The permanent mana network serves as a vessel and looks like a sigil on one’s forehead. But this vessel is not for storing wood mana, like life seeds.

The life-giving wood element that the vessel sigil stores doesn’t come from ambient mana. It comes from other plants.

The wood vessel sigil, once constructed, can be used to siphon the pure life energy from plants. This pure life energy can be used to heal people or hasten the growth and development of other plants.

It is said that a golden core senior who has mastered the wood vessel sigil can use the life energy she siphoned from other plants to help a stunted plant grow and transcend its mortal coils.

A lot of examples were given about the usage of the wood vessel sigil, but this particular example reminded him of how his third-rank silver pine tree had come about.

The problem here is that he has few rank 3 spells and is currently in possession of a token that he can use to exchange for a top-notch spell. So he should get a useful spell that will enhance his strength.

He has thirty-three rank 2 spells and techniques, while he has just five rank 3 spells. Of those five rank 3 techniques, none of them is a spell.

All five of them are the Unification of Hearts, Mind, and Body Weapon Technique, the Wood Element Host Technique, the Lightning Element Host Technique, the Beast Link Spell, and the Life and Death Lightning Art.

In terms of power, there is no difference between a rank 2 spell and a rank 3 spell. Both spells have a power output of 10. Where the difference comes in is the complexity of the spells.

Rank 3 spells are more complicated than rank 2 spells. This complexity translates to an increased difficulty in learning and a larger capacity for energy.
