Chapter 95 - 095: Relationship Exposed! Gwen Is Furious! Wanda Is Doomed!
CHAPTER 95: CHAPTER 095: RELATIONSHIP EXPOSED! GWEN IS FURIOUS! WANDA IS DOOMED!
After finishing the bread and settling the bill, Lorien turned to Wanda and gestured for her to take the lead.
"Wanda, you can be our guide for this afternoon’s sightseeing."
Wanda hesitated. "But..."
She was worried she might not choose a good route, and everyone would end up bored.
Lorien, knowing exactly what she was thinking, spoke before she could continue.
"We don’t know this town either. You can take us anywhere—it doesn’t matter. Even if we waste this afternoon, we still have all of tomorrow. And if that’s still not enough, we can just come back next week."
Wanda thought about it, then nodded. "Alright, leave it to me."
Gwen and Hela had no objections. Neither of them was particularly fond of the place—one simply didn’t care, and the other had learned Lorien’s habit of not giving a damn.
So the three followed Wanda, who seemed genuinely interested in the natural scenery.
Wanda led the way by instinct. First, they arrived at the crossroads in the center of town. She studied the signpost, then pointed toward an area near a dirt hill.
"Let’s go there."
"Lead the way," Lorien said with a wave.
The four walked on, chatting as they went. Along the way, they passed a fruit stand and bought some to snack on as they strolled.
They headed toward the edge of town—this time to the opposite side from where they had arrived earlier.
As they walked, two figures appeared from the direction of the town’s edge.
Lorien looked up. Oh? It was the black neighbor woman again, along with another male agent—Jimmy.
This town really was small. People you’d met before could cross paths with you again just by walking a bit.
Lorien saw them, and they saw him.
Geraldine forced a smile, waving as she greeted, "403. Hi, what a coincidence. Where are you headed?"
Knowing they were agents, Wanda didn’t bother hiding anything.
"To the hills outside town," she replied casually.
"Oh! The scenery there is beautiful." Geraldine’ eyes lit up as she pointed in that direction. "There’s a grove of flowering trees in full bloom right now. You should definitely go—it’s stunning."
Hearing that, Wanda smiled in thanks. "Thanks, we’ll head over now."
With that, and after a normal, friendly exchange, the group continued on their way out of town.
Only after watching Lorien and the others leave did Geraldine let out a long breath.
Jimmy frowned slightly. "They’re just going to enjoy the scenery?"
He found it hard to believe. Such a powerful group coming all this way just to sightsee? That didn’t make sense. Scarlet Witch, an Asgardian, and Spider-Woman—together, only the Avengers could match them. And now they were wandering off to look at flowers?
Geraldine noticed his unease. "So what do we do?"
She was hesitant as well, but felt that at the very least, they needed to get to know each other.
Jimmy thought for a moment. "I think we should talk to them. Strictly speaking, we’re on friendly terms—we all work for the safety of the city. This town is no different."
Geraldine considered this and agreed. "Alright, we’ll talk to them later."
...
On the other side, Lorien and the others had already reached the flower fields.
"Wow~~~" x3
Gwen, Wanda, and Hela were all awestruck by the beauty before them. The endless rows of blossoming trees were breathtaking, and the petals scattered across the ground gave the place a dreamy, almost otherworldly feel.
Hela ran straight into the sea of flowers, the blossoms and grass reaching from her knees up to her thighs. Her Lolita dress brushed against the blooms, making her look every bit the picture of a fairytale princess from afar—a real, living princess.
Gwen scooped up a handful of petals and took a deep breath. "Ah, it smells so good!"
Wanda did the same, then walked over to Lorien with a bright smile, holding the petals out for him.
"Here, smell."
Lorien leaned in and inhaled. The scent was light—just right. Not so strong that it became overwhelming, but not so faint that it was unnoticeable. It carried a gentle, refreshing fragrance.
The more Gwen inhaled, the more familiar the scent seemed to her.
"This smells like a perfume my mom used to have."
"I think it was Chanel—really expensive. She could barely bring herself to use it, but the scent is almost identical."
Hearing that, Lorien grabbed another handful of petals and took a deep breath.
"Then it’s very possible this flower is the source of that perfume."
Many luxury perfumes are, in fact, made from extracts of flower petals. The process is both time-consuming and costly, which is why such perfumes are so expensive. Only high-end brands use these old-fashioned methods as a selling point—then jack up the price to make a fortune.
