Mr. Tycoon's Beloved Wife: The Madam No One Dares to Offend
Chapter 102: What Did You Two Do Just Now?
CHAPTER 102: WHAT DID YOU TWO DO JUST NOW?
As soon as Hilla returned, she saw Halle standing in the courtyard and feeding the dogs.
Bruce was not here. It seemed that Halle deliberately stood in the courtyard to block her instead of feeding the dogs.
Hilla frowned. She thought, Have I done something bad that made Halle deliberately stand here?
Is there anything she can’t say in the room, or is it inconvenient in the room? Is Bruce inside?
Hilla felt nervous and walked over slowly. She looked at Halle and called in a low voice, "Halle!"
"When you came back, you ran out immediately. Did someone invite you?"
Halle wasn’t asking but denouncing her.
And she felt a little strange about her question.
"I heard that Pear Garden and Mulberry Garden in the village are quite famous, so I went to take a look."
"Do you think I’m foolish? The leaves of the pear tree haven’t grown out yet. What are you going to see? You left him alone in the yard. Aren’t you afraid that he will be unhappy?"
Halle was talking about Bruce.
Hilla was a little guilty at first, but after Halle said this, she couldn’t help complaining, "It’s none of my business whether he is happy or not. Why am I so afraid of him?"
"You are stubborn!"
"Not. What I said is the truth. I also have my freedom. He always stares at me. This is a disguised house arrest for me. I have to resist."
Hilla muttered. Even if she died, she could not say that she had seen Roger and not only was she confessed to, but she was almost kissed.
She originally thought of Roger as a friend, but he wanted her to be his girlfriend.
She had miscalculated and felt a little guilty.
Although she felt sorry for Bruce, she definitely could not lose face. As a woman, she had dignity.
"Don’t think that just because you don’t tell him, he won’t know. He is so smart. How can he not know that you went to see another man?"
"Halle, Roger, and I are innocent."
"As expected, you went to see Roger."
Halle had a rough guess from what Lilian had said, and from the looks of Hilla, she was even more certain. "He confessed to you," she said.
"You’re so great, and you can guess that. But I have rejected him."
Hilla said seriously, almost saying that she was a married woman.
Halle smiled and said, "I can guess, and he can probably guess as well. No wonder I saw his bad expression when I returned."
When the man felt jealousy sometimes, they were much more terrifying than women.
Although Halle had never experienced the feeling of being cared for by her husband and loved, she still understood it when she saw Hilla.
In the past, she was very worried about Bruce. The Holt family had lost, and Hilla had no value at all. She was afraid that her sister would repeat her sad life.
Under the scorching sun, she held a bottle of soy sauce and stood under the sunlight. The feeling of being roasted was like being tortured in a pot of oil. She didn’t want to experience that feeling again, and she didn’t want her sister to experience it.
"Is Bruce very angry?"
Hilla frowned and carefully looked around the room. She didn’t see Bruce. She thought, "He is usually very tall. Why can he hide so well now?"
Halle smiled and said, "If he’s angry, you should go in and coax him!"
"Why should I coax him?"
Halle said, "Do I have to coax him?"
"As a thirty-year-old man, does he need to be coaxed? Isn’t it embarrassing?"
Although Halle’s words were full of dislike and reluctance, Hilla still entered the room obediently.
Halle glanced at it and quietly closed the door. She lowered her head and said to the two fat and strong dogs, "This girl is usually fearless and looks pretty smart, but her reaction is a little slow. I’m afraid that she will be bullied by Bruce in the future."
Although Halle said so, there was no worry on her face. She took the dogs to Lilian’s house.
She had promised to eat hotpot tonight, so she wanted to see how the dishes were prepared.
In the room, Hilla showed her head through the door.
She looked at Bruce, who was sitting on the bed, and laughed, "I’m back!"
It seemed as if nothing had happened.
