Mr. Sterling, Mrs. Sterling is Multifaceted!
Chapter 114: Chaos at the Wedding Ceremony
CHAPTER 114: CHAPTER 114: CHAOS AT THE WEDDING CEREMONY
In the garden villa, the wedding site had long been arranged, filled with roses, and the red carpet extended all the way to the living room.
The specially invited officiant stood at the front, and the ceremony was about to begin.
Old Mrs. Lynch sat in the front wearing her best clothes, happily listening to Lena’s flattery.
Lena and Mia had already emptied their stomachs five times but managing to hold on until now was not easy, and at this moment, they had to endure discomfort and force a smile.
Today, Mia must marry into the Lynch Family, otherwise, the mother and daughter are completely finished.
"Leo is my favorite grandson; as long as it’s a girl he likes, I will like her too."
Old Mrs. Lynch smiled kindly. The Redgrave mother and daughter had fabricated a bunch of pleasantries for her benefit, making the old lady think it was because Leo and Mia feared she was too old to attend a large wedding, so they were holding a small ceremony under her knees first, and then a bigger one later.
In reality, Leo’s parents were unaware of this deceit today.
"With Old Mrs. Lynch so fond of Leo, our Mona is going to enjoy some benefits."
Lena forced a spirit to smile and said.
The wedding march had already begun, and the villa doors slowly opened.
Mia and Leo appeared at the villa entrance, with sunlight shining on the lovely couple holding hands. Mia held the bride’s bouquet, her face no longer pale, presumably with another layer of makeup.
Lena looked at Seraphina, her eyes somewhat damp.
She had imagined countless times what kind of wedding her beloved daughter would have, but now her daughter had to marry in this small garden.
Leo looked at Mia, smiled gently, and then the two walked forward together.
They walked until they stood before Old Mrs. Lynch. The officiant looked at the two, and with a full-faced smile, began: "Lord, we come before you, witnessing the blessing of this man and woman entering the sacred bond of marriage. As per the Lord’s will, they shall be united as one, respecting the ceremony to live together for a lifetime, unchanging for eternity; from now on, they will walk the heavenly path together in joy, love, support, teach, and trust each other; may the Heavenly Father bestow blessings upon their home, and may the Holy Spirit inspire them to honor the Savior, praising Him for life and all eternity."
Mia’s eyes flashed with calculation.
They were about to become husband and wife.
Soon, she would become the second young mistress of the Lynch Family.
They struck a lethal blow against Seraphina, and Ethan probably doesn’t know how he’ll deal with them. The current strategy was to tightly hold onto Leo as their lifeline.
Even if Ethan eventually wanted to deal with the Lynch Family, Leo could send Mia and Lena abroad to at least save their lives.
"Miss Mia, do you wish for this man to become your husband, to enter into a marriage covenant with him; to love, care for, respect, accept, and remain faithful to him through health and sickness, and any other reason, until the end of life?"
Mia was so moved that tears almost fell: "I do."
"Do you wish for this woman to become your wife, to enter into a marriage covenant with her; to love, care for, respect, accept, and remain faithful to her through health and sickness, and any other reason, until the end of life?"
For some reason, when listening to this vow, Leo’s mind suddenly conjured up the image of a frail figure holding a gift squatting by the laboratory door.
Seeing Leo lose focus, Mia was somewhat displeased and coughed lightly, prompting Leo back to reality, looking at Mia, feeling somewhat guilty.
He had already decided to marry Mia, how could he still...
"I..."
Before he could speak, a voice from outside interrupted his consciousness.
"Grandma!"
The servant stumbled into the villa, directly falling onto the red carpet.
"What are you doing!"
Old Mrs. Lynch exclaimed annoyedly.
"Grandma, someone’s causing trouble." The servant seemed scared, "They brought a coffin!"
Upon hearing this, no one had a pleasant expression.
Today was supposed to be the grand public wedding ceremony of the third master, how could someone do such a thing?
Mia and Lena looked at each other, their eyes filled with dread.
The Lynch Family was no small corporation, who dares to have such audacity?
"Who dares to cause trouble at our Lynch Family."
"I do."
A cold female voice came from the door.
Lena’s body completely went limp upon hearing this voice.
A huge crystal coffin entered through the door.
Granny Coleman hugged Granny Ford’s portrait, looking at Lena with an expression as if she were about to devour her.
"Crash!"
The coffin was placed on the ground by the bodyguards, accurately resting on the red carpet surrounded by rose petals.
A young girl walked through the door, dressed in a black dress with high heels, her long black hair tied at the back revealing her slender and fair neck.
She walked in front of the coffin, her aura was pure, but with the addition of this black attire and the undisguised hatred in her eyes, her entire presence became sharp.
"Seraphina?"
Leo looked at Seraphina with astonishment.
She loved him so much? To disrupt his and Mia’s wedding with a coffin?
Upon seeing Seraphina, Mia almost collapsed to the ground.
"Leo, is this your friend?"
Old Mrs. Lynch asked displeasedly, no one could tolerate someone disrupting their beloved grandson’s wedding.
Hearing this, Mia cried and knelt at the old lady’s feet: "Grandma, this is the girl who has been infatuated with Leo, since I started dating Leo she has done everything to trouble me, she bullied me at school, even bullied my good friend into dropping out!"
"What!" Old Mrs. Lynch was furious, looking at Seraphina without a kind face: "Whose child are you, daring to do such things!"
In Sovereign, one needs to understand the other party’s family background before taking action.
Seraphina stood in her spot, a mocking smile curling on her lips, and took a seat beside Lena, glancing at the trembling Lena.
Lena flinched violently, nearly falling off the chair, quickly averting her gaze.
Then Seraphina looked at Old Mrs. Lynch: "Old Mrs. Lynch, I have no grudge against you, logically speaking this coffin shouldn’t disturb you, but since you can’t recognize people, allowing them to marry, don’t blame me."
Seraphina’s tone was indifferent, yet left no room for negotiation.
"You!"
Old Mrs. Lynch was so angry she almost couldn’t speak.
Seeing this scene, Leo stood in front of Seraphina, frowning: "Seraphina, don’t you think you are going too far?"
Even if you loved him to the point of obsession, doing something like this...
"Bring Lena and Mia out, and I’ll take the coffin away immediately."
Seraphina looked at Leo’s gentle and handsome face: "Otherwise, everyone here will have to accompany the person in the coffin."
Her eyes contained irresistible sting.
Leo looked at Seraphina’s expression, stunned.
"Leo..."