By now, Wanda had used her magic to pull out a large, thin blanket. She spread it out under a beautiful tree and said,
"Let’s sit here and rest for a bit while we talk."
Lorien’s eyes lit up. He gave her a thumbs-up.
"Perfect, Wanda. Very thoughtful of you."
The three of them settled down under the tree. Wanda adjusted her clothes and sat to one side. Lorien glanced at her, then sat nearby and lowered his head right onto her lap.
As the back of his head rested against her soft thighs, Lorien let out a satisfied sigh.
"Ah... so comfortable~"
Wanda didn’t object in the slightest. Instead, she reached down, brushed the hair from his forehead, and planted a kiss there.
Gwen, seeing this, couldn’t help blurting out enviously, "I want that too!"
Her words made both Lorien and Wanda laugh. Lorien opened his eyes and looked at her.
"You wish. Wanda’s only got one pair of legs—and they’re mine."
Gwen folded her arms, studied them for a moment, and said, "Then I’ll sleep on your legs."
She promptly lay down, resting her head against his thigh.
Hela, who had been lying on her stomach nearby, saw the three of them crowded together and decided she wanted in. She scooted over and laid her head right on Lorien’s stomach.
The end result? The four of them were now arranged like a giant character: a horizontal bar on top for Wanda, Lorien as the vertical line in the middle, and Gwen and Hela as the arms on either side.
Perfect.
Lorien lay there, perfectly at ease on Wanda’s lap, enjoying the bliss of a knee pillow while the gentle breeze brushed his cheeks. No one spoke. They were all simply soaking in the peace of nature.
Wanda glanced around and saw that everyone’s eyes were closed. She looked down, finding Lorien’s face right beneath her. Lowering her head, her long hair spilled forward, and Lorien felt a faint, cool tickle.
He instantly knew it was Wanda—and responded in kind.
The two quickly lost themselves in a quiet, heated moment.
Tsk.
Gwen, lying on Lorien’s legs, froze when she heard the sound. Lifting her head, she peeked at the source.
Oh, she knew exactly what was going on. Wanda’s hair just happened to block the view, but that didn’t fool her.
"Ahem!"
Gwen gave a couple of pointed coughs.
At the sound, Wanda reluctantly broke away from Lorien, tucking her hair behind her ear before flashing Gwen a teasing smile. To make matters worse, she mischievously brushed her fingers at the corner of her mouth.
Gwen’s temper flared. She glared at Wanda, then rolled over as if to take Lorien into her own embrace right there in Wanda’s lap.
Wanda was startled, quickly cupping Gwen’s head with both hands.
"Move!"
"No."
"Why can you do it but I can’t?"
"You—"
"If you don’t move, I’ll do it tonight in front of you!"
"..."
Now Wanda was stuck. If she didn’t let go, would she really have to watch that happen later? But if she did, they’d be doing this right in her lap.
Before she could decide, something caught her eye—the two people from earlier were walking toward them.
"Those two agents are coming," Wanda blurted.
"I don’t believe you!" Gwen was still fuming, refusing to budge.
"It’s true, I’m not lying." Wanda tilted Gwen’s head toward them. "See? They’re right there."
Gwen followed her gaze. Sure enough—it was the same two agents.
"Guess you got lucky," she muttered, sitting up at last.
Lorien, however, made no move to get up, remaining comfortably sprawled where he was.
Moments later, Geraldine and Jimmy arrived. Without hesitation, they produced their identification.
"We’re agents from SWORD. Sorry for keeping it under wraps earlier."
That’s what they said, but the sight before them left them momentarily stunned—Lorien lying on the lap of the Scarlet Witch herself.
One of the most powerful superheroes alive, and here she was, practically doting on him like a servant.
Was this for real?
Wanda didn’t seem to care. She gave them a polite nod.
"Hello."
Then she reached down and pressed her hand gently against Lorien’s shoulder.
"This is my partner."
Gwen’s eyes widened. She immediately turned around, looked at them both, and said,
"He’s my partner too!"
That did it.
The two women’s words completely fried the brains of the SWORD agents.
If they’d been high-ranking officers, maybe they could have guessed that Lorien Su had some sort of relationship with both women. But these two were just ordinary field agents—they knew nothing.
Both SWORD and SHIELD kept their intel heavily compartmentalized, and any speculative files linking Lorien with the Scarlet Witch and Gwen were way above their clearance.
