Inside one of the meeting rooms in the Bai Group’s office tower, a gloomy atmosphere shrouded everyone.

As two female employees had served coffee to the shareholders, they tried not to make a sound. Once they served the last cup, they quickly pushed the serving trolley away and left the meeting room.

As soon as they exited, the other employees rushed over to them.

Another added, "Why are they suddenly calling a shareholders meeting?"

After making sure the meeting room door was closed, one of the women whispered, "The shareholders want to fire Director Bai from his position."

As her words fell, the employees gasped in shock.

Unable to hold back his curiosity, one of them said, "The Bai Group is owned by the Bai family. After the Second Young Lady left, Director Bai became the largest shareholder. How could the others vote him out?"

Hearing this, another employee asked, "Brother, don’t tell me you didn’t watch the news?"

Shaking his head, the man replied, "I rarely watch the news or check social media."

"No wonder. You are behind, Brother," said another man. "Last night, the Second Young Lady became the new chairwoman of the Bai Group. With her as the largest shareholder, the others will quickly take sides."

"But they are family. How could she do this to her own father?" asked a newly recruited employee.

Patting his shoulder, one of the women said, "In wealthy families, there is always internal fighting and vested interests. You’re too young to understand."

Just when her words fell, Bai Yansheng’s angry voice rang out from inside the meeting room.

"Don’t go too far!"

Startled, the employees looked at one another, then quickly pressed their ears to the door.

Inside, Bai Yansheng was furiously glaring at the shareholders. Closing his eyes, he took a deep breath to control his anger.

After a few moments, he opened his eyes and said, "This position was given to me by the late Chairman Bai. Only the new chairperson can remove me."

Hearing this, the shareholders’ expressions darkened.

Sitting to Bai Yansheng’s right, an elderly man in his sixties said, "Yansheng, you should quit while you are ahead. Now that Hanyun has taken over the company, you should retire and enjoy life. Why fight the younger generation?"

Knowing that, in the public’s eyes, Bai Hanyun was still considered his daughter, Bai Yansheng could only grit his teeth and force a stiff smile.

Seeing that they couldn’t force Bai Yansheng to resign, one of the shareholders stood up and said, "Since we can’t reach an agreement today, I will take my leave."

"Yinqi, Bai Yansheng refused to resign," he said calmly.

Sitting in his office, Jiang Yinqi asked, "What about the other shareholders’ response?"

Hu Chaoyang replied, "Most of them voted for Bai Yansheng’s retirement, while the rest are his people."

He paused for a moment, then added, "If we want to remove Bai Yansheng from his position as director, we need Miss Bai to attend the shareholders’ meeting and personally dismiss him."

Hearing this, Jiang Yinqi responded, "Alright. I will talk to Hanyun about it later."

Before ending the call, Hu Chaoyang said, "Yinqi, we need to clean up the company before I can take the position of CEO at Bai Group."

Far away in Shang Du City, Madam Hu stared at the trending list on her phone. When she saw her second son’s name on it, she was so shocked she couldn’t speak.

After a long moment of silence, she suddenly screamed, "Old Hu! Quick, come see this!"

Startled by her sudden cry, Master Hu rushed into the living room, still holding his garden shears.
