Mr. CEO's Substitute Bride
Chapter 347 - 343, I miss you so much.
CHAPTER 347: 343, I MISS YOU SO MUCH.
Before she could react, Nathan Moore’s handsome face pressed down, gently and delicately grinding against her lush lips.
The kiss, everlasting and intertwined, carried cautious care and joy as if they had been reunited after a long separation. The large hand on Titus Zane’s back seemed to be restraining, the warmth from the palm permeating through the fabric of the business attire, heating up her back, and seemingly the heart that lay against it too started to burn.
Titus Zane’s eyes widened in astonishment slowly closed, overwhelmed by the gentle care that made her forget to struggle.
As the kiss ended, Titus Zane’s eyes became moist while Nathan Moore’s dark eyes also dimmed, the emotions within clearly visible.
Raising his hand, he lightly patted her buttocks, but did not move away; his palm gently caressing, locked onto Titus Zane’s watery eyes, he spoke, his voice husky, "I miss that unfathomable feeling."
Without giving Titus Zane a moment to react, his lips pressed down again, holding Titus Zane’s face in another prolonged kiss. Sighs penetrated her ear, gentle, slightly helpless, and with a hint of sorrow, "Titus Zane, I’ve missed you so much..."
He wasn’t a frivolous man; even in longing, he would not seek other women as replacements.
For he had a stubborn heart, stubborn to the extent of desiring to be devoted to one and only one for life.
In this moment, in Nathan Moore’s heart, there was only one woman, Titus Zane, and the one he left in the villa, perhaps, from the moment he had resolved on Titus Zane, the feelings he once had turned into familial affection.
Titus Zane’s heart became restless, she never knew just how enchanting her pet name could sound coming from this man.
For Nathan Moore, she had once harbored hatred; yet, nearly a year of being together, human feelings develop, even hatred was a form of feeling.
In the past, he would grit his teeth when calling her full name, cursing destructively, calling her a wicked woman.
Now, he was actually calling her pet name, with a voice as gentle as the kisses on his lips.
Some emotions exploded in her heart, flowing slowly, then that heart disobediently leaped with joy, leading her to wrap her arms around his neck and actually close her eyes to savor his kiss.
The hand fastened at her lower back drew her tightly against him.
Nathan Moore was sitting on the desk, one leg dangling, the other firmly on the ground; in that posture, he was open.
The open trench coat revealing the trousers beneath, and through that fabric, Titus Zane clearly sensed his arousal.
Hard as iron.
"Stay at my place tonight...," a whisper slid into her ear, his most direct invitation.
Suddenly, some scenario exploded in her brain,
...You can’t do this to me...
In the room, a woman cornered by a step-by-step approaching man, his handsome face icy, his thin lips carved out a cold smile, his somber eyes shimmering with a bloodthirsty gleam, disregarding the woman’s struggle and her panic, his body pressing down with destructive force...
Suddenly, her eyes widened, her hands forcefully pushing away from Nathan Moore’s chest, Titus Zane stepped back, her delicate face turned pale from the fright afterward.
Looking at the stunned man whose hands dropped tightly to his sides.
The warmth on her lips was gone, and so was the embrace, Nathan Moore had a moment of confusion, but as he met Titus Zane’s guarded and clearly cold demeanor, his handsome face instantly darkened.
However, before he could react further, the office door was pushed open from the outside, accompanied by a gentle male voice.
"Carry, let’s eat together..."
Seeing the man in the office, the gentle voice stopped abruptly, Wesley Foley with one hand in his trouser pocket and the other on the door handle, stood frozen at the doorway.
