Love Command: Darling, Do You Yield?
Chapter 48 - 49 He Wants to See Her
CHAPTER 48: CHAPTER 49 HE WANTS TO SEE HER
He would never do anything to hurt her.
Never.
If Brandan Hyde could make her happy, he would give his blessing. If he couldn’t, he would wait until she completely gave up and then take her away.
He loved her calmly like this, not passionately or loudly, but deeply and enduringly.
This is how he liked someone.

In the next few days, Brandan Hyde never went to see Iris Harris again.
He didn’t know how to face her.
Since the conversation with William Moore, he felt his heart was in turmoil.
Completely in turmoil.
In his twenty-three years of life, he had never been this flustered.
His intellect could handle the most complex documents, but he couldn’t untangle his own heart.
He couldn’t understand why he had become like this.
He even dared not visit Iris Harris anymore.
The banquet.
Alex Hawk watched Brandan Hyde standing alone in the corner, downing drinks continuously, and couldn’t help feeling a bit frustrated.
They came here to relax, not to drink away their sorrows.
"Brandan, what’s wrong?" Watching Brandan Hyde pick up another glass to drink, Alex Hawk felt a bit nervous and quickly grabbed it away, "Isn’t it enough! If you keep drinking, you’ll get drunk! Are you still planning on going home tonight!"
"So annoying!" Brandan Hyde snatched Alex Hawk’s glass and took a big gulp, "Don’t mind me!"
Alex Hawk gave him a look: "What’s going on? What’s worth drinking away your sorrows? Did you have a fight with Viola?"
"It has nothing to do with her."
"Then who does it have to do with?"
"Iris Harris!"
At the mention of this name, Brandan Hyde couldn’t help but grit his teeth.
Alex Hawk couldn’t help but be taken aback: "No way? Is she pestering you again?"
"No."
Brandan Hyde pouted and said.
At this point, he felt a bit frustrated.
Iris Harris had been discharged from the hospital a week ago.
Since that day, he hadn’t seen her once.
He was too embarrassed to see her, so they hadn’t seen each other for almost half a month.
For some reason, he found himself increasingly wanting to see her.
But how could he bring himself to face her?
Damn Iris Harris, when he didn’t want to see her before, she’d always linger around, and now that he wants to see her, she’s nowhere to be found!
Nothing ever goes his way!
Alex Hawk looked at Brandan Hyde as if struck by lightning, "Hah? Why are you bothered if she’s not pestering you?"
This guy hated Iris Harris to death, and now that Iris Harris has finally learned to avoid him, he actually feels bothered! What is this? Stockholm syndrome?
"You don’t understand."
Brandan Hyde glanced at Alex Hawk.
Alex Hawk nodded, indeed not understanding what was going on in Brandan Hyde’s mind.
"If you want to see her, just go see her."
Alex Hawk said casually.
Unexpectedly, Brandan Hyde had a big reaction.
"Pfft!" Brandan Hyde choked, looking at Alex Hawk incredulously, "Who said I wanted to see her?"
Alex Hawk just said it casually.
But seeing Brandan Hyde’s big reaction, he was stunned.
He suspiciously looked at Brandan Hyde’s face. The other party’s face was flushed from choking, yet somehow, to his eyes, it seemed full of an air of trying to conceal something.
"Brandan..."
"What?"
"You really want to see Iris Harris, don’t you?"
"Pfft!"
Brandan Hyde choked again.
He wiped his mouth and said angrily, "Shut up! What nonsense are you spouting!"
Alex Hawk nodded while playing with his lighter, "Exactly. You don’t even like her, how could you want to see her."
"..."
Brandan Hyde said nothing, drinking silently, and somehow felt a bit guilty listening to Alex Hawk’s words.
