My Alpha mate, Ethan Hawthorne, brought his mistress into our pack
Alpha Novel 296
Finally, Alexander looked up and met my eyes. “Yes, I’m busy today since my other assistant spent the morning downstairs.”
Hisment was like a sharp p to the face. I stepped back and narrowed my eyes. I was just about to tell him how well my secretary meeting went and how muchworking I did, but I didn’t even want to be in the same space as him right now.
“Enjoy your lunch,” I snapped and
spun around.
I didn’t even hear him get up, but just when I reached for the door handle, Alexander gently shut the door and wrapped his warm arms around my waist. Instinctively, I leaned against his muscled body, and on their own ord, my eyes fluttered closed. My rational mind jumped ship as I was surrounded by Alexander’s masculine scent that reminded me of freshly chopped wood and the warmth of a roaring fire. If I died at this moment, I would be happier
than ever.
His hand on my waist tightened, and he pulled me even closer to him, my soft back against his hard front. When I felt his hard length press against my ass, I gasped. He gently tucked a lock of my hair behind my ear. Our heartbeats matched, and when I turned slightly to look him in the eyes, our breaths intertwined.
To my annoyance, my rational mind decided to make another appearance. I tried to fight my attraction for this infuriating man, but I couldn’t even bring myself to move away.
“You should go eat,” I said in a shaking voice. “Your chicken will get cold, and then it will taste dry.”
“But if I move away, then you will be cold,” Alexander whispered in my ear, making me shiver. “I’d rather my food get cold than you.”
“I could get a jacket or a…a…” I couldn’t think of anything else as Alexander turned me around to look at him. He put his arms around my waist and pulled me even closer into his warmth. “You always get the chicken,” I said, trying a new tactic. “You’re one of the most eligible bachelors in the world. One dish can’t make you happy. You should widen palette, try some new dishes and…i” /iiI /iwas trying to make an analogy for how he should date other women other than me, but even just implying it made me sick to my stomach.

Alexander’s eyes sparked with anger, and he cupped my face with his warm hands. “There is only one dish for me,” he growled, and then his lips were on mine.
He pushed me up against the wall as his mouth explored mine. Alexander’s hands traveled down to my waist, and his grip was possessive as he held my hips. He tasted me like I was thest sip of water, and he was dying of thirst. His tongue dominated mine in a way that made an electric bolt go down my body.
I wanted him. I wanted everything that he had to give me. My fingers threaded through his dark hair as he picked me up and wrapped my legs around his waist. I let out a loud moan when his hard length pressed against my warm center. My eyes flew open when I realized my mistake. We were in the office, and anyone could hear me. We hadn’t even locked the door.
Alexander pped his hand over my mouth, then kissed his way down my neck, flicking his tongue over the shell of my car.
“You have to be quiet, baby girl,” he whispered in a raspy voice.
My stomach swooped when I got a good look at him. His eyes were hooded, his hair was tousled from my fingers, and his lips were red and swollen.
I’d never desired him more.
