Damien returned to the entrenched elite Jaegers and reported his discoveries to their Second-In-Command. The special forces' reaction was troublesome.

A few of them didn't even believe him and wanted to check it out for themselves. But the Second-In-Command halted them, citing the critical mission given by the Third Paragon.

Most could only sigh as Damien gave them a subtle nod before leaving the frontlines with his monsters. His job in the southern frontier had concluded with the destruction of the final bastion.

There was no reason for him to stay anymore, even if the Third Paragon was missing. But he made a promise to them when he left.

If the frontlines were about to be broken by the Clan, Block 3 could call upon his assistance, along with a few members of Block 7. It was the least he could do for the border guardians.

In any case, the monster army kept marching towards the southern frontier, leaving the Forward-Operating Base behind.

Damien glanced at them for one last time and recalled the gargantuan crater that stretched through the horizon. Whatever the Third Paragon fought.

It must have been a monster of some sort.

"Fortunately, I had Marquis March to confront me."

He muttered under his breath, shaking the thought of the expansive crater from his mind. Dreams of Eternity might not work for some True Bloods.

So, Damien would rather not test his luck.

Otherwise, he would be flung into a situation where only one path lay onward. And that was death itself.

"At the very least, I have already completed my operation here. Don't have to face any True Bloods anymore."

He could not counter Microcosms. There was no ability of his capable of doing so. The moment his opponent imprinted their domain.

It would be game over for him.

Unless he was truly confident, he should best avoid the True Bloods for the time being and not test his destiny.

After passing a couple of trucks, Damien arrived at the edge of the southern frontier and took his smartphone from his pocket. It was sleek, resembling technology different from the Old World.

As the smartphone rang, he waited before someone on the other side accepted the call. An arrogant voice escaped the sleek metal of the phone.

"Took you long enough, Damien."

"I heard about what you did in the southern frontier. For someone who doesn't have a Microcosm... You got guts, kid."

The voice came from his boss, the gorgeous white-haired lady, Alastair Glass. The Seventh Paragon was aware of his actions on the southern frontier.

Some praised him for what he had done, while others criticized him for the increased hostilities the Clan might pose towards the Federation.

"I did what I had to do. I was fortunate enough to have a counter against a True Blood and killed him." Damien remarked, earning a few seconds of silence.

"Who is it?"

It was a simple question, yet it could mean several things at once.

"Marquis March... Quite a troublesome bastard."

Damien sighed to himself, remembering how much he threw towards the True Blood during the battle. If it wasn't for Dreams of Eternity, who knows what would have happened?

"That weak bastard, huh? Good riddance."

"Return to New York, the situation has escalated," Alastair commanded for his withdrawal, which he accepted with a nod. After all, he already planned to return.

He'd rather see civilization than the never-ending stretching wasteland of the southern frontier. "Alright, I should be there in about an hour."

"Has Hecate adapted to that body of hers?"

Damien inquired, curious about his partner's state. It has been a while since he has seen her. Even though she was adapting well, there were times when she couldn't control her strength.

"Your partner has adapted well. She even became a fugitive responsible for attacking a few politicians. Of course, with each attack, news outlets seem to have lost their tongue."

"Only the authorities are aware of their deaths, which means that the Federal Government is focusing on making things look normal."

Hearing Alastair's explanation, Damien took a deep breath and sighed to himself. Even the situation in the Federation has become troublesome.

"That doesn't sound good."

"But don't worry, boss... I already have the requirements we need to silently kill the president. How about some evidence? Did you manage to acquire them?"

He was curious about what things they had discovered while he was gone. It must have been quite a lot.

"Their trace is hard to find. Only a few documents have signs of connection with the Shadow Division."

"The information you sent us. I plan to release some to the public to cause some chaos. What do you think?" Alastair was curious about her junior's opinion.

Damien thought about it for a moment before answering. "Do what you need to do. I just have to kill the president, correct? In a natural death, of course."

"Yeah, yeah..." The call promptly ended, leaving the black-suited young man in silence. He shook his head and saw the stronghold of the Third Division.

Tapping the head of Eclipse, the monster army halted from their march. Damien looked at them for a moment before muttering to himself.

"Looks like our journey in the south has ended." With a snap of his fingers, the monster army was desummoned as he fell from the skies.

He blinked and teleported onto the ground, patting his black suit. Being alone didn't feel good at all. But it wasn't bad either.

"Hope the southern frontier doesn't escalate any further." The plans they had in mind would be problematic for the Federation.

Once enacted, the Seventh Division would have to be ready when the Clan uses the chaos as an opportunity to invade the upper half of the New World.

If that did happen, the entirety of SIGIL would have to be deployed to handle the True Bloods besieging the borders. There was also the vampire progenitor.

Who knows what that ancient bastard plans to do?

At any rate, a troublesome time was ahead of him and everyone else.

Meanwhile...

Alastair lay down her phone and gazed upon the shattered space in front of her. She was currently in Los Angeles alongside Hecate. Before them were the authorities and Jaegers of Block 4.

"Was that Damien, Master?" Hecate tilted her head, crimson hair settling on her fair shoulder. She was curious about the caller.

"Yeah, he just completed whatever he was doing in the south." Alastair's lips curved into a subtle smile as her pearl-like gaze narrowed at the ones in front of them.

"Now... Bothering my subordinates and trying to arrest them without even evidence. It seems that you bastards have forgotten about how I do things, huh?"

She glared at the authorities and Jaegers who were trapped in their place. The authorities didn't dare meet her eyes, but the Jaegers glared back at her.

"You will pay for this disrespect-"

Alastair raised her eyebrows as the Jaeger shattered like glass, instantly dying without her even moving a single muscle. It was an astounding sight that made others instinctively shiver.

"I am an arrogant and vengeful person, especially when my people haven't done anything wrong. Looks like I have to pay a visit to that prison once again, huh?"

"I wonder how people would react if that place became a crater?" Alastair placed a pale finger below her chin and pondered. "How about you see for yourselves?"

The authorities and Jaegers couldn't even scream as she snapped her fingers, causing them to shatter into pieces. She stretched her arms upward and yawned. "How boring."

"Are you alright?" Alastair glanced at her juniors, who had almost turned an entire suburban area into a battlefield. Echidna and Hawk were living peacefully when some bastards besieged their home.

Naturally, they immediately reacted and threw everyone out of the house. It made the situation escalate to the point that even the military had to join in.

After all, anyone undermining the Federal Government must pay.

"No problem here... I didn't expect some bastards to barge into our home unannounced." Echidna sighed to herself as her peace was shattered in an instant.

"Here I thought no one would bother us."

"In any case, since the two of you have arrived. I assume that Block 7 is back in the game." Echidna placed her hands over her hips while Hawk stood beside her.

The little girl looked at Alastair and Hecate with bright expectations. After all, she wanted to do something other than going to school or lying around.

"Did Hecate already brief you on the plan?" Alastair calmly asked as Echidna pondered for a couple of seconds before nodding in agreement.

"Yeah, Hawk and I have already been briefed. Assassinating the president of this country... You must have been the ones who instigated the riots not long ago, right?"

Echidna rubbed the back of her head and mumbled. "Why does this feel like a revolution of some sort? I hope it doesn't go that far."

"It wouldn't go that far," Hecate remarked. "It's not like someone with us went through a revolution."

When such words escaped her mouth, everyone turned their gaze towards their boss, who raised her eyebrows. "What?"