Bruce raised his eyelids slightly and slowly said, "Why are you so fast? You haven’t
seen each other for a few days. Why don’t you say more?"
His words showed that Bruce felt jealousy.
Hilla didn’t feel that she was wrong at first, but she felt a little guilty that Roger almost had kissed her.
Just now, when she had been reminded by Halle, she realized that Bruce was astute.
He had seen the content of her message just now, but he still pretended to let her go out with indifference.
When she came back from outside, he acted very seriously. Now it seemed that she was on trial for dating another man.
"I am not familiar with him. What should I talk to him?"
Hilla muttered. She couldn’t help but frown, "Bruce, are you angry?"
"Correctly!"
He agreed with her.
Hilla was stunned. She thought, "It is abnormal for you as a broad-minded and magnanimous president. How could you get angry so easily?"
However, he had already said that he was angry. If she still pretended not to know, it did not seem right.
Hilla whispered, "Do you need to be coaxed?"
"What do you want to do?"
Bruce asked her this question sincerely. Hilla was startled and didn’t expect that he wanted her to coax him.
If she couldn’t give him a satisfactory answer, wouldn’t he be even angrier?
Hilla suddenly felt nervous. She hadn’t done anything. She went to meet Roger because of the friendship, although this friendship had disappeared in her mind.
"What do you want me to do?"
She was also an obedient girl. She was not ashamed to ask. This was not wrong.
In any case, it seemed that Bruce was not easy to be coaxed. Rather than making him even more unhappy, it was better to ask him what he wanted to do.
Bruce stared at Hilla’s dark and deep eyes. His gaze was very calm.
After a long while, when Hilla thought that Bruce was not going to say any conditions, he said, "Come here, and let me kiss you."
Hilla felt shocked.
She thought Bruce was so shameless.
Hilla stood here and was unable to recover from his shock.
She was wondering if she should turn around and run out now, or just use a pillow to cover Bruce.
"Hilla, come here and let me kiss you."
Bruce, who was sitting on the bed, urged unhurriedly. His gloomy and handsome face seemed to be saying, "I can’t wait any longer!"
...
Hilla sneaked a glance at the door and carefully moved forward. She lowered her head with a red face and whispered, "It’s embarrassing if my sister comes back later."
"You did not feel embarrassed when you dated another man." Bruce said coldly with a half-smile, which made Hilla’s flesh creep.
He knew this. Then why didn’t he stop her just now? He blamed her after she came back! This was a man!
"When did I date another man?"
Hilla muttered in a low voice. Then, she moved closer to Bruce. After she glanced at the window, she quickly kissed Bruce’s lips.
It was so fast that Bruce didn’t have time to react.
Bruce was stunned, but Hilla quickly shrunk, covering her face.
"Don’t be angry. I’ve already apologized."
Hilla wanted to run after that, but her wrist was grabbed by Bruce, and the next second, she fell into Bruce’s arms.
Before she could notice, the man’s figure flashed before her eyes. She felt warm on her lips. His hands held the back of her head and waist. Then he deepened the kiss.
She was thunderstruck. There seemed to have a firework exploding in her brain.
The colorful sight blinded her eyes, and there seemed only to have the familiar and stiff masculine scent in her nose.
"Lilian just brought the vegetables she picked in the shed. I took a few since they are fresh. Hilla, what happened to your face?"
Halle came back with a bowl of vegetables. As soon as she entered, she saw Hilla on the pit with a red face. Hilla lowered her head shyly. Halle was stunned at first, and then glanced at Bruce besides. Only then did she regain her senses. She whispered, "Hilla is clumsy. Please wash the dishes, Mr. Anderson."
What was going on? She only went to pick some vegetables!
It seemed that this couple was still on their honeymoon period.
Hilla wanted to retort, but Bruce already went out with those vegetables.
Hilla pouted her lips and said in a low voice, "I’m not clumsy."
"What did you two do just now?"