Even so, even if SWORD did have such intel, Gwen and Wanda openly revealing their relationship right here was top-tier gossip—two superheroes in love with the same man. And not just any superheroes, but two of the most powerful ones.
No way this wouldn’t cause an explosion inside the agency.
It took the two agents a long moment to recover, but Lorien had no interest in being dragged into this kind of conversation. Still lounging on Wanda’s lap, he waved a hand dismissively.
"If you’ve got something to say, say it. Then go back to your own work."
Geraldine and Jimmy exchanged a look, then Geraldine asked, "We just wanted to know your reason for being here."
She quickly added, "This place is... a little strange. We’re investigating too."
Jimmy nodded in agreement. "Sorcerers disappear here from time to time. We were ordered to look into it."
Lorien already knew all this. It had nothing to do with him, and he had no intention of getting involved.
"You can head back," he said flatly. "We came here for sightseeing—and to retrieve something. Neither concerns you. If we end up helping you, that’ll be your luck."
Wanda and Gwen nodded in unison, making it clear they stood by Lorien’s words.
Geraldine knew the conversation was over. She quickly thanked them, then pulled Jimmy away.
...
Once they were far enough, Geraldine patted her chest and let out a long breath.
"I still can’t believe it—two incredibly powerful Avengers and superheroes, both in love with the same man. That’s insane! It might not have practical value, but when we upload this, the intel center’s jaws are going to drop."
Jimmy nodded, though his thoughts went further.
"I need to find a chance to talk to that man," he said with a sigh. "He must be a god."
As a man, if you see some ugly guy with a gorgeous wife—and another woman—you think the world is unfair. But if you learn he’s actually a hidden powerhouse, you stop thinking it’s unfair and start thinking the guy is a legend.
He had to be insanely capable, radiating male charm from every angle—money, power, looks, charisma, physique, eloquence, skills... Jimmy was convinced Lorien had all of it. How else could he have two top-tier superheroes—both at the very top in combat power—wrapped around his finger?
...
Back in the flower grove, once the agents had left, Gwen immediately turned to glare at Wanda.
But Wanda quickly covered Lorien’s mouth with her hand, the meaning clear—not when he’s in my arms.
"Fine," Gwen huffed, nodding sharply before turning away in a sulk.
That gave Wanda a sudden pang of unease. She had a bad feeling about tonight.
"Hm?"
Lorien, on the other hand, was wondering why Hela had been so quiet. He turned his head and spotted her off in the distance, darting through the flowers like a little sprite, chasing butterflies.
Watching her fail to catch any, Lorien called out teasingly, "Why don’t you just use your divine power, Hela?"
"If I use my divine power, that means I’ve lost!" she shouted back. "I’m going to catch it with my bare hands!"
Nice in theory... but they spent the whole afternoon talking in the grove, and she still didn’t return with a butterfly.
"Aaah!"
Finally, Lorien heard her frustrated cry. He turned to see her snatch a butterfly with divine power, grab it, then toss it away with a huff.
"Got you. Now scram!"
Lorien couldn’t hold back a laugh.
Hela trudged back, worn out from playing. By now, the sky was starting to darken. Lorien stood, brushing himself off.
"Let’s head back. Tomorrow, we’ll go for the Darkhold. If things go smoothly, we can play a bit after that, then head home tomorrow night."
No objections there—everyone agreed.
Wanda packed up the blanket and led a tired Hela toward home. Lorien and Gwen strolled behind them at an easy pace.
Then Gwen tugged on Lorien’s sleeve.
"Hm?" He glanced at her with a questioning hum.
"Shhh..." Gwen leaned close to his ear and whispered, "Tonight, I... you... then take care of Wanda..."
Lorien’s eyes widened, his expression lighting up. "You’re sure?"
"Definitely." Gwen arched a brow. "We’ll handle her first, then let her rest quietly to the side." She enunciated the last four words with deliberate emphasis—making her intent crystal clear.
Cruel? Yes. Tempting? Even more so.
And since Gwen was the one arranging it, Lorien saw no reason to say no. "No problem."
He held out his hand. Gwen slapped it with a crisp smack.
The sound made Wanda glance back. "What was that?"
"Nothing," they both said in perfect unison.
Wanda studied them suspiciously. Something felt off... but she couldn’t put her finger on it.
Forget it—better to just get home. She’d been walking all day and was starting to feel tired.
