The end of the meeting did not end the work or the presence of all the representatives within the Genesis building. That included the party.

There were offices that many representatives used whenever they could since it was the best place to file paperwork for various purposes. The projects that had just been discussed was one specific example that could take priority here so that everyone would be able to make progress faster.

This was exactly why Walker was able to see the documents about the floating cities that the angels had rebuilt and how some of the smaller twists were already successful.

From what Walker was reading, it was the basic repairs to the two major floating cities that had taken the most benefits so far. They had been repaired to the point that they were not able to move slowly across the sky of the sigil continent. There was also the benefit that they could utilize some of the smaller and weaker defensive magic shields that they used to be able to create using wind magic rune formations.

The rune formations could produce a gale of wind that allowed for arrows or other flying attacks to be deflected or weakened. Just that alone protected from larger storms that carried hail or powerful winds in general. It also kept any tornados that might occur in the area of the floating cities from throwing debris in to the city and harming people. This was already an amazing repair that helped the angel race as a whole.

However, the interesting parts of the document that Walker focused on were the fallen cities that the angels were reclaiming.

These cities had been left because they had fallen and were considered historical sites not to be damaged or disrespected. Hence why it was a big deal that the angels were willing to work to allow researchers in to them. Now though, they were working with those researchers and had successfully brought small orbiting facilities back in to the sky.

It seemed to Walker that the angels had not been entirely honest with how the floating cities used to exist. There seemed to have once been storage areas and even small look out towers that house soldiers at one point orbiting each floating city. This was how the larger floating cities were able to go to battle when they traveled the continents and also how they survived the onslaught from other races as a whole.

The idea that Walker had to be able to make floating greenhouses with their own unique uses had not been far off what should be possible. It also made more sense that the angels would be willing to combine the dark dome project because it would actually fit in to what the floating islands could actually create. The only issue was something that seemed to be a bit more challenging.

The fallen city that Walker had been to before and was the core of what the angels were working on right now was underground. It was partially collapsed and the rune formations were inactive. No effort so far had allowed for the angels to get to the core and see what needed to be done to make more progress.

The idea was that once this city was better prepared to float, then the smaller orbiting islands could be converted or there could be a better way to study the connections and how to create new smaller floating islands that would be ideal for what the dark dome project had in mind. This was all with the fact that the dark dome would not be singular, there would be elemental islands for farming materials and storage prepared for times of need and better production as a whole while keeping the actual lands free for people to live and thrive on.

He also viewed the notes on potential herbs gathered by the echidna that would benefit from isolation up in the sky. Some herbs needed the dark mana from night but also closer proximity to the light mana of stars. Others needed the constant wind mana that would be found higher in the air. Regardless, this was proving to be a more well developed plan than expected.

Besides this, there was the fact that the second Genesis city was being built rapidly. The underground section had been finished in structure by the hard work of many including Terron. He also knew very well that those efforts were also to ensure that some of the earth wyverns would have a safe home there since they had taken an important step as their own race and needed a place where their young could grow while cooperating with Genesis and the races of Genesis.

The speed of the buildings came down to the readily available materials on the Sigil continent. Tears of decreasing population in the angels and the fact that the other races living there were few in number or also struggling led to growth in monsters and also the natural resources like wood for building. The downsides that could have been spoken in the time were not some of the upsides for everyone working to build and create a better future.

This was also considering that there were the elemental teleportation rune formations allowing for better trade and movement to some of the harder to reach locations on the continent that had been explored again. Along with the dungeons, explorations and the new building of small magic towers. This was even supported in the mapping orbs sent to travelers making even better maps for everyone at this point. Something that brought great comfort in this age of exploration and growth.

With a deep breath, Walker handed a waiting attendant a stack of papers he had added notes to, written entirely, and even some requests to be prepared for when he moved to the Sigil continent. He wanted to be prepared as best as he could so he had a few stops to go to before he left for there.

The rest of the party was busy, but he didn't mind. They were working hard and were just as happy to be home as he was. So as Walker stepped outside the Genesis building and made his way to the wandering blacksmith's workshop to leave materials, he was not surprised to see a group of younger soldiers preparing for the visit of the leaders, mostly demi-humans though since they knew their king would be arriving.

King Rorick was a powerful king that had gained more than just a title. He was a leader with strength able to fight beside and above his generals. He proved that in combat within the coliseums and he would be very excited to see his people and the other races meeting and fighting within the coliseum. Just the announcement about the visit and how some would be welcomed to the demi-human capital city for more training and sharing of battle techniques was enough to bring everyone who wished to grow as a fighter there.

The reason that Walker was connecting the wandering blacksmith and the visit of the demi-human king and officials was easy to sniff out. Blacksmiths and anyone who could make weapons and armor would be caught with tons of orders for better everything before the small tournament with promising young elites. Simply because they would see this as their best opportunity to stand taller compared to everyone else around them. They could grow much faster and go much further with this victory.

Unsurprisingly, Walker found a line of people waiting who saw him and appeared somewhat shocked. Although they just watched him enter the workshop, it was clear that they expected to see some sort of commotion later related to new items or maybe the fact that he too might be crafting something with the wandering blacksmith.

"I see you are busy as always. I thought you would be working on one of the floating islands or the flying ships right now." Walker greeted the wandering blacksmith who was polishing the blade of a saber. The saber seemed to be wind elemental in nature and had smaller runes carved on it that allowed for the gathering and coating of wind mana over it.

"I brought you a few materials from the elemental planes that I want to leave with you. Some of them can't be brought out unless in an isolated elemental space though so we will need to go to the crafting guild where they have the best places set up." Walker saw a small nod. It seemed the wandering blacksmith was listening. He also appeared to expect to need to head there to do some work since there were elemental furnaces built there now. Along with elemental rune formations to hold quality of delicate materials until they could be used.

What Walker also focused on were the accessories he saw that the wandering blacksmith had made.