Halle asked so bluntly, but Hilla suddenly panicked. She got stuck, stuttering, "No, we didn’t do anything."
"Look at your lips. You don’t know how to clean the crimes!"
Halle shook her head. Hilla touched her moist red lips guiltily at this.
Her lips were swollen because of Bruce’s violent kiss?
Hilla stayed with Halle in the countryside for a night. The next day, she and Bruce returned to River City.
Hilla didn’t say anything along the way. She ran away the moment the car stopped. "Bruce, what’s the matter? You didn’t come back all night. Did you go to the hotel..."
Margaret was eager to know if something happened when she saw them. But Hilla ran away in a minute. She didn’t even have a chance to ask.
However, her interest grew bigger when she saw this.
Bruce stopped her with a single glance. He glanced upstairs and said seriously, "Don’t think nonsense. Go study. It’s time to start school."
He would always find a way to remind her that!
Margaret felt a burst of pain at the thought of resuming class. She was afraid that she had a heart attack.
"If it wasn’t for such a difficult lesson, would I still have not graduated from university? I’m too old for school."
Margaret felt hopeless about her learning ability. If she continued like this, she would never graduate from university even at the age of thirty.
"You want to be illiterate?"
Bruce frowned. It was very obvious that he disliked this idea. He probably was the only one who got the most outstanding genes from his family.
"Hey! I went to senior school. This can’t be called illiteracy. There are so many junior high school graduates."
Margaret muttered in a low voice, but she did not dare to say more. She also made this kind of proposal in the past. The result was that Orlenna locked her in the room and almost starved her to death.
Her mother was ruthless if she wanted to. Her brother was also not easy to talk to.
Forget it! Studying is just a little hard. At least she can still live.
It was just that it was too difficult to be an outstanding university graduate!
"Bruce, why don’t I transfer to another school? Isn’t it good to be in the same school as Hilla? I heard that she is good at study, and she even got a scholarship."
Sure enough, Bruce gave her a look, then said, "She’s smart, but you are not."
Was she that stupid?
Margaret looked at Bruce as he went upstairs and gritted her teeth.
He was really becoming less and less cute ever since he married. She was his sister!
Did he know?!
In the blink of an eye, it was the first day of a new semester. Hilla was prepared to go to school. As soon as she stepped out of the house, Margaret’s head poked out from the passenger seat of her red Maserati.
"Hilla, good morning!"
"Why are you ... in my car?"
Hilla frowned and saw Bruce walking out of the house.
Margaret smiled like a blooming rose. She blushed and said, "I beg my brother to transfer me to River University. We will be classmates in the future. Are you happy?"
Being classmates with a twenty-six-year-old sister- in- law who had not even graduated from university. What was there for her to be happy about?
"There are so many good universities. Why do you want to go to River University?"
She thought that Margaret would go abroad to study. She did not expect that Margaret would actually give up her studies abroad and come back. Didn’t that mean that Bruce could keep watch on her more easily? Her freedom seemed to be hard to regain.
"Because of you. We can go and come together. It’s so convenient."
Hilla actually felt that this reason was reasonable and had nothing to refute.
Margaret seemed to be in a particularly good mood. She secretly winked at Bruce and waved her hand, "Bruce, don’t worry. I will definitely take good care of Hilla."
Bruce nodded silently and got into his car.
Hilla twitched her mouth. She was afraid that might not be the case.
Margaret waved at her and smiled, "Let’s go. It’s my first day at River University. You can take me to register."
Hilla only thought, "I know what you are thinking! You little spy!"
Fortunately, she was well-behaved at school. She never had too many interactions with any male classmates. It was not that easy to get the goods on her... There was no way.
Hilla spoke to herself. And she also cursed Bruce secretly.
Of course, she did not forget to remind herself that with Margaret, this high-energy gossip, she had to keep a distance from male classmates at any time.
She was not afraid of Bruce. She was just trying to show her noble character.
