were mounted both dorsally and ventrally, ensuring overlapping fields of fire and comprehensive coverage in close-quarter engagements.

2x Nova-Class Superheavy Plasma Cannons

— 2× Nova-Class Superheavy Plasma Cannons Integrated into the ventral hull, these massive weapons deploy only during firing sequences. Capable of unleashing an immense volume of plasma energy, each shot destabilizes and instantly shatters most energy shields upon impact.

The intense energy discharge melts armor plating and severely damages internal systems through superheating, often rendering nearby structures inoperable. In tactical operations, they serve as devastating opening salvo weapons—designed to break enemy lines and give the ship a decisive edge at the start of combat.

[Secondary Weapons:]

The ship also carried 48× Dual Pulse Beam Turrets (Generation 6). Mounted across both the dorsal and ventral surfaces, they provided full 360° cover fire. Designed as medium-to-short range weapon systems, they specialized in intercepting and destroying missiles, fighters, and even mechs that dared to approach too close.

Complementing them were 32× Dual Turbo Laser Batteries (Generation 6). A lighter variant of the heavy turbo-laser class, these weapons were less powerful but still dealt more than enough damage to fulfill their role.

With a medium-to-short effective range they excelled at inflicting heavy damage on energy-based defenses, such as shields, as well as physical targets. Their greatest advantage was their rate of fire—four times faster than the heavy versions.

Additionally, the ship fielded 22× Gauss Cannons, each equipped with 600mm barrels. These weapons launched a wide variety of kinetic shells capable of inflicting massive destruction against any target—whether hardened material armor or high-grade energy shielding.

40 x Medium Torpedo Launchers — high-yield antimatter or shield-piercing payloads

[Point-Defense Systems:]

280x Autotargeting Laser Turrets mounted around the hull giving a wider range for targeting enemy fighters in short range.

Swarm Interception Micro-Missile Pods

[Hangar Capacity]

The hangar capacity was also expanded, now capable of carrying more than 26 light-class fighters along with 8 medium-class dropships.

This effectively doubled the operational strength of its fighter complement, a crucial advantage for conducting solo missions and independent operations where versatility and rapid deployment were vital.

Drone Bays: Internal storage for 180 combat and repair drones

[Power & Propulsion]

Core: MTX-Ω DUAL core reactor( Mana-Tech Exchange Core Omega)

The power generators remained largely the same in design, but they too received upgrades that significantly enhanced their efficiency and output.

The improvements allowed for easier energy generation and more effective use of ambient mana, ensuring stable performance even during peak demands. Overall, while the core system stayed familiar, it represented a true generational upgrade in capability.

[Propulsion]

MTX-Ω-prSys (Mana-Tech Exchange Omega – Propulsion Integration System)

As for the propulsion systems, they also retained their original design philosophy but with a marked increase in thrust and efficiency. Though much of their structure remained the same, the improvements made them far more reliable and powerful, perfectly complementing the ship’s upgraded combat systems.

twin mode:

1. Mana Propulsion Mode: "Aetherstream Array"

2. Tech Propulsion Mode: "Quantum Ion-Thruster Drive"

Both had integrated Hyperdrive and FTL module

[Defense & Shielding]

The triple-layered adaptive shielding modules also received their fair share of attention, undergoing an upgrade on an entirely different level compared to most other technologies.

Defense had always been one of the primary focuses of Kallus’s R&D division, even more so than weapons—since the fleet’s armaments were already immensely powerful. The result was the Triple-Layer Hyper-Class Adaptive Defensive System.

This advancement not only elevated the technology by several tiers but also granted the shields unprecedented resilience, allowing them to withstand the force of countless assaults without faltering in the slightest.

Cries and howls broke out among them, voices rising in chaotic waves: "Impossible! Impossible! This is impossible!" Others raved that it must be an illusion, or some trick, clinging desperately to denial.

But all in all, despair consumed them.

And Korvus was no exception. He too was shuddering in fear. His entire body trembled, his jaws clenched so tightly that his teeth cracked under the pressure. His frame swayed unsteadily as though struck by dizziness.

[An : I know this info-dump might feel frustrating, but it was necessary since this ship will play a major role in the upcoming 20 or so Chapters—more than anything else except the Obliterator and the Oblivion-class. To avoid repeating the same details in every Chapter, I decided to include everything directly in one section. I understand it might have been better to spread this out, but in this case, it felt necessary—and it won’t be happening again.

That said, please let me know if my writing feels dragged out or if I’m slowing the pace too much. If so, I’ll make sure to speed things up—or at least try my best. Thank you for your patience. One last thing: I’m planning a mass release by the end of next month. Thank you again for your attention and support.]
