CHAPTER 539: CHAPTER 537: THE PRINCE OF YIN FAMILY_1

From their expressions, they were clearly aware of Liu Feiyue’s strength. They must have also been present during the turmoil at the inn that day. These Black Market Deacons had clearly received prior instructions from the Chi Kong Young Master and thus recognized them both.

"You two are finally here! Oh, where is young brother Dustless?" one of the Black Market Deacons asked, looking around.

"I’m right here."

Ling Chen glanced at the Deacon. It seems none of them recognize me. My disguise was successful this time.

Seeing the puzzled expression on the Deacon’s face, Ling Chen waved his hand and said with a smile, "When one navigates the Jianghu, offending enemies is inevitable. It’s always wise to have a few extra identities, just in case."

"That is true." The Deacon chuckled. "Please, you two." After exchanging a few more words with Ling Chen and noticing his lack of interest in further conversation, the Deacon tactfully stepped aside, gesturing them forward with a smile.

"Thank you." Ling Chen cupped his fists towards the Deacon in thanks. Without further ceremony, he and Liu Feiyue proceeded through the dedicated passage, vanishing from everyone’s sight.

Ling Chen and Liu Feiyue walked through a softly lit passage. After about a few minutes, the view ahead suddenly opened up, and an auction hall of colossal proportions appeared before them.

Gazing at the auction hall, densely packed with an untold number of seats, Ling Chen couldn’t help but click his tongue in amazement. He had never witnessed an auction of this magnitude. Compared to the Golden Jade Pavilion auction he had previously attended, this was on an entirely different level, like a firefly to the moon.

The enormous auction hall was already quite full, and the cacophony of voices created a rather noisy atmosphere.

Ling Chen gazed towards the inner part of the hall where many Black Market experts were busy receiving powerful individuals from various factions. The Chi Kong Young Master was evidently among them. He was currently engaged in a cheerful conversation with an elder in a Purple Robe. Judging by the elder’s aura, he had clearly reached the Sky Apex Realm and was likely the leader of some faction in the Black Sand Land.

Despite its small size, the Black Sand Land was home to an exceptional number of factions. Moreover, many who had offended Martial Arts Great Factions had hidden here after changing their names and identities. Thus, the Black Sand Land could be described as a place of hidden dragons and crouching tigers. It wouldn’t be surprising if a Top Sky Apex Strong, renowned for their dominance in the Martial World, suddenly appeared here disguised as an ordinary person.

"That’s the Sect Leader of the Sea Shark Sect, one of the renowned figures in the Black Sand Land."

Just as Ling Chen’s gaze rested on the elder in the Purple Robe, a pleasant female voice came from his side. He turned to look and saw a young woman in a blue dress with bright eyes and pearly teeth walking towards him. Her beautiful, large eyes, seemingly veiled in a perpetual mist, were Soul Hooking, enchanting, and utterly captivating.

Lin Ya? Ling Chen exclaimed inwardly. The newcomer was none other than Lin Ya, the Worry-free Young Master, one of the three great Young Masters of the Black Market. He and she were, one could say, well acquainted.

"You two must be Liu Feiyue and Dustless, the disciples of The Master of the Cyan Robe Association, correct?" Lin Ya looked at Ling Chen and Liu Feiyue, a gentle smile playing on her lips as she spoke. That smile immediately drew the gazes of those nearby, their eyes practically glued to her.

Today, Lin Ya wore a blue skirt that fell just past her knees. Yet, as she moved, glimpses of her slender, snow-white, jade-like legs could still be seen. It was no wonder so many gazes lingered on her, reluctant to depart.

"Indeed." Ling Chen nodded. Looking at the bright smile on Lin Ya’s face, even he couldn’t be certain whether she had recognized him.

"Please, both of you, follow me." With that, she turned, her slender, supple waist swaying like a willow as she led the way. Ling Chen quickly followed, careful to keep his gaze straight ahead.

The two followed Lin Ya as she navigated several passages within the auction hall. After a short while, they finally stopped near the front rows. Lin Ya then bowed and withdrew.

These front-row seats were like small, individual boxes, exquisitely designed and exceptionally luxurious. Sitting within one, the clamor from the rear seemed completely isolated. Looking down, one had an excellent vantage point, taking in every corner of the central auction stage.

Ling Chen settled into one of the plush chairs in the VIP box they had been led to, his body sinking into its soft embrace. His gaze, however, slowly swept across the other VIP boxes.

The VIP boxes were already occupied by quite a few people, so their arrival naturally drew many gazes. Of course, Ling Chen’s current appearance was unremarkable, but Liu Feiyue was different. With her beauty and fame, many recognized her instantly.

She hadn’t originally intended to be so conspicuous. However, Ling Chen’s actions at the inn had already exposed their presence. Her identity could no longer be concealed, so there was no need for further pretense.

"The Bright Moon Sword, Liu Feiyue?"

From a VIP box in the front row, a young man with somewhat delicate features stood up. Upon seeing Liu Feiyue and Lin Ya, two exceptionally beautiful women, a glint appeared in his eyes, and he immediately walked over.

"Miss Liu Feiyue, Miss Lin Ya, long time no see." The young man with delicate features cupped his fists towards them, a smile as pleasant as a spring breeze gracing his lips.

Liu Feiyue said, "So, it’s Yin Zongli, the Prince of the Yin Family." She clearly recognized him as well. The Yin Family, to which Yin Zongli belonged, was a renowned martial arts aristocratic family in the Martial World. However, the Yin Family’s influence was not overt; they were a reclusive clan. In the Martial World, only the major first-rate powers knew of their existence. The Yin Family was not unique in this regard; there were several such reclusive clans in the Martial World. For example, Baili Xuance, from the previous Martial Arts Conference, belonged to the Dragon Hidden Clan. Yin Zongli himself was ranked ninth on the Young Master List, his strength likely comparable to that of the Gentleman of the Wind.

"Miss Lin Ya, you grow more beautiful with each passing day. You are truly a highlight of this auction. I wonder how many young talents will be utterly captivated by you." Yin Zongli looked at Lin Ya with a smile. Truth be told, even I find myself coveting Lin Ya’s beauty. If I could make such a stunning woman mine, to have her beside me at night... that would truly be one of life’s greatest joys. However, compared to Lin Ya, I desire Liu Feiyue even more. A woman who embodies such strength, beauty, and charisma all in one is a peerless treasure, truly unique in all the world.

"It has only been a year, and Miss Liu Feiyue’s strength has improved considerably! At the upcoming Nine Dragons Lake Sword Contest, it seems Miss Liu is set to once again astound the world and emerge as the champion," Yin Zongli added, smiling and cupping his fists towards Liu Feiyue.

As for Ling Chen, he was completely ignored by Yin Zongli. He’s probably just a servant or an attendant Liu Feiyue brought along, Yin Zongli mused.
