Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure

CHAPTER 86: CHAPTER 86: NONE OF THEM ARE BY HER SIDE
"I’m also doing it for myself, hoping she’ll quickly find happiness. But Ethan doesn’t like her, and The Grant Family doesn’t accept her. Why is she so stubborn!"
Zoe Quinn continued.
These words moved Claire Sullivan. She thought of the two people from The Grant Family, thought of Ethan Grant and Zoe Quinn, and sighed helplessly, "She doesn’t want to come, I have no choice."
Every time she faced Serena Sullivan, Claire Sullivan would always think of her radiant and dazzling past demeanor, and the guilt and insecurity that sprouted in her heart would torment her, making her very annoyed.
Zoe Quinn looked at Claire Sullivan with disdain, thinking she was useless for not being able to handle such small matters. The more she thought about it, the angrier she became, her face turning unsightly.
Fortunately, Claire Sullivan was preoccupied with thoughts about Serena, and didn’t notice Zoe Quinn’s changing expression.
"Young Master Grant has something tonight, he won’t be coming over for dinner," Joel Quinn glanced at Zoe Quinn and spoke at the right moment. Her expression changed again.
"Serena also doesn’t like coming here, so I’m organizing a banquet at a hotel outside. Claire, how do you feel about that?"
Joel Quinn reached out to hold Claire Sullivan’s hand, as if seeking her opinion.
"Okay, sounds good." Claire Sullivan had no objections to Joel Quinn’s arrangement.
"Then I’ll go invite my sister." Zoe Quinn said with a smile, thinking it would be futile to send Claire Sullivan again, better if she went herself.
"Then, Zoe, please." Claire Sullivan replied with a smile, truly hoping Serena would not get involved with Ethan Grant again.
Zoe Quinn turned to see Joel Quinn’s eyes filled with amusement, and her smile grew wider.
Suddenly, it began to rain outside, pattering against the bedroom window.
Serena Sullivan lingered in the neighborhood garden for a while and got soaked by the sudden downpour. When she returned, a servant helped her change.
The servant who had just prepared dinner was quite unhappy. She could have gone downstairs to rest, but upon hearing Serena’s request, she begrudgingly fetched clothes to help her change, muttering about her hard work, her actions swift and forceful, causing Serena some pain several times.
Serena remained silent, finally asking the servant to get her a hairdryer so she could do it herself.
As she blew her hair and looked outside, the rain didn’t seem likely to stop anytime soon. Just as she finished, her phone on the table rang.
"Serena, I’m going crazy." Anna Morgan said angrily in the video.
"What’s going on?"
"Sean Lockwood, that idiot, didn’t check the weather and asked me to go hiking, leaving me soaked to the skin."
Through the video, Serena saw Anna Morgan in a room and asked, "Where are you now?"
"Oh, a hotel at the foot of the mountain, but we can’t return to the city today." Anna continued, "Do you think he’s plotting something, suddenly inviting me to hike after I argued with him over Zoe Quinn a few days ago?"
Because Zoe Quinn mentioned that Anna Morgan had slapped her twice, Sean Lockwood confronted Anna, and when Anna’s temper flared, they began to fight, leading to a heated unrest.
Usually, Anna Morgan took the initiative to make peace during conflicts.
