CHAPTER 13: RICH IN QI SOUP

Instead of spending a week cultivating a spirit rank cultivation technique and reaching the peak of the Qi Condensation Stage, Liu Wei spent his week cultivating plants.

Cai Hui smiled even more.

She was wearing a robe to hide herself and even wore simple clothes. But there was a badge on her chest, revealing a bronze color and four flames inside.

Liu Wei caught the badge and had an idea about it.

He smiled.

He initiated the conversation.

"Congratulations, you are now finally an official alchemist."

Cai Hui smiled and began to cry.

Liu Wei felt awkward.

He said, "I didn’t mean to make you cry."

Cai Hui shook her head and said, "I’m crying because I’m happy."

Liu Wei smiled.

He gestured to Cai Hui to sit at the opposite seat.

As soon as Cai Hui began to walk towards him, he said, "I’ll prepare another bowl and spoon. I did not expect that you’ll accompany me to my breakfast. What a nice morning, isn’t it?"

Cai Hui giggled as Liu Wei left the table to get the utensils.

Inwardly, Cai Hui was screaming inside.

Big Brother just said it, right?! He said that he is glad that I’ll accompany him to breakfast! Big Brother is so kind!!!

She pressed her cheeks with her hands, trembling in excitement.

When she heard Liu Wei’s footsteps echoing closer, she took a deep breath and composed herself.

She smiled as soon as she saw him leaving from the corner of the library shelf, carrying a wooden bowl and spoon for her.

Liu Wei sat on the opposite seat and pushed the bowl and spoon for her.

Then he opened the hot pot, releasing a faint Qi, shocking Cai Hui.

She stared at the soup inside the hot pot, suffusing smoke that not only contained heavenly scent but mixed with pure faint Qi.

She mumbled in disbelief.

"B-Big Brother... This is..."

Liu Wei glanced at her and was surprised.

He looked at the soup inside the pot and finally realized what made Cai Hui utterly shocked.

He ruminated.

I can’t reveal the secrets of this library, right? Well, I guess I’ll just let them be in their imagination.

He smiled at Cai Hui and said, "It’s a soup I made out of the freshly harvested vegetables and mushrooms I cultivated."

Cai Hui was shaken.

Big Brother Liu Wei cultivated vegetables? He does not seem like a person who goes outside of the library and touches some grass.

She scrutinized the library and inevitably landed on the bizarre door behind the library desk.

She wiped the saliva in her mouth with her robe as she bowed to Liu Wei.

"B-Big Brother. I apologize for my unsightly behavior."

Liu Wei chuckled and said, "No need to hold back. I know you are hungry."

Cai Hui pouted in frustration.

But I ate a lot earlier before coming here, though...

Was what she wanted to say.

In the end, she focused on the bowl in front of her and did not hold back herself from grabbing the spoon.

As soon as she scooped the soup and brought it before her, she gulped before opening her mouth.

When the spoon entered her lips, she slightly tilted it so the soup would enter her mouth.
