About twelve hours before the teenagers met with the supposed cosplayers, late in the evening, a flash of light appeared above the clouds on the outskirts of Novis.

From the light, a group of four people appeared, plummeting to the ground at high speed, only for their fall to slow down before they landed.

"Did it work…?" Soren, the warrior, asked.

"Ugh, I don't know… I'm a bit dizzy," Faelyn replied, clutching her head with discomfort.

"Well, at least we aren't at the mountain anymore," Sylas commented.

"You beasts, where are we!?" The voice of a man instantly annoyed the group, making them turn around to look at Gabriel, the angel, who had entered the convergence at the same time as the rest of the party.

Before the trio could respond, Gabriel waved the matter aside and drew his sword, telling himself that he must fulfill his mission.

He was ready to fight the trio in order to bring them back dead or alive to his goddess. However, the group looked at the angel with skepticism and disinterest.

"Are you sure you want to do that? Your goddess is far away…" Faelyn said with a sharp gaze and a cold tone, preparing herself to battle the angel.

"Just ignore him. We need to look for more information about our whereabouts," Sylas interjected.

"Ignore me!?" The angel indignantly asked.

Still, Gabriel knew that the assassin had a point. If the convergence had truly worked, then it meant that they were no longer in the realm of Terra, so even if he defeated the trio, he didn't know how to make his way back.

'Tch, I'll have to stick with these savages…' Gabriel thought.

The group had landed in the middle of a national park near a hiking trail, and since it was the only road they had seen, they decided to follow it until the city skyline was visible.

The sight of the skyscrapers and buildings that were illuminated at night was mesmerizing for the group, even for Gabriel, and it was evidence that they weren't anywhere in Terra.

As they walked for a few hours towards the city, Faelyn noticed that the concentrated umbra in the city was quite powerful, indicating a high population density.

When the group reached the asphalt streets, they were confused for a moment as they were unfamiliar with the material they used to make them, and in the midst of their confusion, a car passed by and honked at them to get out of the way.

"What a weird carriage… I couldn't sense any magic from it," Faelyn commented.

The elf had seen horseless carriages that could move on their own in one of the cities in Terra, but those carriages used a magic stone to make them hover and move. When inspecting the car, however, she couldn't sense a single speck of magic from it.

Since it was late at night, the streets weren't as busy as they were at any other time of day, and while the group's outfits would have caught the attention of many, they were lucky that barely anyone was around to see them.

They ended up wandering around the city the whole night, looking at the flashing signs from the shops with curiosity.

At one point, Faelyn looked up at a massive advertising billboard and dropped her head laterally in confusion. "Is that Lilith…?" she pondered aloud.

"Huh… She does look like Lilith," Sylas replied, looking up at the billboard with slight confusion.

It was an advertising campaign for a new brand of lingerie and perfume, and Lilith had become the face of the brand after her debut as a model.

"I can't believe this. You people brought me to Hell!" Gabriel exclaimed.

"What?" Faelyn asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Why else would there be such a realistic painting of a demon in the middle of the street? They must be worshipping her!" Gabriel continued.

"*Sigh* God. This is why I hate angels…" Faelyn muttered under her breath.

"Gabriel, do you really think Hell looks like this? It's obvious you angels have never been there," she explained, her attitude and tone turning more serious.

Of course, none of them knew the reason why the Demon Queen of Lust appeared wearing lingerie in a massive picture, but it was at least clear to them that they were not in Hell.

Moreover, the picture of Lilith didn't show her signature horns, wings, or tail, so Faelyn deduced that, if she was indeed Lilith, she was posing as a human.

The group kept walking along the streets until they unknowingly passed by a dangerous street, known for being an area with high rates of robbery, and found a homeless man sitting on the side of the sidewalk.

Soren approached the man and tried speaking to him, wanting to ask for the name of the city they were in. However, when the homeless man looked up at the tall, built warrior speaking in an unknown language, he fell silent with fear.

"Dammit, meathead. You are scaring him!" Faelyn exclaimed, pushing Soren aside and stepping in front of the homeless man.

Once again, Faelyn tried to put on a sweet smile and a kind tone when asking the man about their whereabouts, but as he muttered something, Faelyn realized that they didn't speak the language.

"This is gonna be tough. Dante was our translator…" Sylas commented, and as the group left a bit dejected, the homeless man looked at their backs and believed he must have been dreaming.

"Let's keep looking around. I'll figure something out if we can't communicate with anybody…" Faelyn said to the group.

Gabriel walked a few steps behind the trio. He was feeling conflicted since he was technically on a mission given by Goddess Aelara, but he knew that he wouldn't be able to return to Terra without the help of the trio he was hunting.

'I'll stick with them for now. If I get a chance later on, I'll take it!' Gabriel thought, scheming his own escape plan while exploring Novis at night.
