CHAPTER 297: WHAT HAVE I DONE?

****************

Chapter 297

~Valerie’s POV~

I was dripping for them, and the scent of my arousal filled the air.

My mates looked and felt different. Their aura was ignited.

Was I... Did I do that to them?

Astra howled in my head, begging for more, urging me to give in. My body arched, trapped between them all—my mind unravelling.

And then I said it, said the very words they ached to hear. The words that meant I had sold my soul, body and heart to them. "I want you."

A breathless chorus of growls answered and four Alphas snapped.

My thighs were slick with sweat and my wetness.

A breathless chorus of growls answered, and four Alphas snapped.

Dristan moved first, gripping my chin and crashing his mouth to mine, consuming with all his heat and dominance.

His kiss devoured my resistance. My hands balled into his shirt, my knees weakening. His tongue swept over mine, bruising and possessive, claiming everything.

Then Kai was there, tugging me back by the hips as Dristan’s lips released me. His mouth replaced the fire with something softer—slow, deep and torturous... like he’d savour every inch of me.

My breath caught as his fingers dug into my waist, my body arcing into his. His kiss tasted like cinnamon and control—and it ruined me.

Xade didn’t wait for his turn. He stalked up beside me, his lips brushing the shell of my ear as he murmured, "Mine," before taking my neck between his teeth—not biting, but pressing just hard enough to make my pulse roar.

Then his lips found mine as I turned to look at him, desperate, dizzy. His kiss was dangerously wild, like he’d burn the world down if it meant being inside me.

Axel was last, but his hands were already roaming. He yanked my tie loose and flicked open the top buttons of my white shirt in a teasing manner.

"Let’s see you," he rasped, undoing another, and another. My bra peeked out—black lace stretched tight against my chest, my skin flushed and heaved.

The composed Valerie was long gone. I shuddered under his touch as the cold air kissed my skin.

"You’re trembling," Axel purred, brushing a thumb across my exposed cleavage. "So beautiful like this."

He kissed me too, tongue licking into my mouth as his hands slid up to cup me through my bra. I gasped into him, and the others pressed closer, surrounding me, trapping me.

My wolf was clawing to the surface now. Astra didn’t hold back the blood, didn’t shield me from the heat.

She wanted them... this. And I did too.

Kai, behind me, stepped a bit closer, his hands parting my thighs, and I didn’t stop him. I couldn’t.

I whimpered, desperate for more of their touch. With every second that passed with their hands on my body, my skin was on fire. Still, I knew my release was only through them.

Axel yanked my panties to the side just enough for Kai’s hand to slide in and his fingers plunged between my legs.

A moan ripped out of me.

I was surprised Kai and Dristan weren’t possessive enough at this moment to shield me from the others.

Only heaven knew the agreement they had come to in my absence for them to all attack and want me like this.

Xade dropped to his knees in front of me, his mouth instantly replacing Kai’s hand.

And the second his tongue lapped at the slick heat between my thighs at my core while his fingers dug a little into my ass, holding me steady, I moaned deeply, feeling my body quake from the intense pleasure I was getting all at once.

Dristan kissed me again fiercely, mirroring his need, and I let him have all of me, tongue, breath, soul.

I wasn’t Valerie Snow right now. I wasn’t strong, composed, or in control. I was just a mate in heat, surrendering to her alphas.

"You’re ours, Valerie. You’re mine," Dristan whispered. "Tell me how much you want me to ravish you."

"I—"

BANG.

The doors slammed open.

"What the... fuck is going on here?"

Everything stopped.

Xade’s mouth froze between my legs. Kai’s fingers stilled, buried deep. Axel’s hand was still on my shirt, lips hot against my spine.

And Dristan pulled back slowly, shielding me with his body.

My breath came in short, sharp gasps. My legs were jelly. My panties were still slightly pulled aside, and my throat was raw from moaning their names.

I couldn’t look. I didn’t want to look, and neither did I let myself register the voice of the one who came, because whoever just walked in had caught me at my weakest.

And I didn’t know if I wanted to scream... or be dragged right back into the fire.

"Seriously, Isla. You couldn’t knock?" I heard Dristan’s deep voice question his cousin and from how heat seeped from him, I could tell he wasn’t pleased.

