CHAPTER 202: ORIGIN WORLD

Ethan and Edian got down from the thunder eagle and it vanished.

Sunny started waving his head as soon as he saw Ethan and started shouting.

"Bro, come here."

Ethan went there and Edian followed him from behind.

Delilah and her aunt were also there.

Ethan greeted Martha and Delilah’s aunt Jessica. Sunny and Delilah greeted Edian.

Then they stood there side by side. The gate was about to open.

Edian said, "Ethan, hold my hand tightly. This is a space portal. So there is a possibility you might get separated."

All the elders held the children’s hands tightly.

Suddenly, the gate opened a bit with a creaking sound.

Blinding white light started coming from the opposite side and brightened the whole area.

The elders held the hands more tightly.

Ethan’s heart started beating faster. This door contained space elemental magic. He could vaguely see a diagram which started appearing in his mind.

Ethan got excited. What type of spell would this be? The diagram’s vague outline seemed even more complicated than that of the ’Last Ordeal’.

But before it could manifest fully, the door opened completely and everyone who was under that blinding light disappeared.

Ethan opened his eyes because he had to close them when he was inside that door, as the light was at least 100 times more intense than before.

He asked, "Ancestor, where are we?"

But no reply came and then it hit Ethan that no one was holding his hands anymore.

He became a little panicked and clearly looked at his surroundings.

Nope. There was not a single person present. He was alone standing there. There was a lake in front of him and a hill could be seen afar. There were also trees and grasses on the ground.

The environment was quite beautiful here, but little Ethan didn’t have that luxury now to admire the beauty of nature. He was lost and alone in a new world.

He didn’t know much about it as all the information about the origin world was blocked outside.

Ethan had asked about it to his ancestor, and he said that he would tell him all the details once they were inside. It was a taboo to tell the information outside of the origin world.

Ethan then sat down on the grassy ground and started meditation to calm his mind. His mother taught him this.

He started thinking about his situation, "I am now inside the origin world or at least what I think it is. If it is the origin world or not, I don’t know.

Then I don’t know anything about this world. Ancestor or the other elders are not with me here. And I have a gut feeling this world is very dangerous.

Oh great. What do I do now?"

He would not be hungry as there were tons of foods his mother packed in his space ring.

And this area looked great, but he thought he should get on the mountain to have a good look around. Who knows, the others were also probably teleported near him.

He was thinking of making fire so that the smoke could get the attention of others if they were here, but then he dismissed the idea.

It might lure other powerful beasts or unknown enemies.

He thought, "It would have been nice if I could fly. Then I would have been able to see the surroundings more easily."

But what was the benefit of regrets, until grand tier, no one could fly naturally.

But there were some exceptions such as wind elemental maguses. They could manipulate air to float in the air, but it was not a very fast thing to do.

Ethan then started walking toward the mountain so that he could get a good view around.

After 1 hour of fast paced walking, he finally reached the mountain area and looked upward. It was a very high mountain and the slope was not very good. He would have to climb it manually.

But he was a magus as well as a knight. Why would he do such hard work? He would use spells to get his job done.

A portal appeared in front of him and another portal appeared at the top of the mountain. This time the portal was bigger than normal so that he could enter through it.

He did it.

And he instantly appeared at the top. Why didn’t he do it when he was coming here running for 1 hour? Because he wanted to look around while coming here.

But there was no one there.

Soon Ethan stood at the top of the mountain and saw a huge tree infront of him.

It was at least 50 meters in diameter. There were 5 fruits hanging on the tree. They had five different colors: red, white, blue, brown, and green.

The moment he saw those 5 fruits, his gut feeling told him to eat them.

What he didn’t know was that by using his portal spell, he just bypassed 7 deadly traps which were situated at different places along the whole climbing path.

Even if someone used wind magic to fly, they would have to face those traps, but he just vanished from there and appeared here.

Ethan again used his portal to take down those 5 fruits.

The fruits were not very big, about the size of a strawberry.

Ethan washed them with water and gobbled up the five of them together.

This should not have been like this too. It was supposed to be like this: the winner who could pass through all the traps would choose one fruit and the other 4 would disappear instantly.

But no! Bro had to use his portal magic to get those 5 fruits at the same time.

He put his hand in the portal in front of him and 5 hands appeared out there to pick those 5 fruits at once.

Then he even ate all the 5 fruits together. Ethan did this because his gut feeling told him to do so.

Then a tremendous pain instantly hit his gut and then it passed through his whole body.

Ethan fell to the ground and started rolling around because the pain was too intense.
