Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure
Chapter 94
CHAPTER 94: CHAPTER 94
With the voice of the eldest Shaw brother, the atmosphere around them surged.
In front of outsiders, Zoe Quinn appeared fragile, easily causing others to feel a desire to protect her.
At the wedding with Ethan Grant, she disappeared, and Serena Sullivan took her place to marry Ethan, gaining a great wave of sympathy.
Now, Zoe Quinn tried to snatch Ethan Grant by offering Serena Sullivan to the Shaw brother, a vile and wicked scheme that reshaped everyone’s perception of her!
So, at this moment, no one felt sympathy for Zoe Quinn, and everyone took photos with their cameras or phones with enthusiasm.
At today’s banquet, Zoe Quinn intentionally invited many reporters and guests to watch the drama, all to ruin Serena Sullivan.
Unexpectedly, she ended up hoisting a rock only to drop it on her own foot, with herself being the one destroyed.
"You’re lying!"
At this point, Zoe Quinn insisted that the Shaw brother was trying to harm her and that he was threatened by Serena and her associates.
"I never told you to touch my sister."
With tears in her eyes, Zoe Quinn looked at Serena Sullivan, "Sister, you must believe me."
In her blurry vision, Serena Sullivan’s smiling face increasingly agitated Zoe Quinn, making her cry harder to cover up the hatred inside her heart.
"The Shaw brother was forced to say this, otherwise why would he be lying naked on the bed."
Switching tactics, Zoe Quinn hinted that the Shaw brother’s sudden accusation against her was under Serena’s and Finn Chandler’s coercion.
"Shaw brother, did someone hit you?"
With tears glistening, Zoe Quinn looked hopefully at the Shaw brother.
The Shaw brother was startled; he indeed had been hit, and he behaved after being beaten.
"Someone must have abused their power here." Zoe Quinn wiped away the tears from her eyes and glanced at Serena Sullivan sitting in a wheelchair nearby, "I never told the Shaw brother to harm my sister."
He was slandering, being coerced.
With so many people watching, Zoe Quinn didn’t believe they couldn’t see the Shaw brother had been threatened.
"Whether or not power was abused, we’ll know soon enough."
Serena Sullivan looked at the still "jumping around" and "struggling" Zoe Quinn and spoke with a light smile.
Sure enough, it wasn’t even a minute before someone shouted, "The sheriff is here."
Following him were the hosts of the banquet—Joel Quinn and Claire Sullivan.
"Zoe, what’s going on?"
Claire Sullivan squeezed through the crowd, first seeing Serena Sullivan with a faint smile on the wheelchair, then turning to see Zoe Quinn with red swollen eyes, sobbing; she quickly went over to ask.
"Mom!"
Seeing her protector arrive, Zoe Quinn said aggrievedly and cried even more sadly, "Thank goodness you’re here!"
"What happened?"
Claire Sullivan asked while looking around.
The room was full of reporters and guests, and the sheriff had arrived too.
"Who reported this?"
Before Zoe Quinn could cry and tell Claire Sullivan what happened, the sheriff entered and asked aloud.
"I did!" Finn Chandler pushed Serena Sullivan in front of the sheriff, and Serena looked at the Shaw brother beside her, "He suddenly broke into the room, intending to harm me!"
The Shaw brother getting into trouble with women and ending up at the police station wasn’t a first, but this time was different; he didn’t get his way and was beaten up.
He wanted to explain but caught sight of Finn Chandler’s cold face behind him, and pointed at Zoe Quinn, who was crying in Claire Sullivan’s arms, "It’s her! She’s the one who told me to sleep with Serena."
If I’m going down, we’re all going down; no one gets away!
