"If that’s the case then I feel sorry for him, but Alex needs to get strong as quickly as possible and the only way that could happen is by putting himself in danger, that’s how his father became the person he was."

"General, it was because we exposed the teacher to so much danger that we ended up losing him. Are we going to make exactly the same mistake?"

"Felix, I understand what you mean, but Alex is the only sane person we have, and time is against us. We can’t wait any longer, I can’t wait."

Felix looked at the general, gave a sarcastic smile and said.

"Auntie, you are no different from daddy at the end of the day."

"Don’t compare me to your father"

Felix changed shape, from a child to an adult and walked to where the beauty was.

"You expect so much from his majesty, you want him to carry a burden that no one else can bear, and what are you doing for him?"

Felix sighed deeply, looked away and said.

"His mother is in a coma, his sister has been kidnapped, I believe that one word from you, and everything would be resolved, am I wrong?"

"You know I can’t interfere in his life, his father made me promise that"

"Parents always think they know what’s best for their children."

These last words from Felix weren’t just for Alex’s sake, it was as if he was saying it to someone else who wasn’t in this building.

"You are too young to understand what adults think, you should be grateful that you are just a child" The general said before leaving the room.

"Vampires, or should I say, Blood Elves? Mhph , don’t know human emotions."

Felix was forced to return to his work quickly, although he had a great team working with him, there were things that only he could do, and most importantly, he enjoyed what he did.

"Who is Alex? You seem to care a lot about him, don’t you?"

The thief approached Alex and asked softly.

"I have to care, if I don’t do it myself, who will?" Alex’s fingers were typing furiously on a virtual keyboard as he blurted out these words.

"You seem to have changed a bit," the thief said in a low voice, but Alex could hear.

"I changed? What the hell are you talking about? Did you even know me before? And what’s this story about you calling me the rookie? I’m your senior agent, do you understand?"

The thief fumbled a bit to get his words straight.

"Sorry, senior agent, well, I haven’t actually met you before, but you’re very famous at the training center, but you’re a little different from what I heard at the academy."

"Well, I already don’t like you because of your class, you thief, don’t make my prejudice about you right," Felix said looking at the screen in front of him.

"Thank you sir?"

Felix stopped for a second, looked at the thief and said.

"Thank you? For what?" He looked puzzled.

The thief said without even thinking.

"It’s hard to find sincere people these days, you were sincere with me and the general, I really appreciate that"

Felix laughed and looked at the thief.

"You thieves are incapable of being truthful even to yourselves, that’s why I don’t like your class, and regarding your words I will take them as a compliment, since I have beliefs that you were not truthful."

The thief looked a little sad, but Felix didn’t care and continued doing his job.

"Senior Felix"

"What now, aren’t you tired of bothering me yet?"

Paying no attention to Flex ’s grumbling , the thief asked anyway.

"Why does the senior address the hunters by their class instead of their names? It was a very hot topic at the academy, but no one else knew how to answer it."

Alex glanced at the thief and asked coldly.

"If I answer that, will you leave me alone?" The Thief nodded in response.

"Based on my knowledge, no one chooses to be born, much less chooses their name, both birth and nomenclature. These are things that are imposed on us, and the kind of thing you can’t change."

Before Felix could continue his words, the thief concluded by saying.

"A class is something that reflects ourselves and is tied to the destiny that the hunters decided to trace"

Felix nodded slightly.

"You’re not right, but you’re not wrong either, it’s something like, now that I’ve answered your question, it’s better to keep quiet and wait for the saint."

Unfortunately for Felix, the thief spoke again.

"Senior, haven’t you mentioned who this Alex is yet? And I have a name, you know? Senior wants to know."

Felix snapped his fingers and two spheres floated covering his ears, he could still hear the sound of the environment, but only what he wanted to hear, what he didn’t want to hear, as well as the thief’s voice were completely blocked.

She was scared, she was very scared, this was the second day and no one had come to rescue her.

Her father disappeared in a dungeon, many claimed he was dead and it would be good for her to accept the cruel truth and move on once and for all, that man was dead, no one would survive a dungeon for so long.

Somehow she remained steadfast in her convictions, one day her father would come home and hug her and just like before, they would watch a family movie and eat ice cream, vanilla which was her favorite flavor.

Locked in a dark place that she couldn’t identify, the smell of something rotten suffocated her nose, preventing her from breathing properly, even in the face of such distress, she still harbored hope that her father would come to save her.

Lucia occasionally weighed on her brother, he was practically the last family she had left, she wondered if her brother had eaten properly, now that she thought about it, there was no food in the house.

She wanted her father to get out of the dungeon and come rescue her as soon as possible before her brother starved to death, and then she wondered if Monica was taking care of her mother.

But then she started crying a lot and the random thoughts were being replaced by panic as time passed.

Lucia kicked several times on the surface she could feel next to her feet, luckily she managed to get rid of the gag that was in her mouth, then she screamed, screamed with all her strength.

However, no matter how much he screamed, no one saw, she screamed so much that her strength began to disappear.

Lucia didn’t eat or drink water, only 29 hours had passed, but she already looked malnourished, she had cried a lot during the night.
