Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure
Chapter 67: She Hates Herself
CHAPTER 67: CHAPTER 67: SHE HATES HERSELF
"Fire Shannon Shaw."
Ethan Grant closed the computer and said calmly. Yvette Sterling, unsurprised by his decision, was about to leave to handle this matter when she heard the man’s cold and sinister voice, "Shannon stole Miss Quinn’s jewelry. Provide the police with enough evidence, and also, anyone who dares to hire Shannon Shaw is opposing The Grant Corporation!"
This was an absolute shutdown of Shannon Shaw, pushing her into a dead end.
If Serena Sullivan hadn’t retaliated, or if they hadn’t installed surveillance in secret, the person locked up in the police station would have been Serena Sullivan!
This was something Shannon Shaw brought upon herself.
"Yes!"
After Yvette left, Ethan Grant opened the computer again, and on the screen appeared Serena Sullivan. She smiled slightly at the camera, and he followed with a smile, reaching out to gently trace her visage on the screen.
After Shannon Shaw was taken away, Serena, seated in her wheelchair, looked at the people still watching from outside the door and smiled as she spoke, "Have you all seen enough?"
"We realized early on that Shannon Shaw was suspicious."
Someone quickly agreed, and they all felt embarrassed for having believed Shannon Shaw’s words and slandering Serena Sullivan.
Serena Sullivan is the wife of The Grant Corporation’s boss. If she truly wanted any jewelry, not only domestic gold medal pieces but even international ones, Mr. Grant could buy them.
"Since you’ve watched enough drama, ladies and gentlemen, please leave now."
Serena Sullivan accepted their apologies with a smile; she didn’t take their earlier behavior to heart.
As a bystander, Shannon Shaw pushed her limits, Zoe Quinn cried pitiably, and Serena Sullivan was once a "plagiarist." Anyone would be deceived and might stand by Shannon and her party.
Allowing them to linger at the door, Serena wanted that contrasting effect, so next time she encountered anything, they might not immediately mock her.
"Mrs. Grant, then we’ll be leaving first." They offered sheepish smiles only to Serena Sullivan, ignoring the weeping Zoe, who wiped away the tears at the corner of her eyes while gazing at the departing crowd.
These people are truly opportunists!
Someday, she will make The Grant Corporation people only acknowledge her as the Mrs. Grant.
The office finally calmed down, and Serena Sullivan didn’t return to her seat to work; instead, she left pushing her wheelchair.
Zoe Quinn watched Serena leave, glanced at Designer Cheney who had lowered his head and entered work mode, and her eyes darkened as she followed outside.
At The Grant Corporation, where Serena Sullivan had stayed for quite some time, she clearly felt the care given to people with disabilities, such as in the restrooms.
Being someone who had lost the use of her legs, what she dreaded most was using the restroom.
These years outside, she had special caregivers beside her, but over time, she needed to replace them.
When staying too long with a "useless" person, they outwardly showed no displeasure, but Serena Sullivan herself despised herself.
Returning to Solaria and entering The Grant Corporation, Serena’s biggest concern was using the restroom, so on her first day she drank very little water, but later discovered that the design here at The Grant Corporation was so user-friendly; at least she didn’t need anyone’s help, nor did she fear accidentally falling on the tiles.
After using the restroom and exiting the cubicle, Serena Sullivan looked up, only to be met with a cold visage staring intently at her.
The venomous gaze was chilling, and no one would believe that this was the true face of Claire Sullivan’s cherished stepdaughter—Zoe Quinn.
Serena merely paused, her lips curling up, showing no fear towards Zoe Quinn’s face.
To put it another way, this face was the one she knew best!
