CHAPTER 605: DO YOU KNOW WHO THE KIDNAPPER IS?

"You bastard!"

Alder Locke stepped out of the elevator and swung a punch as soon as he raised his hand. Nathan Moore dodged narrowly, his handsome face turning aside, and countered with a punch of his own. Alder Locke turned his head too, but still got struck by Nathan Moore’s fist on his jaw...

In front of the elevator doors at the underground parking lot, two tall men started throwing punches at each other.

Some people, wanting to use the elevator and fearing they might get involved, hurried past.

Out of another elevator, Abigail Zimmerman and her two assistants, Xiao Li and Xiao Zhang, stepped out. Seeing the two men fighting, Abigail ordered them to be separated.

Xiao Li and Xiao Zhang each grabbed an arm and after they were separated, the looks in the two men’s eyes were still full of hostility.

Both men had injuries on their faces. Nathan Moore, who worked out regularly, was naturally not weak in fighting, but Alder Locke, who had served a year in the military, was not at a disadvantage either.

Alder Locke spat out a mouthful of blood, pushing his salty tasting lip with his tongue, staring with his furious, fiery black eyes at Nathan Moore.

"You bastard, if it weren’t for you, Titus Zane wouldn’t have been kidnapped!"

Nathan Moore was startled, his handsome eyebrows furrowed.

"What did you say? Titus Zane has been kidnapped!"

"If you hadn’t been luring her away to elope, she wouldn’t have fallen into the hands of those villains!" Alder Locke was full of anger thinking about how Titus Zane had let her guard down while trying to escape and was taken advantage of by the bad people.

Now, the kidnapper’s motives were still unknown, no ransom call had been received, and they dared not call the police hastily, so they could only rely on the old man’s connections to investigate.

They’d just been to the security room at the Department Store, where surveillance footage showed a foreign man following Titus Zane into the restroom corridor.

So, the person Alder Locke encountered on the road was indeed Titus Zane.

Alder Locke’s accusation inflamed Nathan Moore. His woman had been brought to Capital City but not properly protected, and instead, she had been kidnapped by villains.

In a burst of rage, Nathan Moore suddenly broke free from Xiao Li’s restraint and quickly lunged in front of Alder Locke, swinging a punch.

It was so sudden and fast, no one was prepared. Alder Locke turned his handsome face aside, but Nathan Moore’s punch landed squarely.

A bruise immediately appeared on the left cheekbone.

Nathan Moore flexed his wrist, "This punch, I throw it on behalf of my woman. As her suitor, you failed to protect her while being by her side. That’s your negligence."

Seeing that Alder Locke was hit by a punch, Xiao Zhang also released him. Alder Locke raised his hand to rub his swollen cheekbone, but did not counterattack.

Out of the blue, Nathan Moore threw another punch. Alder Locke tried to dodge but was too slow and took another punch to the face.

"This one, I throw it for myself. Out of so many women in the world to chase, you just have to relentlessly pursue mine."

After speaking, Nathan Moore flexed his wrist again. The two men were about to tangle anew when Abigail Zimmerman suddenly yelled.

"Enough, Titus Zane’s life is hanging by a thread, and you two men are here fighting! Whatever grievances you have can wait; saving Titus Zane is what’s important now!"

Her words snapped them out of their stupor.

Nathan Moore turned to look at Abigail Zimmerman, "Do you know who kidnapped her?"

Titus Zane wasn’t a local from Capital City and had only recently arrived, so it was unlikely she had enemies. Moreover, if it was for money, it made even less sense since the old man had brought Titus Zane back in a low-key manner and her identity was not known to the outside world, while kidnappers usually select their targets in advance.

Eliminating these possibilities, the only likely one was... related to her previous occupation—stealing corporate secrets could ruin a company overnight.

In the three years Nathan Moore was absent, he didn’t know how many deals she might have executed, hence, he suspected that the kidnapper must be related to the businesses she had contacted before.
