CHAPTER 29: CHAPTER 29 TUSHAN HONGHONG MEETS THE DEITY_1

Eternal Continent.

Within God’s kingdom.

"DING. A strand of Power of Faith detected. This time, with a millionfold amplification, you have obtained a million strands of Power of Faith."

It’s Tushan Rongrong. This Little Fox finally couldn’t resist taking the bait!

Hongmeng stopped his Cultivation, smiled faintly, and his Divine Sense followed the intangible channel of belief into the Fox Demon World.

He saw Tushan Rongrong, praying earnestly under the Love Sorrow Tree.

Tushan Rongrong had not yet grown up; she was still a little loli. Though called a little loli, Tushan Rongrong was actually at least a few hundred years old. As a Fox Demon, her growth was relatively slow.

With the prayer, the Power of Faith transformed into pure strength and surged into Tushan Rongrong’s body, causing her power to soar dramatically.

Her body also grew taller, as if she had aged two or three years in an instant.

My Cultivation Level has indeed improved! The God of Hongmeng is truly powerful!

Tushan Rongrong opened her eyes. Remembering the chaotic divine form of the God of Hongmeng she had just envisioned, she couldn’t help but feel shocked.

That divine form was simply too huge, unfathomably tall and vast. It was impossible to look at directly, impossible to discern. He sat in the Chaos as if he were the center of the universe and the heavens. Countless Ancient Universes were born and destroyed with his every breath, endlessly.

The divine grace obtained through prayer is but a drop in the ocean; preaching and offering Sacrifices are the way to swiftly enhance one’s power!

Tushan Rongrong stood up, her usually squinted eyes sparkling with a sharp gleam.

She was the smartest fox of Tushan, known as the Thousand-Faced Demon and called Tushan’s "strongest brain."

With the help of the God of Hongmeng, Big Sister Honghong’s wish for peaceful coexistence between humans and demons can soon be fulfilled! Moreover, the God of Hongmeng is so great that he might even revive that little Daoist. Then Big Sister Honghong won’t have to feel guilty anymore, and her heartache can finally be healed!

Excitement gleaming in her eyes, Tushan Rongrong quickly ran toward Tushan Honghong.

Years ago, when she was still young, she and Tushan Honghong had been captured by a wicked Daoist, who tormented them with a demon-suppressing talisman. A young, plain-looking Daoist had tried to save them, but Tushan Honghong, misunderstanding his intentions, had accidentally killed him. Before dying, the little Daoist tore off the demon-suppressing talisman, expressed his final wish—for humans and demons to coexist peacefully—and urged them to escape quickly.

The Fox Demon Power originates from profound emotions. Where emotions reach their peak, power is born.

After the little Daoist’s death, Tushan Honghong’s demonic power had surged dramatically, allowing her to defeat the wicked Daoist and successfully escape. Yet, the little Daoist’s death became an indelible scar in her heart.

"Big Sister!"

Tushan Rongrong found Tushan Honghong.

Tushan Honghong wore a red ancient dress with a white long-sleeved robe. Two red butterfly knots, each adorned with two small bells, were tied at both sides of her waistband. Her figure was slender and tall, her demeanor elegant yet imposing. She had a pair of fox-like ears with pale pink fluff inside and golden-orange hair that cascaded to her waist. Her hair was tied up at the ends with red butterfly knots, also holding two small bells. She was barefoot, wearing golden anklets with bells.

"Your Cultivation Level has improved quite a bit. Not bad," Tushan Honghong remarked as she turned around. Her pale green eyes looked at Tushan Rongrong; though her words were praise, her voice remained calm, and her expression showed no ripple of emotion.

"Big Sister, I may have found a way to revive the little Daoist!" Tushan Rongrong said, her voice earnest. "Even if we can’t revive him, achieving peaceful coexistence between humans and demons won’t be a problem!"

As Tushan Rongrong finished speaking, Tushan Honghong’s usually serene demeanor suddenly changed, and a terrifying demonic power leaked out.

"Do you realize what you’re saying?" Tushan Honghong’s voice turned somewhat cold. She had never heard of any resurrection technique, so she didn’t believe Tushan Rongrong’s words.

"Big Sister, I have a copy of the "Meditation Method" here. Just recite it with me, and once you’re done, you’ll understand!" Tushan Rongrong didn’t elaborate, her eyes firm with conviction as she added, "If you find out then that I’ve lied to you, I’m willing to accept any punishment!"

Tushan Honghong silently looked at Tushan Rongrong, her face devoid of expression, saying nothing. Tushan Rongrong met her gaze without flinching. The wind seemed to die down, the air to solidify. The atmosphere grew oppressive.

After a long time, Tushan Honghong spoke, her voice calm, "Fine."

