CHAPTER 139: CHAPTER 139: I WANT MY MRS. STERLING TO BE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BRIDE IN THE WORLD!

Retracting her gaze from afar, noticing Ethan Sterling still gazing at her, Seraphina Thorne gently raised her brows.

"Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Seraphina!" Ethan reached out his hands, cupping hers and pulling them to his chest, "I seriously want to apologize to you. I was too domineering before, thinking I was doing it for your own good, but ended up hurting you instead."

Seeing his earnest words, Seraphina instead felt a wave of guilt.

"Actually, I also had my faults. We both did, so let’s cancel each other out and not apologize anymore."

Seraphina lifted her face, smiling at him.

"In the future... let’s work together to make our relationship and marriage strong, okay?"

Holding her hands tightly, Ethan brought them to his lips and kissed them, nodding solemnly.

"Mm."

"Oh no!" Suddenly recalling something, Seraphina exclaimed, lifting her wrist to check the time, "Oh no, it’s almost eight, and I have a rehearsal with the troupe today."

Turning around, she hurried to the living room.

"Where’s my bag?"

"Here." Ethan handed her backpack to her, casually grabbing his coat from the rack, "Let’s go, I’ll drive you."

"No need, I drove Ivy’s car here."

"I drive faster than you." Ethan helped her adjust her scarf, "Give your husband a chance to show off?"

"Alright!" Seraphina laughed, "You drive me."

The two got into Ethan’s car together. As he started the car, he reached his right hand over, offering a keychain with a little rabbit to Seraphina.

"The house key, remember to take good care of it from now on."

Seraphina reached over, gripping the recovered key tightly in her hand. She turned her face to smile at him.

"Don’t worry, I will."

The car drove out of the villa complex, and Ethan’s phone rang from inside his coat.

Ethan, busy driving, said, "Honey, could you get the phone for me?"

Seraphina turned around, retrieving his phone from the coat he tossed on the back seat.

Ethan remained focused on driving, not looking at her.

"Answer it for me, just put it on speakerphone."

Seraphina answered the call, holding it in her hand, and put it on speaker, bringing it to his mouth.

"Is this Mr. Sterling? This is Xiao Wang from Melodia Instruments. Are you satisfied with the violin you bought from us last time?"

Melodia Instruments?

Isn’t that the shop where she sold her violin?

Ethan hadn’t anticipated this call from Melodia Instruments.

Instinctively, he glanced at Seraphina on the passenger seat, clearing his throat.

"I’m driving, not convenient right now, I’ll call you back later."

"Sorry about that, I’ll hang up for now then."

The call ended.

Seraphina withdrew the phone from Ethan’s mouth, pursing her lips.

"The violin I sold, you were the one who bought it?"

Caught out, Ethan smiled awkwardly.

"Honey, I know I shouldn’t have kept it from you. I was just afraid you wouldn’t use my money, so I didn’t dare tell you."

"So was it you who delivered the violin that night too?"

"I remember that your violin was a gift from your mom. You also said you hoped to perform with it at The Golden Hall one day, so I specially sent the violin to you."

"And the sponsorship for the Paganini competition, you arranged that too, didn’t you?"

Ethan hesitated a bit, "I..."

Seraphina: "I want to hear the truth."

Ethan bit his back teeth, speaking honestly.

"It was me, I knew your dad needed money for surgery, and seeing you run between the orchestra and tutoring was so tiring, I thought of this idea."

To give her money without hurting her pride, he put so much thought into it.

On the passenger seat, Seraphina lowered her head, her heart filled with emotion.

"Pull over."

Ethan glanced at Seraphina’s expression, "Honey, I know I was wrong, don’t be mad. Just let me park, and I’ll explain everything."

Finding a parking spot by the roadside, Ethan parked the car.

He turned his face, reaching out to grab her arm, looking tense.

"Honey, I know I shouldn’t have lied, could you forgive me just this once more?"

Seraphina raised her hand, holding his face, and leaned over to give a serious kiss on Ethan’s lips.

"I’m not angry, I just wanted to kiss you."

Actually, she wanted to say "thank you."

Knowing he didn’t like it, she turned that "thank you" into a kiss instead.

Seeing she wasn’t angry, Ethan let out a sigh of relief, wrapping his arms around her waist.

"I thought you were going to leave angry again, you scared the life out of me, you silly girl!"

Hearing his anxious voice, Seraphina raised her face with a laugh.

"Ethan, am I really that important to you?"

"What do you think?" Ethan gazed at her sincerely for a moment, reaching over with his right hand to caress her face, "Let’s go, buckle up, I’ll take you to rehearsal first."

Ethan continued driving, and Seraphina buckled her seatbelt, watching him drive from the side.

The man had a striking face, and his focused gaze made him even more charming.

Despite knowing each other for quite a while, she still felt her heart flutter for him.

Watching Ethan’s profile, Seraphina’s mood couldn’t help but be a little puzzled.

When she sold the violin, they had just gotten married.

He probably hadn’t developed feelings for her yet, so why would he be helping her back then?

Could it have been just out of pity?

Unknowingly, the car arrived outside the concert hall for the orchestra’s performance.

Ethan parked by the curb, personally getting out to open Seraphina’s door.

Standing before her, he carefully tidied her long hair.

"Honey, have you been busy lately? When can you spare some time to travel abroad with me?"

"In a few days, I’m invited to attend the Paganini recital, so I’ll be going to Elysia, and there’ll be a few days off." Seraphina looked curious, "Is there something up?"

"Not really, I just want to spend a few good days with you, and then we can use the time to look at wedding dresses. Which designer’s work do you like? I’ll have Sean Hale contact them."

Seraphina was a bit stunned, "Wedding dress?"

"Exactly!" Ethan held her hands, "We’ll prepare everything first, then once your dad is discharged and your brother is out, we’ll have a proper wedding, okay?"

Gazing into his eyes, Seraphina saw a tiny reflection in his pupils.

It was her reflection!

At this moment, his eyes were filled only with her.

Seraphina nodded gently, "Okay!"

Ethan joyfully embraced her, "Then it’s settled! I’ll get Sean to contact the designer right away, and they’ll design several options for you to choose from..."

"Actually, these things aren’t important." Seraphina smiled as she hugged his shoulders, "We don’t need to be too lavish, just something simple will do."

"Everything else can be simple, but not the wedding dress." Ethan curved his lips, "I want my Mrs. Sterling to be the most beautiful bride in the world!"
