Lust System: Harem Of Beautiful Women
Chapter 96: Complicated Mood
CHAPTER 96: COMPLICATED MOOD
Luis could tell she was tipsy, but not completely drunk. She was still speaking coherently.
"Stop playing dumb. I was in little sister’s room earlier and couldn’t sleep because the two of you were so loud."
Leah smiled suggestively: "I listened to Lily moaning for over twenty minutes, and you still didn’t get to have sex. So it must’ve just been you doing all the work, huh?"
"You’re still not soft, and you came down here to smoke something that wasn’t even a post-sex cigarette... tsk."
Nancy adopted a stern tone and said, "Don’t worry, brother-in-law. I’m definitely going to talk to her tomorrow. Even if she’s pregnant, she can’t just neglect her husband like this once her belly gets bigger."
Eldest sister acting like a mother... Her sense of responsibility was strong.
Luis quickly explained, "Sister, please don’t say anything to her. Let her rest properly now. Whether I cum or not doesn’t really matter."
"Bullshit. I know exactly what men are like. Once your dick gets hard, you’re no different from a horny dog."
Luis was stunned by her words. Nancy looked slightly embarrassed at first but then stubbornly insisted, "What? Did I wrong you? Every man is like that."
Luis immediately replied in a helpless tone, "No, Sister, what I meant was just scold me, okay? Please don’t bring this up with Lily anymore."
"You really dote on your wife."
Nancy’s gaze softened. "What did you ask for? Be honest with me. If you tell me everything clearly, I’ll let you off the hook."
"Sister, please just let me go!"
Luis said pleadingly, "Lily insisted she was going to blow me until I came. I didn’t force her."
Hearing this, Nancy seemed to recall the scene she witnessed last night and the things she heard, but her face still flushed slightly as she pressed further: "And then?"
The more she spoke, the more outrageous this became. But with her face flushed from alcohol, she looked incredibly alluring. That face, so reminiscent of Penny Tai, now carried a seductive, enchanting charm.
It was like a fox spirit not vulgar, but bewitching. Her eyes held a tipsy haze, and a single glance from her was enough to make a man’s thoughts stir.
"Sister, this is our privacy."
Luis retreated strategically: "If something’s bothering you, I’ll drink with you. But why are you asking about private matters between a husband and wife?"
She clinked her can against his and then downed the beer boldly in one go.
Nancy set down her drink, widened her eyes, and said, "Privacy, my ass. You’re saying that to me, your sister? You’re treating me like an outsider, aren’t you?"
"You little punk, explain yourself clearly. I was listening from the bedroom and ended up getting all worked up myself."
As she spoke, she opened another can of beer for Luis.
"Hearing Lily moan for so long, I could tell it was just you pleasuring her. She didn’t even give you head for very long. I’m definitely going to tell Mom about this and have her scold Lily too."
"Sure, she needs extra care when she’s pregnant, but she can’t just act spoiled and take you for granted like this."
"Sister, at least it’s not as complicated as you think. I don’t know why, but as soon as Lily got back to the room today, she was determined to lick me until I came. Before I could even react, she was already pulling down my pants and going down on me."
"Then I asked her why she didn’t tell me about the prenatal checkup today. I was a little upset—normally, I’d want to go with her."
"Lily said she didn’t want to trouble you. Was that wrong? I even made a special trip to take Leah to school this morning!"
Nancy frowned delicately.
"That is absolutely not right!"
Luis exclaimed with visible emotion, "My wife is not without a husband, nor is she lacking a husband’s care. How could she possibly go to her first prenatal checkup all alone?"
"I am utterly furious. Accompanying her to the prenatal appointments is non-negotiable—that is the first point."
"Secondly, regardless of the cost, I must be by her side during this time. Given your sister’s personality, if she were to choose, she would definitely pick the cheapest option, maybe just a few dozen dollars. But if I go, we’re doing the full suite—the thousand-dollar 4D ultrasound included."
Luis suddenly downed his drink and slammed the glass on the table. "Elder Sister, it’s not that I’m stingy. I’m afraid she will try to save money."
"It infuriates me! Why did she tell Mother about the checkup and not me?!"
He continued, righteous indignation burning in his tone, "That’s what angered me the most just now. Does she even see me as her husband?"
His reason for anger was enough to make others jealous. Many women experience pregnancy with husbands too busy to accompany them properly, some even work far away and aren’t present at all.
Even someone as domineering as Arthur wouldn’t bother accompanying you even if he had free time. He’d expect you to come home with a swollen belly and still serve him.
Ruth didn’t even need to say anything about her father-in-law, the relatives and friends around them had already gossiped plenty. The three sisters were all too aware of their father’s character.
By comparison, Luis’s anger stemmed purely from responsibility and devotion. It might come off as showy, even boastful, but one couldn’t help but feel envious of Lily.
Nancy thought for a moment, then suddenly remarked, "But even after the child is born, it won’t carry your surname."
Clutching at superiority was perhaps the only card she had left to play. After all, no matter what, Luis was still the live-in son-in-law.
Without hesitation, Luis replied, "It doesn’t matter. The surname is irrelevant. This child is the proof of our love."
"I have no issue with the surname Wood. Whether it’s a boy or a girl, what matters most to me is the child’s health."
He shook his head dismissively.
Nancy picked up her drink, took a sip, and sighed. Sitting on the small stool, she seemed to hesitate, holding something back.
Luis pretended not to notice, took another small sip, and said, "Elder Sister, I should head back now."
"Don’t you dare leave. Keep drinking with me."
Just as Nancy grabbed Luis’s arm, her phone lit up.
She picked it up, and her expression shifted. "Mother is coming back. She asked if you want her to bring some midnight snacks."
The message was sent to the eldest sister-in-law. How guilty must Mother-in-Law be feeling? She was probably testing the waters, afraid Luis might be up to something, checking if he was already asleep.
"No need. Tell Mother to come back and rest directly. Those old ladies definitely drank a lot at their gathering."
As Luis stood up again, Nancy typed with one hand while still holding his arm with the other. Her delicate brows furrowed. "What’s wrong? Can’t you drink with your elder sister?"
"Elder Sister, we should at least turn on the TV. Otherwise, if Mom walks in and sees us drinking in silence like this, she’ll be scared out of her wits."
Luis spoke helplessly.
Nancy’s face flushed, and she quickly turned on the TV. With some background noise in the living room, things felt more normal. Otherwise, a man and a woman drinking alone together could seem ambiguous, what if Mother saw and misunderstood?
"Besides, drinking on an empty stomach makes you drunk easily, and it’s bad for your stomach. Let me make a couple of dishes to go with the drinks, and I’ll also prepare some soup to help Mother sober up."
When Ruth returned, her face was flushed from alcohol. She peeked around like a thief, moving cautiously and quietly, a far cry from her usual bold and unrestrained demeanor.
"Are the two of them asleep?"
Ruth asked softly, her brows slightly furrowed as she watched her eldest daughter sitting and drinking in the living room.
Nancy’s mood was complicated. She pointed toward the kitchen. Ruth turned and saw Luis in the kitchen. He smiled and greeted her, "Mother, you’re back? Go wash up first. I’ve prepared some soup, it’ll help you sober up."
"Oh, alright!"
Remembering the ambiguous moments with her son-in-law, Ruth panicked and scurried back to the bedroom like a thief.
