Lucien frowned, confused. He was already surprised by the class ranks of Sera and Lilith, but this unfamiliar name drew his attention far more.

Not just on this Zeyvyr, but also on others, so that he could safely collect the debts. There should be no leak about his abilities whatsoever.

Just when Lucien opened his eyes, he heard his father’s words laced with sarcasm. He didn’t look one bit happy with his behavior.

Lucien coughed after seeing his look a little awkwardly.

"Yeah, yeah...you and your plan. Who am I to ask? Do whatever."

Cedric didn’t believe a word he said. He just leaned back in his chair, intending to be a spectator.

Since his father had given Lucien the authority, he had no intention of stopping him anymore.

’Let that old man see the chaos this brat will bring,’ Cedric thought.

Lucien had no interest in exchanging pleasantries with these old men. His eyes went straight to the one wearing glasses, the man who’d once claimed he would bring about the downfall of Lucien’s family.

"Uhum... Nephew Lucien... my name is—"

"SIR!"

"Hm?"

"Say, SIR, when talking to me in this tower. No need to connect relations. Keep things professional."

Lucien didn’t like this man, who looked too slick for his own good. He knew exactly what kind of persona a merchant could have.

They only looked at profit and nothing else. And this guy looked exactly like that kind.
