If someone without permission had tried to create a spatial passage that passed through the third layer of space, which is also called the crystal shield of the world, they would have failed.

The crystal shield, or the third layer of space, is the most important defense of a world. One would need the permission of the world spirit or be more powerful than the world spirit to pass through the crystal shield.

The mothership had the permission of Ethera, so it was able to pass through the crystal shield with ease. While the mothership didn't have the permission of the world spirit of Aries, the gate was powerful enough to overwhelm the defenses of the world and create a spatial passage that tore through its crystal shield.

This kind of violent entry didn't go unnoticed, though. The sky tore open to reveal a deep darkness. The whole world saw this tear in the sky, so everyone knew that the world was being invaded.

If there was someone powerful enough to block the spatial tunnel or destroy it, such a person could take action now to stop the mothership from gaining entry to the world.

Unfortunately for Aries, there was no such being in the world. If there were, they wouldn't have been invaded by the first invaders in the first place.

The tear in the sky was very wide. That's why the whole world was able to see it. But the object that came out of the tear in space was small.

Of course, the mothership was only small compared to the sky-spanning tear. The mothership wasn't something that could be underestimated. After all, it was the size of a town in some places.

After the mothership entered the world, the black tear in the sky disappeared. The mothership descended to the world and left the sight of those looking up at the sky.

The people in the world felt various emotions about the new invaders. Some of them were happy because they knew the origin and goal of these new invaders. But most of the world was unhappy about the presence of more invaders.

Both the first invaders, the traitors that let them in, and the die-hard xenophobic resistors hated the new invaders. Only the nobles of the previous generation were happy to gain helpers who would help them restore their power.

The world of Aries is divided into three main factions. These factions are the nobles of the Tundra race, the traitors of the Vulcan race, and the resistance made up of people of both races who hate all kinds of invaders.

The Sovereign of Aries is currently a member of the Vulcan race, so the world of Aries is hot. The terrain is mostly a desert with volcanic mountains scattered everywhere and dust storms ravaging the surface.

The main refuge for the Tundra people is the North Pole. This is where the mothership went.

Some blue tundra people are living underground all over the world, and in some places that are cool, but the nobles that reached out to the world of Ethera for help mainly reside in the North Pole of Aries, so the mothership had to go to the North Pole to meet their allies.

The nobles had seen the commotion they created when they entered Aries. So the nobles were already waiting to receive them by the time they reached the North Pole.

The three armies remained in the mothership while the three patriarchs took control of three rank 4 golems and sent them out to meet the nobles.

The nobles of the tundra people are white, not blue. This is because they are directly related to the previous Sovereign. The bloodline of the Sovereign in them is very high, so their control of ice is stronger compared to the other tundra people.

The current leader of the noble faction is the eldest living child of the last Sovereign. This leader is a female named Taka. The previous Sovereign had many sons and daughters who were older than Taka, but they had died of old age or been killed by enemies.

Taka led the surviving nobles to welcome the helpers from far away. After introductions had been made, Sword Flash asked the most important question.

He said, "What is the situation of the traitors? How strong are they?"

Taka replied respectfully, "The leader of the traitors has successfully become Sovereign. But he also has helpers from other worlds who beseeched my mother and killed her. These helpers were initially three in number, but I think one of them was killed by my mother."

Sword Flash said, "So there are potentially three beings with a power output of C grade or the fourth step, as it is called in this world."

In the universe, there are many worlds, and each world has a different way of growing stronger, which is affected by the conditions of its world and the nature of the living beings inhabiting those worlds.

So not every world is using the shedding of the mortal coil cultivation system. Every world has its own cultivation system, which leads to different grading systems in the various worlds.

But one thing that every world has in common is the increase in power as a goal for cultivation. Since power is universal, if it can be measured, it can be used to compare and contrast across various worlds and cultivation systems.

Regardless of how someone acquired their power, what matters is that they have power. Power is then measured and categorized into grades. These grades go from F, E, D, C, B, A, etc.

It is generally accepted that each successive grade is 100 times stronger than the last. So the E grade is 100 times stronger than the F grade, and the D grade is 100 times stronger than the E grade. This is why power is measured as a percentage of a grade.

For example, in Aries, they practice a cultivation that involves assimilating special resources in the world into their bodies. This cultivation system is called the ascension system.