My eyes flicked to the door.

And there she stood.

"What are you doing to her?" Isla asked once more.

For a breath, no one moved.

Dristan’s lips were still parted. Kai’s hands were still gripping my hips like he’d have to be pried off. Axel’s fingers were still buried under my waistband. Xade’s mouth hovered near my core.

Frozen.

I stumbled back a step, heart hammering against my ribs, shame and fury blooming under my skin like wildfire.

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.

My lips were kiss-swollen. My shirt was open. My skirt was rumpled. And they were all staring at me like I was some kind of meal they’d been forced to stop devouring midway.

Axel was the first to move, casually sucking the tip of the finger he’d just pulled from my waistband. His eyes, however, didn’t leave Astraea’s.

"Well," he drawled, lazy and unbothered, "we are with our mate."

Xade let out a low snort, not moving from my front "You knock? We’re a little busy."

"Isla, return."

"I wanted Valerie..."

"Valerie is busy with us."

The sound of my name on Dristan’s tongue did something to me. Something that made my knees weak and my shame spiral deeper.

I yanked my shirt together, fastened a button or two as my fingers trembled.

"I... I need to go," I muttered, pushing past Kai, past Xade’s reaching hand, avoiding Dristan’s scorching gaze.

But before I could get far, Kai’s voice snapped out territorially. "We are not done, honey."

I froze.

He didn’t yell. He didn’t even move, but the way he said it—like a vow, like a fucking command—rooted me in place.

Still, I couldn’t look back with Isla watching, nor with my pulse on the verge of breaking or with the word mine still seared into my skin from where Xade bit me.

"Later," I said over my shoulder, my voice sharper than I felt.

I didn’t wait for a response.

I walked out.

My legs were jelly. My skin was still buzzing. My lips still tingling from Dristan’s kiss. But I kept walking, refusing to let the tears sting my eyes.

Refusing to look like the girl who almost begged to be taken apart in a classroom like some plaything.

Behind me, I could hear murmurs.

Xade’s low chuckle.

Kai’s snarl.

And Axel, loud enough for me to hear. "Our mate’s gonna break soon."

Then Dristan’s soft, steel-edged promise. "She’s already cracking. And when she do, we’ll be there."

I slammed the next door behind me.

But they weren’t wrong. Gods help me. They weren’t wrong.

As soon as I began walking, I heard the door open and Isla call out before me.

But rather than stopping, I ran off. It was probably nothing to be ashamed of but...

If my uncle saw, he’d declare this a moment of weakness.

Ht tears rolled down my cheeks at the thought of his disapproving stare. How had I let myself go like that?

Accept an ambush with my mates?

"No. You did this to yourself, Valerie. By not accepting them, accepting the bond, consummating it and marking each other, you let your heat spiral and the matebond’s pull become intense. You made them lose control."

I didn’t want to believe Astra’s words, but I could not deny that it was true either.

I was conflicted.

"It’s how powerful you are. For a normal werewolf, it wouldn’t be much of an issue, but you are not a normal werewolf. You are more. I can feel your power. I feel you. You must consummate the bond."

I shoved Astra out of my thoughts and kept on running, hoping to escape them until... my legs halted and I glanced around.

My breath hitched as I stared up at the house, my pulse thudding in my ears. Why? Because it wasn’t safety, I was running to. It was them.

I-I was standing in front of the Alpha Heirs’ house and not my dorm.

Without hesitation, I turned around, ready to go anywhere else but before I could leave, I spotted Ace walking in the direction of the house.

I panicked, opened the door and raced up the stairs, my heart clawing against my ribs.

I didn’t stop until I reached the room I was staying as I slammed the door shut, twisted the lock, and collapsed against it, breathless.

My skin still burned where they touched me. My lips ached with every breath.

But the worst part was that I didn’t regret the way I begged with my body while my pride screamed.

I wanted more and that terrified me. Because what if I couldn’t go back to who I was before them?

What if I didn’t want to?

I was losing myself. Or maybe... just maybe... I was finally finding who I really was.

Astra whispered again. "You’re changing, Valerie. This is just the beginning."
