Izuku went back home, the afternoon sun spilling warm light through the windows as he stepped inside. The faint smell of miso soup drifted from the kitchen, but before he could take off his shoes, he spotted his mom standing in the hallway, hands clasped together, eyes wide with anticipation.

"How did it go?" Inko asked, her voice carrying that unmistakable mix of worry and excitement only a mother could have.

"I won't receive my results for a week, Mom," he replied calmly, slipping his shoes off and setting them neatly aside. "But I know I passed."

Her shoulders relaxed a little, but then her lips curled into a mischievous smile.

"Oh, well, I guess I'll wait a week before I post you on my Facebook page for all my followers," she teased, already reaching for her phone. "I call myself The Green Saber. I sent you a friend request, but you never accepted it—why?" she asked, giving him an exaggerated pout.

Izuku blinked, staring at her for a moment before deadpanning, "…Green Saber. That's why."

He brushed past her toward his room, leaving Inko frozen for a second before she chuckled to herself.

As he walked down the hall, he shoved his hands in his pockets, his mind wandering.

'Green Saber… Reminds me of GTA San Andreas. I should download it now that I think about it.'

[U.A. High School – Faculty Meeting Room]

The long oval table was stacked with papers, screens, and steaming mugs of coffee. Sunlight poured in through the tall windows, but the atmosphere in the room was sharp with focus.

Present Mic leaned back in his chair, shades glinting under the lights.

"YEEEEAH, sooooo… I don't say this often, but that kid? That Izuku Midoriya? Dude's got style. Clean, efficient, and didn't hog every villain for himself."

Midnight tapped her pen against her folder with a smirk. "Not to mention, he scored ridiculously high without going overboard. I've seen plenty of top scorers before, but most of them accidentally sabotage the other examinees. He managed to keep the robots down while leaving opportunities for others to score. That's… impressive control."

Cementoss nodded, flipping through the exam footage on a tablet. "His destructive power is notable as well—especially his strike on the Zero Pointer. Minimal collateral damage given the sheer force he used. If he hadn't angled the hit downward, we'd be picking robot parts out of the stands."

At the head of the table, Nezu steepled his paws together, eyes bright with curiosity. "Yes, yes… remarkable restraint for someone his age. The most interesting part to me is that he didn't even seem to be at his limit. He hit his point goal, then stopped early."

Ectoplasm frowned. "Which means either he calculated his score in advance or… he's hiding how strong he really is."

"Maybe he's just humble," Snipe said from across the table. "Not every powerhouse is an attention hog."

Midnight chuckled under her breath. "Oh, he's not humble. Did you see the way girl looked at him after the rescue? That boy knows exactly what he's doing."

All Might, sitting quietly at the far end, kept his gaze on the table. His mind replayed that single punch on the Zero Pointer. The power, the form, the control—it stirred something in him.

"…That strength. That speed. It's familiar," he muttered to himself, almost too low for the others to hear.

Nezu's ears twitched. "Familiar, All Might?"

All Might waved it off, forcing a smile. "Just reminds me of someone I knew long ago. That's all."

Power Loader scratched his chin. "Either way, he's a clear top candidate. His academic scores are strong, physical performance is exceptional, and he worked well in the chaos without needing orders."

Nezu's smile widened. "Then it's settled. Midoriya will join Class 1-A. I'm quite eager to see how he develops…"

The conversation drifted to other examinees, but the name Izuku Midoriya lingered in the air, carrying with it the weight of high expectations.

[One Week Later ]

Izuku had the acceptance letter from U.A. folded neatly in his pocket, but he didn't even need to look at it anymore—Inko had already announced it to the world. She'd gone straight to her Facebook page, posting.

"Proud Mama Moment: My boy is going to U.A.! 💚✨ #GreenSaberMom" alongside a picture of the two of them.

'I pray that doesn't backfire one day,' Izuku thought as he leaned against the doorframe, watching her hit "post."

'But then again, if they did try something with her… this would turn into Injustice real quick.'

Before he could slip back into his room, Inko's phone rang. Mitsuki Bakugo name flashed on the screen. Within minutes, plans were made, and now they were in a cab heading toward Katsuki's house.

The reason for the invitation? Izuku wasn't exactly sure. Well… maybe he had an idea.

For the past few days, he and Mitsuki had been exchanging messages—playful teasing, subtle flirting. Nothing serious, but enough to make the air between them… different. She'd even sent him a photo one night, wearing a silky nightdress that clung to her in all the right places, captioned

"About to sleep, night~".

He'd responded with a casual ab pic. Her reply took over an hour. He knew exactly why.

Now, standing outside the Katsuki residence, Izuku looked over the neighborhood he grew up in—or at least, partially grew up in. Memories of childhood scraps with Katsuki, playground dares, and after-school walks passed through his mind.

The front door opened. Mitsuki stepped out with a bright smile, hugging Inko first. When her eyes met Izuku's, she gave him a quick wink. His smirk was almost instant.

"The thing is," she began, her voice warm,

"I wanted us to celebrate how both our sons got accepted. So that's why I invited you two. My husband won't be home tonight. Also, Bakugo's out with his friends for now, but he'll be back later."

"Well, thank you for inviting us. Now, let the party begin! It's a good thing I brought snacks. Let me go get them from the car," Inko said, hurrying back outside.

The moment the door shut behind her, the energy in the hallway shifted.

Mitsuki leaned casually against the wall, her eyes traveling up and down before settling on his face.

"You look prettier than ever," Izuku said as he stepped closer, lowering his voice.

"Thank you… and you look as dashing as the last time I saw you," she replied without missing a beat.

"I mean, not much time has passed," he said with a grin, "but… what were you doing with the picture I sent you? Took a while to reply."

Her eyes darted away, a blush creeping into her cheeks. "Nothing. I was… busy with laundry that day."

"Oh, makes sense. Guess you had to hang all those 'wet' clothes, at night" he said, letting the word linger.

She chuckled, then slowly placed her hand against his chest—fingers lightly brushing over his shirt. "You could say that…"

Izuku was about to reply when he heard his mom's footsteps approaching. His smirk deepened. "We'll continue this some other time, I guess."

He stepped back, strolling casually into their living room just as Inko walked in with a bag of snacks and a case of beer.

Mitsuki turned toward her friend like nothing happened, but the faint pink on her cheeks gave her away.

Izuku sank into the couch, relaxed, crossing one leg over the other.

'Things are going great,' he thought, a small, knowing smile tugging at the corner of his lips.
