Chapter 301 Assassination: Virgil Davies VS Bella Sutton…
CHAPTER 301: CHAPTER 301 ASSASSINATION: VIRGIL DAVIES VS BELLA SUTTON...
The dark shadows approaching Virgil Davies were intercepted by these black-clad figures that appeared out of thin air before they could get close.
These shadows attacking Virgil Davies were sent by Bella Sutton.
More than half an hour ago, Irene rushed to find Bella Sutton, who was practicing fencing.
She stood there, respectfully looking at Bella Sutton, and spoke coldly, "Princess, Virgil Davies has appeared."
Bella Sutton did not stop her fencing movements and coldly replied, "Very well, let him stay there forever, to accompany his mother!"
"Yes! I’ll send someone right away." Irene responded, immediately turning to leave.
Bella Sutton had planned to kill Virgil Davies for a long time.
It was only due to the constraints of Virgil Davies’ arsenal that she had not acted sooner.
However, now things were different.
Now, she had heard about Adrian’s actions against Virgil Davies;
She knew that Adrian had destroyed many of Virgil Davies’ territories but still could not force him out or kill him.
If she could accomplish what Adrian wanted to do, would Adrian return to her side, could they go back to the way things were?
She was unwilling to wait any longer and had Irene contact Kaleb immediately.
From Kaleb, she learned that Virgil Davies was returning today to pay respects to Mistress Jade.
However, since Virgil was always insidious and cunning, she could not make any arrangements without confirmed news.
She found Mistress Jade’s grave and had people guard it.
Now that Virgil Davies had truly appeared, he would die.
Die at the cemetery, die in front of Mistress Jade!
Bella Sutton’s gray pupils emitted a fierce light.
Her fencing movements became more fierce and vicious...
Under such an onslaught, the person sparring with her was overwhelmed and quickly defeated.
"Useless!" Bella Sutton coldly scolded, throwing down her sword and leaving.
...
At the cemetery, both sides were at war.
The sound of gunfire, bones cracking, and painful groans echoed continuously.
More and more people fell, the glaring blood staining the ground beneath them.
Yet Virgil Davies seemed oblivious to it all, continuing to chat with Mistress Jade, "Mommy, today is your memorial day. With so many people coming to see you, you must be happy, right? Since they’re here, I’ll send them down to keep you company, using their blood to honor you..."
The intense gunfight ended almost as quickly as it began.
After more than ten minutes, everything calmed down.
The cemetery was littered with countless dead and wounded, corpses in various deathly poses everywhere.
Bella Sutton’s men were disastrously defeated, virtually all killed, with the few remaining survivors captured and subdued.
Although Virgil Davies’ men narrowly won, they also suffered heavy casualties.
From an original group of dozens, only a few men were left alive.
As the gunfire ceased, Virgil Davies stood up from the ground.
He stood unwavering in front of Mistress Jade’s grave, turning casually, seemingly unaware of the tragedy before him.
He walked over to the captured man, ruthlessly inserted his fingers into the bleeding wound, and twisted forcefully.
While doing this, his expression remained calm.
With a sinister gaze, he looked at the man and said, "Speak, whose man are you?"
"Pft!..." The man spat a mouthful of blood onto Virgil’s face, "I’m no one’s man; I just want to kill you, you pervert!"
"Is that so?" Virgil Davies wiped the blood from his face, nonchalantly reaching out and snapping the man’s neck.
After leaving the cemetery, Virgil Davies returned to his hotel lodging.
Just as he opened the hotel room door, he saw a woman, a woman standing inside his room who shouldn’t have been there—Bella Sutton.
Hearing the commotion, Bella Sutton turned.
The two of them acted almost simultaneously, raising their guns and aiming at each other’s heads.
The only difference was that Virgil Davies had a black handgun, while Bella Sutton held her custom silver pistol.
Bella Sutton stared intently at Virgil Davies, her gray eyes filled with murderous intent, "Virgil Davies, you really aren’t easy to kill!"
Virgil Davies looked at Bella Sutton, his wicked, sinister visage carrying a faint sneer, "Princess Nine, I’m still alive and well, sorry to disappoint you."
"Hmph!" Bella Sutton snorted coldly, "No matter, today is destined to be your death day!"
Virgil Davies chuckled, looking at Bella Sutton and asked, "Is Princess Nine trying to kill me to please Adrian?"
Bella Sutton said nothing, her gray eyes tightly locked on Virgil Davies, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
Though Bella Sutton remained silent, Virgil Davies had something to say.
Calmly, he looked at Bella Sutton and analyzed the current situation, saying, "Princess Nine, given our current standoff, do you really think you can kill me? It seems more likely that we’ll perish together."
Bella Sutton: "..."
Perish together?
Ha, is he imagining too much?
Without a foolproof plan, did he really think she’d appear here?
Whether it’s the hidden assassin or the distant sniper, they were ready the moment she entered this place.
They were on standby, only needing a signal from her to easily take Virgil Davies’ life without so much as lifting a finger.
Of course, Virgil Davies clearly understood this, yet he remained composed.
Because he believed that Bella Sutton being here was not merely to kill him!
Moreover, he had absolute confidence he could make Bella Sutton abandon the idea of killing him.
Virgil Davies looked at Bella Sutton, smirking roguishly.
With a face somewhat resembling Adrian, he wore such a mischievous smile as he slowly approached Bella Sutton, saying:
"Princess, you’re so beautiful. If you were to go to hell with me, Virgil Davies, wouldn’t that be a little too regrettable? To have a noble, beautiful woman like you accompany me, I’d have no grievances. Even in the afterlife, I’d be happy. But, what about you, Princess? Do you think it’s worth it?"
"Accompany you to hell? You think you’re worthy!" Bella Sutton spoke disdainfully.
"I know I’m not worthy. But I can assure the princess that before your people act, I can certainly drag you to hell with me."
Virgil Davies stopped two or three steps away from Bella Sutton, speaking with immense confidence.
After saying this, without waiting for Bella Sutton to respond, Virgil Davies then asked rhetorically, "Princess, having not yet won over Adrian, would you really die alongside someone as insignificant as me?"
Willing?
How could she be willing?
