Merchant Crab
Merchant Crab is now live on Kindle and Audible!
Merchant Crab is finally live on Amazon, both as an ebook and audiobook!
The narration is done by the amazing Johnathan McClain, whom you might know as the voice of The Mayor of Noobtown, Ultimate Level 1
, Big Sneaky Barbarian, and about 300 other works, and I am beyond excited to share his amazing performance on Merchant Crab with everyone.
I am also excited to hear what everyone thinks of the full version of book 1 available here, with professional editing and an extended, never-before-seen epilogue full of funny extra scenes to tie events between book 1 and 2. I probably had the most fun writing those scenes out of the over 600,000 words I already put into MC, and I hope you guys enjoy them just as much or more!
A lot of time, work, and sleepless nights have gone into finally making this happen, and I really hope some of you will check out the polished version on Amazon even if you've already read through the old version here on Royal Road, or perhaps listen to it this time. Seriously, Johnathan's delivery is so good, and I could not be happier with his take on my silly tale and its characters.
In fact, if you want a sneak peek, check out this short clip from chapter 1:
If you find this story on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the infringement.
If you enjoy Balthazar's adventures and would like to help me keep this dream going, you should know that even just borrowing the book on Kindle Unlimited and reading about 10-20% of it helps with the sales rating, so you would be helping tremendously, for free, and I'd be eternally grateful.
And of course, rating it—or even better, reviewing it—would mean the world to me, as that is the metric by which these books thrive or die. If you're one of the wonderful readers who have enjoyed this crabby tale in the past two and a half years and you can spare a couple of minutes leaving a review on my book (or really, any other you enjoy too), please do, because it truly makes a difference to us authors.
I know that a lot of you will still not be in a position where you can do any of the above, for whatever reason, be it financial or some other, and that's fine. You can still help for free even if it doesn't seem like it, by just spreading the word. Whether it's simply by telling about this funny book you know to a friend you think might enjoy it, or posting about it on things like reddit, Facebook, or any other reading groups you are in. There is no better promotion than word of mouth, and if this story has brought you some entertainment, let others know by recommending it!
The story will continue here on RR as usual, where I am close to finishing book 3 and soon to get started on book 4, so whether you continue reading here, or decide to check it out on Amazon or Audible, just know that I truly appreciate every single one of you who helped this silly crab make it this far. You are all truly wonderful! 🦀
