"Yes." Long Yubei noticed that the mother and daughter were about to leave and asked, "Where are you going?"

"We’re taking Ningyi out for a stroll. She’s always at home without playmates, and even though she’s just over two years old, she loves to be lively and enjoys places where there are many children."

Long Yubei nodded, bent down, and kissed Mo Ningyi’s cheek, "She’s gained quite a bit of weight."

"Lately, her appetite has improved too. By the way, why did I hear that you and Sister Lili got back together?"

"No." Long Yubei denied, holding Mo Ningyi as they left, "She’s stubborn and unwilling."

Nan Yuesheng replied, "Sister Lili is tough on the outside but soft on the inside. You should pamper her more."

"I will. Where are you guys heading? I can give you a lift."

"No need, Captain Tang is giving us a ride. It’s out of your way, don’t let it delay your work time."

"Alright, it’s cold outside, don’t let the little guy catch a cold."

"Okay." Nan Yuesheng took Mo Ningyi back into her arms.

Captain Tang took the mother and daughter to the biggest square, "You take Ningyi to play, I’ll wait for you guys here."

"You’re pretty busy, no need to wait for us. We can take a taxi back."

"It’s alright, I’m free this morning. Go ahead."

"Okay then, but if you get bored, feel free to leave first. It’s quite noisy here."

Captain Tang nodded.

Nan Yuesheng held Mo Ningyi and went to a nearby spot where children were playing. As soon as they sat down, a kind-looking old lady asked, "Your daughter is so beautiful. How old is she?"

"Over two years old."

"She doesn’t resemble you much, does she look like her father?"

Nan Yuesheng smiled and nodded, "Yes, she looks like her father."

"Do you live nearby?"

"No." Nan Yuesheng answered briefly, "We live quite a distance from here."

The old lady pointed at a little girl playing on the ground, "This is my granddaughter, only two years older than your baby. Let them play together."

Nan Yuesheng put down Mo Ningyi, and the children played together.

"What’s the baby’s name?"

"Ningyi."

"That’s a lovely name, she looks so healthy. Do you breastfeed her or give her formula?"

"Mainly breastmilk, but she also drinks formula." Nan Yuesheng didn’t find the small talk unusual until the old lady asked the next question, "How did you get here? Did you drive or take public transport?"

Nan Yuesheng wondered, is it necessary to ask this?

She casually replied, "We took public transport. I brought her here, I can’t drive, and also I don’t know how to drive."

The old lady smiled and nodded then told her own granddaughter, "Play with your sister, share some of your candy with her."

Nan Yuesheng quickly said, "No need, we have brought our own."

"Why so formal?" The old lady insisted, pushing the candy to Mo Ningyi. Nan Yuesheng never let her child eat anything given by strangers, regardless of the intent.

Therefore, she still gave the candy back to the little girl.

While this was going on, some of the parents who were initially at the playground had left.

A few more couples with children arrived.

Seeing that it was about time and the children’s hands were turning red, Nan Yuesheng decided to take her child to another place.

But just as she was about to pick up her child, the old lady’s attitude suddenly changed, and she shouted loudly, "What are you doing carrying my child?!"

Sensing something was wrong, Nan Yuesheng quickly picked up Mo Ningyi, "What are you talking about your child? This is my daughter!"

"My God, somebody help, she’s trying to steal a child!" The old lady cried out, quickly attracting a crowd of onlookers.
