CHAPTER 138: CHAPTER 137: EVEN THE SUICIDE ACT HAS PLAYED OUT

"Everyone get out!"

With a furious shout, the director scowled, and the assistant director and other assistants moved out to block the way.

"Anna, get out here!"

Young Master Lockwood’s temper flared, and the entire crew trying to block him wouldn’t have sufficed.

Ignoring the crew’s obstruction, he stormed in, heading straight towards the set with a furious stride.

"Sean!"

Anna, interrupted during filming, was momentarily stunned seeing Sean Lockwood, and then seeing his icy expression, she asked confusedly, "What’s wrong with you!"

Sean Lockwood didn’t answer; he just walked up and with one push, shoved Anna.

Anna never expected that the person she grew up with, whom she secretly loved, would push her, causing her to fall heavily to the ground.

"Anna, listen to me!"

"No matter what you do, it’s useless. I, Sean Lockwood, will never like you!"

"I will never like a woman as malicious as you in this lifetime!"

The angry shout mercilessly echoed, without any regard for the people around Anna.

Anna’s affection for Sean Lockwood wasn’t a secret. She stuck to him since childhood, chasing after him from home to the circles.

Everyone around her knew that Anna silently liked someone, liked him so much she didn’t dare confess, liked him to the point she would intentionally pick fights with him during every encounter, afraid her little secret would be discovered.

Now, Sean Lockwood exposed her "little secret" in front of so many people, even declaring he would never develop feelings for Anna.

Anna’s heart was suddenly struck with a heavy blow; she didn’t understand why Sean Lockwood was lashing out at her again.

She hadn’t done anything wrong; Zoe falsely accused Serena of plagiarism, but she hadn’t had the chance to go and settle the account.

"Sean Lockwood, what’s your problem!"

Holding back tears welling in her eyes, Anna climbed up from the ground and angrily countered.

Sean Lockwood coldly scrutinized Anna, "You know exactly what you’ve done!"

"If something happens to Zoe, I won’t let you off."

It was indeed related to Zoe Quinn.

Anna felt a sting in her nose, took a deep breath; with so many people watching, no matter how aggrieved she felt, she couldn’t cry.

Sean Lockwood glared at Anna, and as he turned around, he heard wheels rolling from behind. He looked down and saw Serena Sullivan with a composed face appearing before him.

"What’s wrong with Zoe Quinn?"

If it weren’t for her legs being unable to stand, when Sean pushed Zoe Quinn, Serena would have kicked him directly.

One might not accept another’s affection, but one cannot humiliate.

Anna likes him, what’s wrong with that!

"So you were here!"

Seeing Serena, Sean Lockwood’s tone dipped, not knowing where to find Serena, resorting to venting his anger at Anna in the crew.

"Sean Lockwood, what do you want!"

Anna recognized the anger in Sean Lockwood’s voice; she quickly walked over and stood in front of Serena.

"Anna, step aside." Sean shouted angrily, "If you oppose me because of this woman, don’t expect me to bother with you in the future."

Though she liked Sean Lockwood, Anna wasn’t senseless.

"You already don’t bother with me."

"What’s wrong with Zoe Quinn!"

Serena asked again, knowing something significant happened to Zoe Quinn to provoke Sean Lockwood to storm the set and confront Anna like this.

"Serena!" Sean Lockwood, hearing Serena’s icy tone, thought of Zoe Quinn being rescued in the hospital and shouted, "I’ve never seen a more vicious woman than you! Even your own sister is driven by you to attempt suicide!"
