CHAPTER 87: GENTLE OR LOW PERFORMANCE?

Eloise moaned as she pressed down on my cock, rubbing herself shamelessly against me until she was riding me. I clenched my teeth, keeping my arm braced behind my head, my other hand pinned on her hip to help guide her through.

She’s fucking immaculate.

I never thought I would be enticed by a snowblood experiencing delirium until Eloise. While they were grotesque to look at, she was a goddess I wanted to idolize with every bone in my body.

She has marked me not physically but in my soul, and she was all mine.

"That’s it, my little wife. Use me."

Angelic moans rang from her, her pace increasing, and the urge to slam my cock into her was too hard to withstand. But I did my best to control myself, allowing her what she needed to calm the intoxication.

Eloise whimpered violently, body trembling as she neared her release.

"Cum for me, love."

And she did, beautifully, before collapsing on top of me. I pulled the covers over us, ignoring my wood, and concentrated on making sure she got comfortable in my arms.

I pressed a kiss on her forehead and followed her to sleep.

I awoke in the middle of the night, monitoring Eloise for any changes, but there were none. This was the second time she’d taken my blood, and unlike the first time, it burned her internally even though it healed what it was meant to.

The second time wasn’t about healing her, it was soothing her thirst. But I was worried she would be in pain again, so I watched for any hint of it, but so far she was sleeping peacefully.

She was limp in my arms, her breath low and stable. The more I watched her, the more I couldn’t help the storm in my chest.

What am I going to do with you?

She had no idea what she had done to me or what I was willing to do for her. The lengths I would go to ensure that she stays by my side. I didn’t care about what she was; none of that mattered. The only thing that did was having her in my arms.

Daybreak came, the light streaming through the windows and touching everything, dousing it with colors. After a few more hours, Eloise began to stir, and a smile curled on my lips.

She groaned, sluggishly rubbing her cheek on my chest, and she moved her hip, and I lost my breath for a second.

Her chin rested on my chest, but her eyes remained closed. With a yawn, she went still again.

This is not a comfortable way to sleep. So I adjusted her carefully back into my arm, half of her body on the bed while the rest of her was on me.

I caressed her cheek, waiting until she stirred again, this time opening her eyes.

"Morning, my little wife."

"Drevon..." she mumbled, before she groaned in pain.

Panic filled me. "Are you alright?"

"It hurts."

"What hurt?"

She puffed her cheeks in annoyance. "My cunt. You broke it."

I snorted as amusement wrecked through me. "I’m sure I didn’t because I cleaned you up myself."

She sighed, closing her eyes. "I can feel it pulsing."

"Don’t worry, it’ll pass soon. I’ll have Osha make a brew for you."

Even though she had ingested my blood out of craving, it should have healed any discomfort. Maybe it did heal her, but rather slowly. This was another thing that made her different from the other snowbloods.

"It’s not like Talia’s brew," she muttered.

My gaze softened. "Do you miss her?"

"Yes," she replied, opening her eyes. "How is she?"

"By the goddess mercy, recovering."

"Have the worst past?"

I knew if I said yes, she would demand to see her. I don’t want Eloise to be in that position where she would watch someone she cared for get hurt because of her. I knew what it did to her and how she shut the rest of the world out, how she shut me out.

"Garrick is doing his best."

She sighed, and I stroked my thumb on her cheek.

"Shouldn’t you be at court?"

"I want to stay in bed with you all day."

Red colored her cheeks, spreading to her nose, making her look beyond adorable.

As if finally coming awake fully, she sat up.

"Careful," I said, following after her.

She snapped her gaze to me, lowering it to my body, before grabbing the sheet to expose me. Her mouth dropped when she found me naked.

"It did happen!" She gasped, lifting her wide eyes to me. "We fucked!"

I’m torn between amusement and wonder. I’ll settle for both because nothing could ever prepare me for this gorgeous creature.

"And I’m still alive!"

"Pardon?" I blinked.

"I’m still in one piece!" She huffed in disbelief, running her hands through her hair. "If I were told I would months ago, I would have rolled my eyes and yelled to the bloody gods. Seriously!"

So that’s what got her spirited. It made me wonder how humans presume we go about our intimacy. Given Eloise’s behavior, I say she was taught quite differently.

"You didn’t break me," she muttered, grinning ear to ear. "You were...gentle."

I leaned toward her. "Why so surprised, little wife?"

"Shouldn’t I be?" she came closer. "Fearing for my life was the last thing on my mind, but I assure you I did think of it." She poked my chest. "Or are you low in performance?"

"What?" My eyebrow furrowed.

"Oh, that explains it, that should, yes." She placed a hand beneath her chin.

I scoffed in disbelief. "You doubt my performance?"

"Oh, husband, I don’t. You were gentle, and that is unusual for a lycan, is it not?" she questioned.

I grasped her neck, and her entire body went still, my nose brushing against hers.

"I’ll fuck you anyway you want. Slow, gentle. If you want me to be rough or satisfy your desires in those books you read. Any thoughts in that pretty head of yours, then your wish is my command."
