These swords, daggers, and javelins, like rain, whizzed into the formation of Snake-men. The unlucky throwers didn't even have the chance to dodge. Fortunately, these scaly creatures haven't evolved wings yet; they are like straw dummies on a training ground, completely becoming targets.

Gold Coins and silver coins clattered from the direction of the ground, slamming hard onto the inverted triangular heads of the Snake-men, forcing them to clutch their wounds and howl in pain.

"It won't take long for them to adapt to their current posture, mages, eliminate the enemies as much as possible!" Lynch retreated to the side of the Black Teleportation Stone, shouting orders loudly.

Only at this moment did those mages awaken as if from a dream, recovering from the spectacular scene of the Snake-men collectively rising into the air. They hastily took out their already-prepared Magic Wands and attacked the enemies.

The spellcasters of the Snake-men immediately began to counterattack, but soon they were left only with the strength to parry and block. Due to the high difficulty of learning arcane, almost all capable mages were discovered and absorbed by the Mage Association, so the spellcasters of the Snake-men mainly consisted of priests and shamans, with an occasional magician among them. In terms of the destructive power of spells alone, Lynch's companions were all well-prepared, using various Magic Wands without reservation; the power of elements and necromancy was continuous and overwhelming, rushing toward the airborne Snake-men. Those Snake-men spellcasters could only try their best to neutralize the damage caused by these spells, using a Spell Nullification Barrier to wrap around those most exposed on the outside.

However, also affected by the isolation effect was the anti-gravity effect applied to these serpentine bodies. The outermost layer of Snake-men guards suddenly lost the support of floating in the air, falling like meteors. Even if they wanted to use Feather Fall or flight, they would be interfered with by the Spell Nullification Barrier. Lynch turned his head, unable to bear watching these creatures slam into the ground and get crushed.

Initially, there were still a few Snake-men who could spare some attention to try to diminish Lynch's anti-gravity effect so that their group could slowly lower in altitude. But now, because many spellcasting Snake-men had turned into minced meat, the energy Lynch needed to maintain the Magic Barrier was increasingly reduced.

The strike team never expected that they would be able to gradually turn such a disadvantageous situation around and even suppress the opponent in offense. During the intervals of chanting spells, they glanced at the Great Mage standing next to them, their expressions filled with admiration and trust.

"Why hasn't Zilvra opened the Teleportation Gate yet?" Lynch touched the black stone; it remained as solid as metal, showing no sign of magical fluctuation. The mage turned to his trailing companions and asked, "How much longer on the timed device?"

"At most 3 minutes remaining!"

Lynch slammed the Black Stone hard, took out the Seven-Headed Serpent Emblem from his pocket, and began chanting spells. Because the timers designed by dwarves cannot always guarantee precise operation each time, Lynch required a "buffer" of about 3 minutes to be left when using them. If they didn't retreat now, the Dwarf Bombs could explode near them at any moment.

There was no reaction from the Teleportation Gate heading towards Zilvra; Lynch couldn't activate this path. If it wasn't because the Teleportation Stone on the other side was destroyed, then there was only one possibility: teams were still continuously returning to Zilvra's location, and Lynch couldn't insert his teleportation into their queue.

Just as the trouble Lynch faced here, many Snake-men bases had been rigged with Dwarf Bombs; some had already exploded, while others were ticking closer to detonation. Most places reachable by Teleportation Stones had become unsafe, and the escapable pathways were few and far between.

Lynch considered for only a second before choosing a destination. There was still a Teleportation Stone in the underground chamber of Holy Pate's archbishop, a place absolutely not on the list of Dwarf Bombs' targets. The mage quickly changed his usage of the Snake Emblem, also pressing the Magic Origin Power into the Black Stone to get it working quickly.

Ripple-like magical waves spread from the surface of the Black Stone, the retreat path was opened.

"Go!" Lynch waved a hand while casting a force field wall into the air. This transparent protection wouldn't last long but was enough for the entire strike team to pass through the Black Stone.

Urgent tapping sounds came from the Dwarf Bomb, signaling that its inner mechanism had begun operating. Lynch jumped fiercely into the Teleportation Gate, barely avoiding the shockwave of the Dwarf Bomb.

It was likely that the black Teleportation Stone on the Snake-man's side was instantly destroyed, so no harmful force intruded on Lynch and his group's return journey. The mage only felt that this teleportation took extraordinarily long, with an unending darkness around him and seemingly a pair of eyes watching.

Just as Lynch frowned, the light came back; the mage stepped out of the Teleportation Gate. However, he didn't see the strike team that had left before him, and this place was filled with silvery white radiance, unlike the dark chamber of the archbishop.

Nonetheless, something familiar immediately made him realize where he was. Two gigantic silver and white Light Spheres floated in mid-air, with pure magical energy continuously circulating between them; five faintly visible transparent scrolls stood like dutiful guards, filtering every strand of the arcane river.

"How did I end up here?" Lynch took two steps forward, his gaze completely drawn by the Magic Origin Power, a surge of excitement welling up inside him, urging and encouraging him to embrace the power without hesitation. The Arcane Wand lightly trembled, as if wanting to escape his control; a powerful allure and temptation intermingled with the humming sound of the silver spheres, piercing Lynch's ears and into his heart.

"Damn it!" Lynch backed away suddenly, returning to the side of the black boulder. Sweat soaked through his clothes, and the feeling of exhaustion quickly overtook every muscle. A sensation of losing all his strength spread, attempting to persuade him to step forward and once again experience the fullness of Magic Power.

But Lynch's rational mind prevailed, and his feet didn't advance an inch. It seemed the resurrection of the Magic God was drawing nearer, and his Divine Power already began leaking from the Magic Origin. The Magic Origin Power within him resonated with this call, and three arcane scrolls began to stir restlessly.

"You're even stronger than I imagined, escaping my grasp so quickly." A voice came from behind the black stone, a hoarse voice mixed with strange hissing sounds. Lynch turned his head to see the speaker stepping out from the other side of the Teleportation Stone. Still, that familiar white full-length robe with wide sleeves and hem embroidered with golden suns and snakes. Compared to the last meeting, the serpent that defeated Light God Pate and absorbed part of his power seemed even more confident, with a look of proud serenity between its brows.

"It was I who summoned you here, Lynch." The serpent smiled, "After all, this Teleportation Stone originates from my ability."