She didn’t believe it in her heart, but she wanted to see what trick Tushan Rongrong was playing, to see if she had been bewitched by someone.

Tushan Rongrong inwardly breathed a long sigh of relief. The first step was finally achieved.

She brought her hands together and prayed devoutly, "Hongmeng is boundless, the beginning of heaven and earth! Hongmeng is ultimate, the end of all things!"

Hearing this, Tushan Honghong’s delicate, beautiful, and usually expressionless face twitched. She really wanted to slap her cheeky little sister to death. What is this nonsense?

Tushan Rongrong, unaware of her sister’s thoughts, continued to pray earnestly, "Hongmeng is boundless, the destination of gods and demons! Hongmeng is ultimate, the cradle of Immortals and Buddhas!"

Tushan Honghong sighed inwardly. Thinking of how she had just agreed to Tushan Rongrong, and knowing she always kept her word, she couldn’t go back on it now. So, she began to pray along with Tushan Rongrong.

She decided in her heart that she would definitely punish Tushan Rongrong harshly later. She’s just as troublesome as Tushan Yaya.

However, as the prayers went on, Tushan Honghong’s expression began to change. At first, she was indifferent, even feeling ashamed. But now, she sat up straight, her voice growing more impassioned and magnificent.

When the last sentence fell, Tushan Honghong’s consciousness perceived an expanse of Endless Chaos.

She saw a muted grayness. There was no sky, no earth, no mountains or seas, no time or space. Yet, a single colossal figure stood there, towering from earth to heaven, eternal and ancient.

His mere presence gave her a suffocating sensation. Ancient. Holy. Majestic. As if he was The Sovereign of heaven and earth, the world’s only True God, eternal and unchanging.

Seeing him was like seeing the Path, like seeing the future.

Her consciousness seemed to traverse time and space. She witnessed a child named Dongfang Yuechu arriving at Tushan decades later. She saw him grow up. She saw him become the Leader of the Daoist Alliance. She saw him and her striving for peace between humans and demons. She saw her and him making a wish under the Love Sorrow Tree for a reunion in the next life.

She saw... a lifetime... and the next life.

God... There truly is a God in this world.

BOOM.

Tushan Honghong was shaken, her heart in turmoil, as a loud thunderclap sounded in the sky.

Tushan Honghong looked up. The void shattered, the world broke apart, and a pair of brilliant, indescribable sun and moon appeared.

Those were not the sun and moon. Those were the eyes of a God.

As their eyes met, Tushan Honghong’s spirit trembled.

She couldn’t describe what those divine eyes were like. They were like the dazzling sun, its brilliance spreading in all directions. They were like the sea of stars, encompassing all things. They were like Boundless Chaos, nurturing heaven and earth.

She found herself involuntarily captivated, wanting to draw closer.

At that moment, the surrounding scenery shattered like a mirror.

She suddenly opened her eyes, only to find Tushan Rongrong looking at her with wide eyes.

After a long while, Tushan Honghong suppressed the astonishment in her heart. She realized her Cultivation Level had increased.

At this moment, she understood why Tushan Rongrong’s Cultivation Level had suddenly skyrocketed. It wasn’t because of hard work, but because of... God!

"Did you see it too?" Tushan Honghong’s voice trembled slightly.

"Mm-hmm." Tushan Rongrong nodded. "Sister, I have a treasure in my mind that connects the beings of the Myriad of Realms. The God is among them. As long as we preach and make Sacrifices for God, we can receive divine grace. I saw people from other worlds making Sacrifices..."

Tushan Rongrong told Tushan Honghong about the chat group and the Sacrifices the other members were making.

Tushan Honghong conducted a full-body checkup on Tushan Rongrong. She wanted to investigate the chat group Tushan Rongrong mentioned, but unfortunately, she found nothing. Everything was normal.

It’s to be expected. How could a small Fox Demon like me discover something on that level! Tushan Honghong laughed at herself, then said, "So, reviving the little Daoist you mentioned means asking a Divine Spirit to intervene?"

"Yes, Sister! As long as we prepare enough Sacrifices and spread the glory of the Divine Spirit across the world, we should be able to ask our God to revive the little Daoist," Tushan Rongrong continued. "At the same time, when all beings under heaven become followers of our God, wouldn’t peaceful coexistence between humans and demons be realized!"

Praying grants divine grace, and preaching and offering Sacrifices yield even greater divine grace. Can the Divine Spirit truly gain benefits from this? Tushan Honghong thought about how her Cultivation Level had increased significantly after just one prayer. It seemed that the Divine Spirit was losing out.

But would a Divine Spirit make a losing deal? Clearly not. Unless there’s a bigger conspiracy...
