CHAPTER 237: CHAPTER 237 MELODY MISSING (1)

In the Parker family, Sibel was the first servant to truly treat Melody Parker as her mistress and take care of her.

Because of her numerous acts of care for Melody Parker, she was expelled along with Melody Parker when Melody was driven out of River City.

Originally, Melody thought that during those times when food was scarce and she couldn’t afford to pay Sibel’s wages, Sibel would leave them in search of a better life.

But what she didn’t expect was that Sibel had never once considered leaving them, and during their most difficult times, Sibel even went out to wash dishes and do odd jobs to help with household expenses.

After years of living together, in Melody’s heart, Sibel is no longer a servant but a friend and family member.

"Sibel, what’s going on? Who’s here?" Aunt Brown asked as she walked outside, hearing the commotion from the yard.

But when she saw the figure standing in the yard and heard Sibel muttering, understanding the situation, she instantly got teary-eyed.

Benjamin Parker couldn’t stand such a scene and said with his little face raised: "Grandma Brown, Sibel, Mommy finding my brother is a happy thing. Why are you crying?"

"Yes, yes, don’t cry." Aunt Brown wiped away the tears that had rolled out, looking kindly at the two brothers, "Little cuties, Grandma Brown will go prepare something delicious for you now."

Sibel also wiped the tear marks from the corners of her eyes and looked at Benjamin, "Young master, these are tears of joy, you know?"

After saying this, she took the suitcase from Melody’s hand, "Come on, Miss, let’s go home."

The few of them entered the villa.

Aunt Brown was busy preparing various delicious foods.

After helping Melody with the luggage, Sibel busied herself cleaning their rooms.

Melody returned to the bedroom.

Actually, Melody Parker and Benjamin’s room was cleaned every day and didn’t need special tidying.

However, since Sibel insisted, she did not refuse.

Moreover, now that there was another member in the family, Benjamin’s room needed to be properly organized.

From now on, that would be the room for the two brothers.

Benjamin, on the other hand, took Daniel Davies to his secret base—the garden behind the small villa.

"Brother, doesn’t the flower here smell nice? This was planted by Mommy and me together." Benjamin asked proudly while leading the way in front.

Daniel nodded, "Hmm, it smells wonderful."

Benjamin smiled, holding Daniel’s hand, promising, "Brother, if you like, I can accompany you to plant flowers here, flowers that you like."

Then, Benjamin quickly added, "Of course, with Mommy too."

Daniel’s eyes lit up, his mind painting a picture of him, his little brother, and Mommy planting flowers in this fragrant garden.

"Brother, look!" Benjamin pointed to a towering tree in the yard, "Brother, see the little wooden house on the tree? That’s my secret base!"

As he said that, Benjamin pulled Daniel along to quicken his pace, running towards that big tree.

"Brother, climb up from here." Benjamin said, demonstrating by climbing up the wooden ladder that extended down from the house.

Daniel followed closely and climbed up alongside him.

"Benny, open the door." Benjamin softly spoke to the door of the wooden house, which was soon opened from inside.

Soon after, a uniquely shaped mechanical puppy rushed toward Benjamin.

"Woof woof..." it barked excitedly, snuggling against Benjamin continuously.

Benjamin hugged Benny, looking toward Daniel, "Brother, this is Benny, my mechanical dog. It guards the wooden house, protecting my treasures inside."

With that, Benjamin promised, "Brother, from now on, Benny and everything in this wooden house will be ours."

Then Benjamin looked at Benny, "Benny, remember, this is my brother, your little master now."

"Woof woof." The mechanical dog Benny barked, squeezing out from Benjamin’s embrace directly into Daniel’s arms, barking excitedly, "Woof woof, woof woof..."

Daniel said nothing, holding Benny full of undisguised affection in his eyes.

Seeing this, Benjamin was beyond happy.

"Brother, I knew you would like Benny. Although Benny is a bit silly, not as clever as Holly, it’s adorable! Also, I spent a lot of effort looking for it."

Saying this, Benjamin entered the wooden house.

Daniel held Benny as he walked into the wooden house.

The wooden house was small, yet it had an extraordinary charm.

Benjamin pulled Daniel along to introduce him to all his treasures one by one...

Inside the villa, Melody’s phone rang.

The call was from Neal Galan.

Melody answered, "Neal."

"Melody, have you and the kids returned to Fland?" Neal’s voice, as usual, was gentle.

Recalling her prior agreement to return with Neal, Melody apologized, "I’m sorry, Neal, I..."

"Melody, you don’t need to apologize. You and the kids being able to return to Fland, allowing me to care for you more conveniently, already makes me very happy."

Neal’s gentle voice interrupted Melody, followed by, "Melody, knowing you’ve arrived, I’m relieved."

"Yes, we’re home now." Melody replied.

On the other end, Neal gently requested, "Melody, I’m coming back to Fland tomorrow, would you come to pick me up then?"

Melody agreed, "Okay."

Because during their four years in Fland, their friendship exceeded familial ties, Melody Parker treated Neal as family, so picking him up was quite normal for her.

The next day, Neal returned to Fland, and Melody went to pick him up.

As it was time for a meal, they casually found a restaurant near the airport for lunch.

Once they entered the restaurant and sat down, Melody looked at Neal, "Neal, I’m going to the restroom."

Neal diverted his gaze from the menu, gently looking at Melody, "Hmm, go ahead."

Melody went to the restroom, and Neal sat at the table, idly browsing through the menu.

However, five minutes passed, ten minutes passed, twenty minutes passed, and Melody hadn’t come out from the restroom.

Neal began to worry.

He picked up Melody’s purse from the table and walked towards the direction of the restroom.

At this moment, a local girl from Fland happened to walk out of the restroom.

Neal stopped her and urgently said, "Hello, would you please check inside to see if a girl named Melody Parker is still in there."

Being suddenly stopped by a handsome guy, the Fland girl was instantly thrilled.

Trivia Question: Melody disappeared, can you guess who kidnapped her? The first one to answer correctly will receive a reward of a thousand book coins, haha this one’s a bit challenging~
