Limitless Fortune: I Collect SSS-Rank Skills as Payment
Chapter 81: Who Is This Zeyvyr?
CHAPTER 81: WHO IS THIS ZEYVYR?
’Does that mean they don’t have any Origin Energy in their bodies? Maybe... they’re something artificially created by the dungeon, using some form of power. Or maybe, the World of Origin?’
Lucien couldn’t think of any other reason.
’Forget it, it isn’t that important now.’
He didn’t want to waste time and immediately ordered the system,
’System, leave Hidden Debt Marker on all these debtors.’
He pointed out all the debtors in the Partial Collection list and then a few important ones in the Full Collection list.
---
[Hidden Debt Marker:
→ Use this feature to secretly mark your debtors, tracking their location and growth within the system.
→ Max Limit: 50 marks.]
---
This was another feature he had received earlier. With it, he could track people’s locations as well as monitor their growth.
The reason Lucien did this was simple: he was cautious.
Honestly, knowing that he could become significantly stronger just by giving an order for the debt collection, and still maintain full control over himself, was a great display of self-control on Lucien’s part.
[Debt Marker has been applied to 10 individuals of your choosing. You can now track their locations and monitor their basic realm growth, as long as their debt to you remains unpaid.]
[No. of Marked Debtors: 10 (40 remaining)]
[Marked Debtors]:
Viscount Aldren Lionheart: Weaver Realm (Early Stage), C-Class Beast Tamer
Duke Viremond: Weaver Realm (Peak), C-Class Berserker
...
...
Zeyvyr: Weaver Realm (Peak), S-Class Archmage
Hugo Lionheart: Apprentice Realm (Peak), E-Class Warrior
Third Princess Lilith Edoria: Apprentice Realm (Peak), B-Class Illusionist
Eldest Princess Sera Edoria: Arcanist Realm (Early), B-Class Pyromancer
...
’This is awesome!’
Lucien looked at the list and their position on the map that suddenly appeared in his mind, feeling good.
With this, he could keep an eye on these people all the time while also tracking their power.
This could give him an advantage and also let him plan better.
’But... who is this Zeyvyr?’
Lucien frowned, confused. He was already surprised by the class ranks of Sera and Lilith, but this unfamiliar name drew his attention far more.
After all, whoever this person was, they stood at the same realm as his grandfather: Peak of Weaver rank.
But most importantly... what truly shook Lucien was the class itself.
’S-Class Archmage? Who can it be?’
This was the first time Lucien saw someone with an S-Class rank.
Even he, with a unique class, only had a B-Rank of one at most. Of course, it was due to his low strength, but still.
’Why is such a powerful person stealing my assets?’
This was what he was confused about. He knew that an S-Class Weaver rank and a C-Class Weaver rank were two completely different concepts.
The former was definitely far more powerful.
But still, this person was stealing something from him, causing his name to appear under the Partial Collection tab.
’Let’s see what he stole.’
Lucien thought and quickly dragged his eyes to the Debtors section, only to be speechless immediately.
’That’s it?’
---
[Debt Issued]:
Partial Collection:
Zeyvyr – Coral Gems ×20, Luminous Shells ×17 crates
---
Looking at the pitiful amount of wealth this person had stolen, Lucien didn’t know what to say.
’Coral gems, Luminous shells? Why is this person interested in such things?’
For a person with such high power, Lucien was sure that such things didn’t matter much. After all, these things were alchemical ingredients used for making low rank potions or used in array and such.
Some people might even use them as decorations. For a S-class Archmage, he didn’t see any use whatsoever.
’Maybe it was a mistake? Hmm... that must be it.’
Lucien thought it made sense. Maybe the person didn’t even realize he got those things during his journey.
But suddenly, Lucien remembered another thing and quickly asked in his mind,
’System, can you...assign a Debt Value to this Zeyvyr?’
There was one feature that he still hadn’t used, and he didn’t know why he suddenly wanted to use it on this unknown entity.
Maybe he was greedy?
[Assigning Debt Value to Zeyvyr, please wait.]
Sure enough, the system immediately responded and gave him the data he wanted without making him wait.
---
[Name: Zeyvyr]
[Realm: Weaver (Peak)]
[Class: S-Class Archmage]
[Debt Value: 2↑]
---
’Hmm...too low.’
Lucien shook his head.
The 2 Points of Debt value were really nothing. Even if he did Partial Collection, he would gain nothing, not to mention the risk.
’Forget it. I didn’t lose much anyway. Let’s just ignore for now.’
He thought and was about to close the panel in his mind when suddenly he noticed something odd,
---
[Name: Zeyvyr]
[Realm: Weaver (Peak)]
[Class: S-Class Archmage]
[Debt Value: 10↑]
---
He noticed that the 2 Points of Debt Value suddenly soared to 10 Points out of nowhere.
’What the? What did he do?’
Lucien was shocked and immediately looked at his wealth, only to see the Coral Gem Deposits under the Viremond Duchy Warehouse decreasing by one.
---
Important Warehouses:
Viremond Duchy (Southern – Coastal Trade Nexus)
• Trade Goods Warehouses: 14
• Cargo Seals Vaults: 9
• Coral Gem Deposits: 7 -- 6 (precious coral, rare shells, enchanted sea crystals)
---
’The fuck!’
Here he thought what that person stole was nothing, then suddenly he got slapped immediately.
This was the first time someone had stolen the entire warehouse of their Goldveil family.
Weirdly, it was still Coral Gem Deposits that weren’t worth much.
’Who the fuck is he?’
Lucien got really curious but had no clue. So, he finally opened his eyes, intending to do the research.
Not just on this Zeyvyr, but also on others, so that he could safely collect the debts. There should be no leak about his abilities whatsoever.
"Did you finally think about the plan? Or, maybe, think for a while more."
Just when Lucien opened his eyes, he heard his father’s words laced with sarcasm. He didn’t look one bit happy with his behavior.
"Cough... Dad, I need some time to arrange plans in my brain, you know."
Lucien coughed after seeing his look a little awkwardly.
"Yeah, yeah...you and your plan. Who am I to ask? Do whatever."
Cedric didn’t believe a word he said. He just leaned back in his chair, intending to be a spectator.
Since his father had given Lucien the authority, he had no intention of stopping him anymore.
’Let that old man see the chaos this brat will bring,’ Cedric thought.
"Cough... Okay, now that I’ve finally taken the lead, let’s first do the introduction."
Lucien ignored his father and finally laid eyes on the five middle-aged men standing silently before him.
He knew a few things about them, and more importantly, he knew they were bound by the Sanguine Bond to serve his family.
So, he didn’t waste time. With a wave of his hand, he ordered:
"First, tell me your name and your role in the Goldveil Exchange. Don’t say anything useless."
Lucien had no interest in exchanging pleasantries with these old men. His eyes went straight to the one wearing glasses, the man who’d once claimed he would bring about the downfall of Lucien’s family.
"Uhum... Nephew Lucien... my name is—"
"SIR!"
"Hm?"
"Say, SIR, when talking to me in this tower. No need to connect relations. Keep things professional."
Lucien didn’t like this man, who looked too slick for his own good. He knew exactly what kind of persona a merchant could have.
They only looked at profit and nothing else. And this guy looked exactly like that kind.
