Marked By Destiny: Claimed By Three Alpha Brothers
Chapter 94: Lucien! Save me!
CHAPTER 94: LUCIEN! SAVE ME!
"Ronan is digging deeper. He’s getting close to finding who leaked the military technique," whispered the man as he pretended to examine the items neatly lined on the supermarket shelf.
A feet away, a man wearing a black cap and matching jacket listened without turning his head. Without a word, he moved forward, grabbed a pack of cigarettes from the counter, paid, and stepped outside.
Lighting one, he put it between his lips. A puff of smoke curled from his lips as he stared at the quiet, empty road.
’If Ronan’s onto this, he’ll eventually find the ones who aided me. They’ve become liabilities.’
Just then, the same informant exited the store, deliberately avoiding eye contact. The man in black silently followed him.
Once they reached a blind spot between two buildings, he struck. In one swift motion, he shoved the informant into the shadowed alley. His hand clamped over the man’s mouth, elongated nails piercing the flesh of his neck. The informant gasped in terror, but it was too late.
His fangs were out, and he stuck them into the informant’s throat.
Moments later, the lifeless body slumped to the ground, blood pooling around it. The man in black stepped back, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand.
"Fuck," he muttered under his breath, turning back into his human form, hiding his angry wolf.

Leia finally had a peace of mind after talking to Rhea. She had a clarity of thoughts now whether she wanted one of the Calandrino brothers or all three.
On the way home, she spotted a familiar bakery she hadn’t visited in a while. Pulling her car to a stop outside, she stepped out and headed toward the glass entrance.
Just as she reached for the door, her shoulder lightly collided with a man exiting the shop, dressed in a black cap and black jacket.
"Oh, I’m sorry," Leia said instinctively, glancing up at his face.
The man hid his face in the brim of his cap, and continued walking without a word.
Leia hastily stepped inside as the warm scent of baked goods invited her in. She walked toward the display, peering through the glass at the neat rows of pastries and cakes.
After a short moment of indecision, her eyes landed on the mint chocolate pastries, her guilty favorite. Smiling softly to herself, she pointed them out to the server, paid, and accepted the box with a thank you.
As Leia went outside with a warm smile on her lips, she felt someone was watching her. She frowned, turning around to check. Shaking that feeling, she stepped into the car and started the engine.
While driving to her house, she kept thinking how to approach Ronan.
Her fingers tightened slightly around the steering wheel as she tried to organize her racing thoughts.
Suddenly, she felt someone just passed right from the front of the car to the other side.
"Ahh!" Leia screamed, her foot slamming down on the brake pedal. The tires screeched as the car jerked to a stop.
Her heart pounded violently in her chest. Her eyes darted around the road, trying to process what had just happened.
"What was that?" Leia whispered to herself, her hands trembling. She reached for her phone on the passenger seat, hurriedly flipping through her contacts. Her thumb hovered over Kieran’s name.
But before she could hit ’Call’, a loud thud on the hood made her jolt.
A figure in black had landed on the car’s engine, crouched like a predator. His cap had fallen back slightly, revealing the same cold, merciless face which she accidentally saw earlier. In one hand, he gripped an iron bat.
Leia’s eyes widened as he brought the bat down hard against the windshield.
The glass fractured and Leia instinctively turned her face away, shielding her head with her arms as she cried out again in terror.
She turned to look after a moment, realizing the person was no longer on the hood. Leia called Kieran, hoping he would answer the call.
And when he didn’t, she called Ronan.
"Oh my god! Why aren’t they picking up?" Leia muttered under her breath when from her side the attacker hit the windshield.
"Ahh!" Leia again screamed. She saw the attacker had his hand inside, unlocking the door.
Leia kicked him as soon as he opened the door before running out from the other side.
When Ronan didn’t either pick up, she called Lucien. "Please! Please!" She looked behind and saw the attacker was so close to her.
"Lucien! Save me!" she cried out the moment the call connected.
But it was too late.
A sudden force slammed into her back, sending her flying. Leia crashed onto the ground with a cry of pain as the phone tumbled from her grip, clattering far out of reach.
She saw the man had changed into his wolf’s form, his eyes looked hungry for killing. Leia, too, transformed and ran toward the forest to save her life.
’Why the hell is he chasing me?’ Leia thought, telling Zei that they needed to run faster. The wolf behind them was fast and violent.
In so many years, she had never been attacked or harmed like this by any wolf. Again, Leia started feeling upset about being in a pack.
At a certain distance, Zei slipped as a huge pebble came in her way. Her foot got twisted and bruised.
’Why? Why do you want to kill me? I did nothing.’
Zei again dragged her body up, trying her best to save themselves from the crazy wolf chasing them.
As she ran again, the wolf behind her scoffed before lurching toward her with a powerful blow.
Zei’s leg started bleeding after a few thick branches scratched it on the way, but she couldn’t stop. It would be end for them if the wolf caught them.
The wolf suddenly appeared before her, jumping from over Zei, thus making her halt.
’This isn’t right. Now, what should I do?’ Leia thought.
