The man’s nerves were on edge; he hated hearing things about ghosts and monsters, especially now in the dark alley, talking about such things made his skin crawl.

“Don’t talk nonsense; there’s no such thing in this world. It’s cold here, let’s just go to a hotel.”

Charm’s words made him feel the alley was terrifyingly eerie, so he’d rather go to a hotel where they could do whatever they wanted.

In the darkness, Charm’s enchanting face appeared especially eerie, her smile chilling and frightening.

The man forcefully pushed Charm away, cursing, “Damn it, you’ve killed my mood.”

He didn’t want to stay a moment longer, figuring he could just head back to the bar to find someone else, thinking this woman was being nuts.

An icy voice came from behind the man, and he angrily turned his head, only to see black mist rising from Charm’s body, causing him to fall to the ground in fright, “Ghost, ghost, ghost!”

“Ghosts what? Didn’t I say demons? Are people’s intelligence so worrying these days?”

The sound of Charm’s high heels clicked towards the man, who wanted to escape in fear but found his body enveloped by black mist, unable to move.

Charm smiled seductively, crouching down, looking at the man who lay on the ground, terrified, staring at her. Her scarlet-nailed finger lifted his chin, forcing him to look at her.

“Don’t you like beauties? Didn’t you want to spend the night with me? Didn’t you want to be with me forever? I’m giving you a chance now!”

Charm’s voice was eerily low, the man was so frightened he lost control of his bladder, shaking his head frantically, begging for mercy, “I was wrong, I was wrong, please let me go, I believe you, I’ll believe anything, please let me go, I have family to support, I can’t have anything happen, I was wrong, please spare me.”

“Hehehe.” The seductive voice echoed in the darkness, Charm’s lips close to the man’s, her beautiful eyes chillingly eerie, “Let you go, how could that be possible? You are my prey, how could I let my prey go?”

The man shook his head desperately, he didn’t want to die, he wanted to escape; how could there be ghosts and monsters in this world, who was this woman, why was she so terrifying?

But no matter how much the man wanted to escape, he was already doomed to become Charm’s food.

Charm moved closer to the man, the black mist she exuded enveloping him completely, her lips closing in on his, forcefully sucking his Vital Qi.

His face showed terror, as Charm held his cheeks, sucking his Vital Qi forcibly, his struggle weakening, cheeks hollowing, turning from white to ashen gray, his fingers and body also beginning to sink in.

Minutes later, Charm stood up, tossing aside the dead man, curling her lips with disdain.

The sound of leather shoes echoed from the darkness, Charm cautiously glared coldly towards the source of the steps, “Who’s there?”

A tall, slender figure emerged from the dark, his handsome face carved like stone appearing before Charm, her heart that was cautious began to pound wildly on seeing the newcomer. She smiled a breathtaking smile, no longer a pretend enchantress, but a genuinely pure and sincere smile filled with fondness.
