CHAPTER 66: CHAPTER 0066 KICKING HALL_1
The setting sun was like blood, its glow cast upon the gate of the Longyin Martial Arts Hall, bathing it in a crimson hue.
It seemed to be a grim omen.
And so it was. Dressed in black Samurai Garb, Turen Xiong, flanked by Zuo Haonan, Teng Qianzhang, and Teng Xiaofeng, strode to the entrance of the martial arts hall.
A sinister smile spread across Turen Xiong’s face as he suddenly drew his sword. Leaping high into the air, he slashed down with the speed of lightning.
CRACK! CRACK!
The plaque of the Longyin Martial Arts Hall shattered into fragments of all sizes, raining down from above.
With a casual flick of his hand, Turen Xiong unleashed a gust of wind. The fragments turned into deadly projectiles, embedding themselves in the walls with a series of THWACKS.
In an instant, the wall was riddled with holes.
A few passersby saw this, and their eyes nearly popped out of their sockets in shock.
The two security guards at the door were so frightened they scrambled away, tumbling over each other in their haste.
They had never witnessed such a powerful master.
"Hahaha... Longyin Martial Arts Hall, there is no longer any need for you to exist."
Turen Xiong roared with laughter. He kicked one of the security guards aside and, gripping his sword, strode inside with palpable killing intent.
"HEH HEH HEH... Zhang Bin, let’s see how you die this time."
Teng Qianzhang, Teng Xiaofeng, and Zuo Haonan all burst into arrogant laughter.
This time, they had paid a hefty sum of five million to hire Turen Xiong, an outcast from the Iron Sword Sect. He was a true master of the Martial World, a ruthless strongman.
How could a wet-behind-the-ears youth like Zhang Bin possibly compare?
SWOOSH...
Hearing the commotion, Tian Bingbing hurried out, followed by several instructors and numerous students.
"Has the Longyin Martial Arts Hall offended you in any way?" Tian Bingbing demanded furiously.
The hall had been under her management ever since she graduated from college, as its master, Tian Guangjin, had joined the army as an instructor. He generally only returned once a month.
That was why Tian Bingbing had always been worried about a master challenging the hall. It was the very reason she had gone to such great lengths to hire a genius like Zhang Bin.
Unexpectedly, someone still came to challenge them. This was despite having a genius like Zhang Bin as the chief instructor and even after holding a banquet for all the nearby Martial World masters.
"Cut the crap. Get Zhang Bin out here to face his death," Turen Xiong snarled, a chilling murderous aura erupting from him.
"Who are you?"
Tian Bingbing was secretly alarmed, for she could feel the man’s immense power.
"Turen Xiong!" he said coldly.
"Turen Xiong? Why have you come to challenge our hall? The Longyin Martial Arts Hall has not offended you!" Tian Bingbing said angrily.
"Zhang Bin is ruthless. He crippled my brother Teng Qianzhang’s Cultivation Level right here in your hall. How could I possibly let him go?" Turen Xiong stated sanctimoniously.
"Hurry up and bring Zhang Bin out, or all of you will be crippled!" Teng Qianzhang added, his voice dripping with malice.
Without another word, Zuo Haonan attacked, sending several instructors flying with a flurry of kicks.
Tian Bingbing moved to intervene, but Turen Xiong’s sword shot out like lightning, stopping just before her throat. The Sword Qi was so sharp it pierced her skin, drawing a trickle of blood.
"Woman, if you want to live, get Zhang Bin over here," Turen Xiong roared with a vicious expression.
A sudden chill ran down Tian Bingbing’s spine, and her face turned deathly pale.
The many instructors and students of the hall were all seething with rage.
But faced with their opponent’s terrifying power, they were all deathly silent, not daring to even breathe a word.
An expert like Turen Xiong was far beyond Tian Bingbing’s abilities; even Tian Guangjin wouldn’t be able to handle him.
Tian Bingbing hesitated. She could call Zhang Bin, but he was no match for Turen Xiong. To come here would be to walk into his own grave. How could she bring herself to do such a thing?
"If you have the guts, then kill me. I won’t let Zhang Bin come," Tian Bingbing said, steeling herself.
"BWAHAHA... Isn’t Zhang Bin the head instructor of your Longyin Martial Arts Hall? Isn’t he supposed to be powerful? A challenger is here, and you won’t let him come? Are you worried about your little lover? Afraid we’ll cripple him?" Teng Qianzhang sneered.
He had, of course, heard about the romantic affair between Zhang Bin and Tian Bingbing that night.
So, he wasn’t worried in the slightest. He could let Turen Xiong humiliate Tian Bingbing as much as he wanted, certain that Zhang Bin would appear. After all, some of the students were bound to call him.
"You’re full of it..." Tian Bingbing sputtered in frustration. When had Zhang Bin ever become her lover?
"Brother Tu, rip her clothes off. She’s just a slut," Teng Qianzhang jeered with a sinister smile.
"Stop."
Just then, a cold voice rang out. Clutching a treasured sword, Zhang Bin strode in from the entrance. Although Tutu had monitored everything, he had been delayed by traffic.
"Zhang Bin, run..."
Tian Bingbing was on the verge of tears. Her greatest fear was that Zhang Bin would come.
It was no different from sending him to his death.
"Silly girl, didn’t you say my swordplay was excellent the other day?" Zhang Bin said, looking at Tian Bingbing with a tender gaze as he continued to walk forward.
Your swordplay is good, but how could it possibly compare with someone like Turen Xiong from the Iron Sword Sect? Tian Bingbing thought, her face a mask of despair. She could already picture the harrowing sight of Zhang Bin lying in a pool of his own blood.
"Hahaha... Zhang Bin, you’re finally here! Excellent, just excellent! When you crippled my Cultivation Level that day, did you ever imagine this moment would come?" Teng Qianzhang laughed maniacally, his heart filled with the sweet pleasure of revenge.
"Zhang Bin, you dared to oppose us. Your fate was sealed long ago," Zuo Haonan added with a fierce smile.
"Zhang Bin, you were so arrogant in front of me last time. Let’s see if you have the guts to be so arrogant today!" Teng Xiaofeng shouted excitedly.
"You’re just a bunch of clowns. You should be thankful we live in a society governed by law. Otherwise, you’d all be corpses by now," Zhang Bin said coldly.
The three were so enraged they nearly coughed up blood. They had expected Zhang Bin to be trembling with fear, begging for mercy on his knees, but the reality was the complete opposite of what they had imagined.
"Brother Tu, cripple him," Teng Qianzhang said angrily.
Turen Xiong sneered. "So, you’re Zhang Bin? Reached the Rushing Pulse Realm at only twenty years old and opened seven meridians?"
"And you’re the Iron Sword Sect outcast, Turen Xiong? Selling yourself out for a mere five million to do the bidding of these scoundrels? Don’t you know the old saying? ’Men die in pursuit of wealth, and birds die in pursuit of food.’ Are you sure that five million is worth a lifetime of regret?" Zhang Bin retorted coolly.
How did he know about my deal with Teng Qianzhang?
Turen Xiong was stunned, but his expression turned glacial. He laughed scornfully and said, "In my eyes, you’re a weak little ant. There’s no need to put on a brave front. Cripple your own cultivation and your right leg, and we’ll call this matter settled. Otherwise, I’ll make you regret ever being born."
Fury ignited in Zhang Bin’s heart. He took a step forward and shouted, "In that case, there’s nothing more to say. Come on, then! Let’s let our swords do the talking!"
