CHAPTER 770: CHAPTER 772: CIA, ARRESTING PEOPLE

"Kidnapping?"

Luo An swallowed his food, took a sip of water, and asked:

"Kidnap whom?"

"A CIA agent."

Mr. Clement said seriously:

"The situation is unique and not convenient to elaborate over the phone. First, capture the person, then I’ll explain!"

"Yes, sir."

Luo An gave Winslow a look to go pay the bill, then asked:

"Sir, where is the target now?"

"I’ll send you the location shortly."

Mr. Clement stated:

"Also, the target might have accomplices nearby. Be very careful when making the capture."

"Yes, sir."

After a brief conversation, Luo An ended the call and, with Chenier and Winslow, quickly left the restaurant and got into the car. Shortly after, an agent arrived and handed Luo An an unopened document envelope.

Opening the envelope to ascertain the CIA agent’s current location, Winslow immediately started the car and sped off into the distance.

Staring at the envelope, the CIA agent named Matthew, Luo An narrowed his eyes thoughtfully for a few seconds, then took out his phone to call Mona to investigate the agent’s background.

"Sorry, I didn’t find much about this Matthew."

A few minutes later, Mona spoke in a rather serious tone:

"However, I found a photo from a charity gala. In the photo, Mr. Matthew and the deceased CEO and president of the Illinois Nuclear Energy Company, Leiden Perelman, seem to be having a good time."

Mona sent the photo to Chenier’s laptop. Luo An saw the two men laughing together in the image and quickly figured something out.

Closing the file, Luo An checked his handgun and spoke:

"Chenier, contact the local SWAT team, ask them to send personnel to the specified location and intercept."

"Understood."

Chenier pulled out her phone to make the call, and Luo An then spoke into his phone:

"Mona, remember to monitor remotely. If anything unusual occurs, inform me immediately."

"No problem!"

————

The car headed north, soon leaving New York City and entering Connecticut.

Waterbury City, an industrial city in Western Connecticut, about 30 kilometers northwest of New York, is one of the well-known federal industrial cities.

On a main traffic artery in the southern part of the city, a black Chevrolet was speeding.

Not far behind the Chevrolet, several police cars with flashing red and blue lights closely pursued it, creating a scene reminiscent of a GTA game.

Inside the Chevrolet, a Caucasian man gripped the steering wheel tightly, his brows furrowed, but he remained silent.

"Damn it."

At the passenger seat, a slightly overweight middle-aged Caucasian man wearing a suit with a large belly looked through the rearview mirror at the police cars following them, his expression ugly.

After muttering a few curses, Matthew looked at the white man driving and asked:

"Earl, how much farther?"

"We are about five minutes away from that private airport."

The man named Earl responded and added:

"That is, if everything goes smoothly."

"It will go smoothly, don’t jinx it!"

Matthew glared fiercely at Earl and coldly said while watching the police cars flashing in the rearview mirror:

"At the private airport, there’s already a plane prepared. We’ll take off immediately upon arrival!"

Earl, frowning slightly, overtook another civilian car and asked:

"Where are we headed after that?"

A barely perceptible chill flashed through Matthew’s eyes:

"You’ll know once the plane takes off."

Earl, hearing this, stopped asking more questions and continued driving silently. Matthew took out his phone, scrolled through some contacts, and began drafting messages.

Hiss—

Thud!

At that moment, the Chevrolet sedan suddenly turned left, and due to inertia, Matthew’s head slammed heavily against the car window, causing him to lose grip on his phone and it fell from his hand.

"Fu-k!"

Feeling the painful knock on his head, Matthew cursed aloud, quickly lifted his head to look forward, and asked:

"Earl, what’s going on?"

Earl’s expression was very grave:

"Someone is catching up!"

From behind and just less than two parking spaces away, a black SUV suddenly came into view for Matthew and Earl.

The driver of the SUV was naturally Luo An, with Chenier now in the co-driver’s seat, while Winslow moved to the back seats.

Vroom, Vroom, Vroom—

Feeling the SUV rapidly closing in, Earl inside the Chevrolet was shocked, but now was not the time for discussion, he pressed the accelerator to the floor, and the car roared, speeding forward again.

"Hold tight."

Inside the black SUV, the corners of Luo An’s mouth slightly lifted as he also floored the accelerator, and said to Chenier in the co-driver’s seat:

"I will switch to the left side of the target vehicle, get ready to attack."

"Understood."

Chenier, with a stern face, unlocked her handgun and got ready, upon seeing this, Luo An once again overtook a civilian car and moved to the left side of the Chevrolet.

The two cars soon moved parallel at high speed on the road, and Chenier together with Winslow without any hesitation, lifted their handguns ready to attack.

Before they could pull the triggers, a black object suddenly flew from the Chevrolet towards the SUV.

"!"

"Grenade!"

In the second they saw the grenade, Chenier’s pupils dilated, Winslow’s face drastically changed, instinctively reaching to swat it away.

Luo An reacted faster than Chenier and Winslow, he sharply turned the steering wheel to the left while also speeding up the SUV, causing the grenade to hit the car door and fall to the ground.

Boom—

The next second, an orange flame exploded behind the SUV, shattering the rear window into pieces.

"Shit!"

Winslow swore aloud, Chenier’s face turned ugly with fear as the Chevrolet took this opportunity to sharply turn right and increase the distance, driving into another road.

Seeing this, Chenier furrowed her brows and turned to Luo An:

"Luo An?"

"It’s okay, no rush."

Luo An’s eyes narrowed slightly, quickly going over the map of this area in his head, then once more turned the steering wheel, driving the SUV towards another street on the right.

Bang!

Crash—

One minute later, at a private airport in the southern part of Waterbury City, a barrier on the edge was directly destroyed by a car, the Chevrolet racing along the runway heading toward a small plane in the distance.

"Beautifully done!"

Inside the Chevrolet, Matthew excitedly watched the small plane get closer, his hands trembling with excitement.

However, Earl driving the car didn’t show any smile, he glanced at the rearview mirror only to see the SUV like a ghost chasing up again.

"That persistent bastard."

Seeing the SUV in the rearview mirror, a flash of anger crossed Matthew’s eyes, he called the pilot to start the plane for takeoff, and at the same time, bent down to retrieve five grenades from under the seat, throwing them one by one towards the back.

Winslow and Chenier’s faces changed drastically on seeing this, both shouted loudly:

"Luo An! Be careful!"

"Hold tight."

Boom! Boom!

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The five grenades exploded consecutively, flames and smoke filled the air, Matthew looked at the scene in the rear-view mirror, his mouth crazily curving upwards, and even Earl driving slightly relaxed.

The next second, as the smoke swirled forward, an SUV with all windows shattered, dents in the doors and front, quickly surged forward from the flames, continuing the chase after the Chevrolet!

Matthew’s face filled with shock upon seeing this, Earl’s eyes were also full of amazement, meanwhile, in the SUV, Luo An calmly took out his phone, and said:

"The target has entered the encirclement, begin the operation!"
