Shen Cheng immediately tried to swat his hand with the document, but Shi Yu dodged, biting her earlobe and murmuring, "I’m just greeting my little treasure."

Shen Cheng turned her head to look at him, their deep-set eyes nearly touching nose to nose.

Shen Cheng cleared her throat with a light cough, seriously reminding him, "We’re at the company, restrain yourself a bit."

But Shi Yu didn’t care at all, his tone nonchalant, "Mm, your company."

He even emphasized "your" a bit, his face full of teasing.

Seeing his hand reaching out again, Shen Cheng took a step backward and shook the document in her hand, "When should I hand it to you?"

Shi Yu closed the distance with a step, wrapping his arm around her waist and pulling her into his embrace, emitting a near-silent laugh that wasn’t quite a laugh.

"When you’ve finished looking at it."

Face to face, Shen Cheng could almost feel his breath, "Then are there any requirements?"

"Requirements, just handle it as you see fit."

Shen Cheng felt the pressure increase on her waist, about to speak when Shi Yu silenced her with his mouth, leaving her only to clutch the document in her hand tightly.

After kissing her and indulging in a lingering lick on her lips, Shi Yu finally withdrew his hand.

Shen Cheng turned and pushed open the luxuriously ornate glass door, heading back to the secretarial office.

The document wasn’t thick, and it had gotten a bit wrinkled from the earlier fuss.

Sitting down, Shen Cheng stretched lazily and began to flip through.

But after just two pages, she noticed something was amiss; many areas were already marked with black pen notes, clearly indicating that the review process was done, just awaiting a summary.

"What’s this." She muttered to herself softly, though a slight smile crept onto her lips.

She flipped directly to the end, finding that even the last page had already been annotated.

It seemed, indeed, that Shi Yu had already gone through the document.

All she had to do was incorporate the annotations into the text and reprint a new copy.

Shen Cheng yawned lazily and carefully looked through it again.

She found three places where there were issues due to unclear original data, and she casually marked them with her pen.

Not wanting to call and ask, she got up with the document and walked out of the office, planning to take this opportunity to also familiarize herself with the different departments.

Turning a corner, she saw the vast office area already filled with staffers, each person busily working with a tense expression.

The relaxed feeling Shen Cheng had instantly got suppressed by the tense atmosphere here.
