Third Person POV
Jolene finished her cigarette outside the restaurant and then walked back in.
By the time she came back to the table, Aria and Alpha Grayson were already gone.

The other customers kept giving her strange looks, and the guards seemed to want her to leave with them immediately, but Jolene didn’t give a damn about anyone else’s opinion. She ordered the restaurant’s signature steak and asked for the most expensive wine. She took her bsweet /btime and enjoyed everything leisurely before finally getting up to leave.
“Put it on Alpha Grayson’s tab,” she told the waiter with a satisfied smile.
Then she left the restaurant and ordered the guards to escort her back to the hotel.
Just as she was about to get into the car, her phone rang. ncing at the caller ID, she immediately stopped.
“Wait for me here,” shemanded the guards.
She walked aside, nced back to make sure no one could hear her, and then answered the phone in a hushed, respectful tone:
“…Yes? Lady I?”
“Hello, Jolene.”
I’s voice came through the line. “How is everything going? Aria Collins didn’t ask too many questions about your identity, did she?”
“I can tell she was definitely suspicious at first. But as you instructed, I prepared a fake sample for the DNA test in advance. Once the paternity report came back, she had to believe it,” Jolene said. After a pause, she added with a smile, “Besides, the setup with Laura was so brilliant that the little bitch surely has no doubts left after today.”
“The setup with Laura was my father’s idea. He thought Aria needed a third–party witness to confirm your identity. And it worked, as expected,” I giggled.
That’s right.
This “Jolene” was a woman sent by I to impersonate Aria Collins’s mother.
Even the saleswoman Laura, who seemed to have a history with Jolene, was also one of their people.
They knew a paternity report alone might notpletely erase Aria’s doubts. So they deliberately set up a person named Laura and led Aria to that store today to put on a show in front of her.
So firmly convinced by the horrible rtionship between Laura and Jolene, Aria bought into everything Laura said. Because she thought Laura would have no reason to cover for Jolene.

Yet what Aria didn’t bexpect /bwas that every person was ba /bpawn on the chessboard. And she bhad /bbeenpletely yed.
“Now that your identity is confirmed, you can start doing your job,” I said in ba /bsatisfactory tone. “Tell bme /babout your progressb. /bHow far have you gone?”
b“/bIt’s been a very productive day, mydy. Just now during dinner, I asked Grayson Hart to marry Aria. He seemed enraged,” Jolene reported.
I giggled on the other end of the line, sounding thrilled. “How exactly was he enraged? Tell me everythingb. /b
“Well, after I said what I wanted, he refused to even make eye contact with that little tramp. Then she almost burst into tears in front of him, and he waspletely indifferent. In the end, Grayson left the restaurant first, leaving her behind.”
“Great…that’s fantastic!” Iughed out loud. Then she said through gritted teeth, “Finally… Finally it’s timeb. /bfor that bitch to get a taste of this. Just wait, Aria Collins…..He will only grow to despise you more. And in the end he’ll toss you away like a piece of trash.”
“So I should carry on with our current n?” Jolene asked.
“Absolutely,” I said without hesitation. “Keep forcing Grayson to marry her. It will only backfire. The harder you press, the more he’ll resent her. He was deeply hurt after our marriage. Right now, marriage and being controlled are the two things he hates most in the world. Let’s y into that.”
“No problem, mydy. And it seems Grayson Hart suspects that Aria and I nned this marriage thing together.”
“Good, you can use that too. Make him think Aria is a scheming bitch,” I said with a hint of smile. “Keep driving a wedge between them. Split them up for good. You will definitely be rewarded when you seed.”
“Of course,” Jolene said respectfully, leaning forward slightly even though I couldn’t see her. “It is my greatest honor to serve you and Alpha dimir. I also wish you the best of luck in the uing trial.”
“Oh, it will go smoothly for sure,” I said giggling. “I will clear my name at the trial ande back to Grayson’s side as his Luna. Nothing can separate us this time.”
“We all look forward to that day, mydy.”
After hanging up her phone, Jolene got into the car and returned to the hotel.
When she arrived at the top–floor suite, she ran into Aria standing by the door alone, looking lost. The young girl’s bface /bwas bstill /bcovered in tears.
Jolene felt a surge of joy inside, but she put on a concerned look and came closer to her. “What’s going on sweetheart? Why are you standing out here alone? And where is Alpha Grayson?”
Aria turned her head slowly, giving her a gaze that was both icy and full of disgust. Of course Aria would hate her. Especially after what she did today. But Jolene didn’t care. Her “mother” identity was the ultimate safeguard. Aria could no longer push her out of her life.

“He’s gone. Are you happy now?” Aria said through clenched teeth, giving a rough wipe of her face.
“Gone?” Jolene faked a shock look. She peeked into the room. Yeah that’s true. Half of their luggage was gone.
God, this strategy was working even better than expected.
Jolene pressed down her thrill and put on a surprised face. “He left without you? Why?”
Aria red at her angrily. “Are you ying dumb now? He left because of everything you said!” fnfe7f For more chapters visit fι?dnοvel/fnfe7f
“You mean he abandoned you here just because I asked him to take responsibility and enter amitted rtionship with you? Fucking hell, it’s so damn cruel. What kind of boyfriend does that? Are you sure he really cares about you?”
Jolene caught a sh of vulnerability on Aria’s face. She knew she had pressed the right spot again.
Everyone has a dark side. Aria Collins’s was the fear that Grayson didn’t love her. And Grayson Hart’s was his hatred of marriage and being controlled.
As long as she targeted the right pressure points, she had no doubt she could break this loving couple apart.
“You should talk to him. Tell him this is not okay,” Jolene continued, giving advice from a “mother’sb” /bperspective. “Leaving you behind like this? What’s the difference between this and chasing your girlfriend out of the car on the highway? It’s horrible. Not to mention his cold reaction tonight! I doubt he even loves you at all-”
“Just shut up, OK?!” Aria yelled. She rushed into the room and mmed the door in Jolene’s face.
Jolene shrugged and turned back to her own room. She’s aplished enough in one day. There’s still plenty of time for her to finish the big job.
She was the best spy trained by the Spike Hill Pack, assigned only the most difficult and dangerous missions. ying a non–existent person under the nose of that terrifying man Grayson Hart was extremely risky, but she was up ito /ithe task.
Just wait, Aria Collins.
Step by step, I will drag iyou /iinto a burning hell. Just as Lady I wishes.
