Ma Rufei almost fainted. "You can add one more, for a total of four," he said in frustration.

After ending the call, a triumphant expression spread across Zhang Bin’s face.

Having a tycoon for a disciple is great.

Suddenly, the sound of screeching brakes came from outside. To his surprise, it was Liu Ruomei, pulling up in her police car.

She didn’t get out, simply yelling, "Zhang Bin, come out! I need to talk to you."

Zhang Bin walked out and asked, bewildered, "Sister Mei, what are you doing here at this hour?"

"Get in the car. It’s urgent," Liu Ruomei said.

Zhang Bin opened the passenger door and slid inside.

Liu Ruomei sped off, heading to a secluded spot.

She got out of the car, pulled a pack of women’s cigarettes from her pocket, drew one out, lit it, and took a deep drag.

Zhang Bin, who had also gotten out, rushed over, snatched the cigarette from her hand, and snapped, "Who said you could smoke? Don’t you know smoking is a man’s prerogative?"

"Give it back," Liu Ruomei said coldly.

She was clearly in a foul mood.

"No smoking. It gives you bad breath, and that makes kissing unpleasant." Zhang Bin threw the cigarette on the ground and stomped it out.

"You want to kiss me?" Liu Ruomei asked flatly.

Zhang Bin’s eyes widened, his face a mask of shock. He suddenly understood. The reason Liu Ruomei had always guarded her sister so fiercely from him was likely because of her miraculous telepathic empathy. While he had enjoyed a night of bliss and Liu Ruolan had reached the pinnacle of happiness, Liu Ruomei had been suffering in agony.

"Well? Tell me what I should do!" Liu Ruomei roared at him.

"Uh, why don’t you just get a boyfriend?" Zhang Bin said, frustrated.

"Let me tell you something. I’m not interested in any man. The only one I’ve ever admired is the Rabbit King. But the meeting I just went to? The entire topic was about how to capture the Rabbit King. So tell me, isn’t my life just tragic?" she fumed.

"Is the Diao Clan making a move?" Zhang Bin asked warily.

"Isn’t it obvious? Of course, the Diao Clan has a hand in it," Liu Ruomei said, rolling her eyes at him. "But as long as the Rabbit King isn’t exposed, we’ll be safe."

"We still need to be careful," Zhang Bin said solemnly.

"I’m not here to discuss how to deal with the Diao Clan. I’m asking you how to solve this problem of me wanting a man," Liu Ruomei demanded.

"Why don’t you just become my woman too?" Zhang Bin blurted out.

"You bastard!" Liu Ruomei stomped her foot.

Sensing he had a chance, Zhang Bin boldly pulled her into his arms, breathing deeply of her intoxicating scent.

Liu Ruomei’s pretty face flushed crimson, and her beautiful eyes grew hazy with desire. Her body went soft, making her unsteady on her feet.

Further encouraged, Zhang Bin lowered his head to kiss her lush, tempting red lips. But before he could make contact, Liu Ruomei snapped back to her senses and stomped hard on his foot.

"AHH!" Zhang Bin cried out, his face twitching in pain.

Liu Ruomei seized the opportunity to break free. "Serves you right!" she said with a sly smile.

"You’re too cruel! I was just trying to help you solve your problem, and this is how you treat me?" Zhang Bin said, his face a mask of grievance.

"Was that your way of solving my problem? Or were you just taking advantage of me?" Liu Ruomei’s expression turned stern.

"But this is the only way to solve the problem. Didn’t you come to see me hoping I’d do this?" Zhang Bin said. He kept the last part to himself, though, fearing she would fly into a rage out of shame and anger.
