Married For Now
Chapter 225: TO BE SEEN IS TO BE LOVED
CHAPTER 225: TO BE SEEN IS TO BE LOVED
SOHEE couldn’t eat his breakfast properly because he couldn’t help but stare at his beautiful new engagement ring.
"Hyung, say ’ah.’"
Sohee opened his mouth, and Kim Heedo carefully put a piece of tonkatsu inside.
Since he couldn’t eat properly, his husband decided to feed him.
For today’s breakfast, he asked the chef to make a simple dish for him: pork tonkatsu with rice, miso soup, and cabbage salad.
Kim Heedo just had coffee for breakfast, though.
"Hyung, do you like your new ring that much?" Kim Heedo asked, smiling. "You’re making me happy since I was the one who designed your new ring."
"That’s exactly why I love it," Sohee said, a stupid grin still plastered on his face. "I love that you know I prefer gold over silver, and that I prefer little diamond studs over the big ones. I loved my previous rings, but this one is the best. Thank you, Heedo-ya."
"Isn’t it a bare minimum for your partner to know your preference?"
"Heedo-ya, you’d be surprised by how many people out there don’t know their partner’s preference. I’ve read plenty of horror stories where women who are "gold girlies" were gifted silver jewelry by their partners despite wearing gold every day."
"Then they must be dating idiots. How can you date someone and not know that they prefer gold over silver?"
Right?
"I’m lucky that you pay attention to me, Heedo-ya," Sohee said, and then he laughed awkwardly. "But aren’t you paying too much attention to me when we already have babies?"
And their babies had new babysitters for today.
Hong Sera, Cho Euntak, Yang Jaewon, and Kwon Gaon were there to visit Sohee and his twin babies.
They bought a lot of delicious snacks for me, and useful stuff for the babies.
Yes, Sohee and Kim Heedo were being lovey-dovey in the presence of their friends.
They’re already used to it anyway.
"Hyung, if Heedo can’t fulfill his daddy duties, let us know," Yang Jaewon said teasingly. "We will help you raise Woochul and Woosung~"
Kwon Gaon nodded enthusiastically in agreement while Hong Sera and Cho Euntak giggled.
"Yah," Kim Heedo complained. "I can shower Sohee Hyung with affection and fulfill my father duties at the same time. We don’t need your help in raising our twins."
"It takes a village to raise a baby, you silly," Hong Sera said teasingly. "We can only hope that Woochul and Woosung inherited Sohee Oppa’s personality and not yours, Heedo-ya."
Aigoo.
They’re teasing my husband again.
"Sohee Hyung, it’s late, but congratulations on your engagement again," Cho Euntak said, smiling. "How are the preparations for your wedding going?"
It had been months since Sohee and Kim Heedo started planning their grand wedding.
I want to get married a little after I give birth, so we started planning for a grand wedding ceremony five months ago.
Yeah, that was around the time the two of them had made up.
"All the major things have been finalized already, so we’re almost done with the preparations," Sohee said excitedly. "After I get discharged, we’ll have my tailored suit adjusted to fit me."
There shouldn’t be much fixing to be done.
Plus, I realize that the more money you have, the easier and faster things are done.
Five months of preparations might have sounded too short for what would be a grand wedding.
But they had done a lot of things already in just one month, actually.
It also helps that my husband owns the hotel where our wedding ceremony will be held.
"I’ll give you the invitations later," Sohee added, smiling. He couldn’t stop smiling these days. "As usual, we’re not accepting gifts. But you have the option to donate to the charities that we support. We’ll appreciate it."
"Yes, Oppa."
"Yes, Hyung."
"Sohee Hyung, I’ve never seen you this excited before," Kim Heedo said, smiling as if he were as happy as Sohee was. "Had I known this wedding ceremony would make you this happy, then I would have proposed to you earlier."
"I’m happy not just because of our grand wedding, but because I feel like my life is already complete," Sohee said sincerely, making Kim Heedo teary-eyed all of a sudden. "Thank you for coming into my life, Heedo-ya."

WHEN Sohee woke up that afternoon, he caught Kim Heedo looking at their twin babies lovingly.
For the first time in a while, the room was quiet.
Heedo doesn’t let visitors in when I’m asleep.
That also meant Kim Heedo was the one who took care of Kim Woochul and Kim Woosung while Sohee was asleep.
And his husband did a good job because the twins were sleeping in their cribs peacefully.
"Honey is dripping from your eyes, Heedo-ya."
Kim Heedo turned to Sohee, and then he smiled— more honey dripping from his eyes this time. "Woochul and Woosung are so lovely, Hyung. I can’t believe that we, uh, made them."
Pfft.
That’s a funny way of saying it.
"Our babies are so cute that I want to put them in my pocket and carry them everywhere," Kim Heedo continued gushing over their twins. "I’m so happy, Hyung. Thank you for giving me wonderful children."
Sohee smirked arrogantly. "If you’re really grateful, then you should never change. You must treat me and our babies well for the rest of your life."
"Of course, Hyung. That’s the plan."
"Good."
"Are you hungry, Hyung?"
"No, I’m alright," Sohee said, and then he patted the space next to him. "Do you want to talk?"
"Yes, Hyung," Kim Heedo said, and then he sat next to Sohee. "I want to open a trust fund for Woochul and Woosung."
Oh, right.
This process is probably normal for my chaebol husband.
Kim Heedo, Kim Haewon, and Kim Hanhae were all trust fund babies.
And, now, my Woochul and Woosung would be trust fund babies, too.
"I’d also like to gift the twins twelve gold bars each annually as a birthday gift."
Sohee almost choked on his saliva. "Don’t you think it’s too much?"
"Not really, Hyung. You like gold, and it’s a good investment anyway."
Haaah.
It looks like my twins are going to be gold-obsessed as well.
"Let’s do that," Sohee said, and then he changed the topic before Kim Heedo ended up giving too many assets to their newborn babies. "I have something I want to ask, Heedo-ya."
Kim Heedo tilted his head to one side. "What is it, Hyung?"
"Can I see Jin Taejoon now?" Sohee said, cracking his knuckles. "I need to settle a score with that bastard."
