CHAPTER 208: ETHAN CAME BACK

Sunny was crying. He didn’t want to lose his best friend.

"Grandma, please find Ethan. I won’t disturb him and eat his food anymore."

Martha felt helpless. This grandson of hers was the apple of her eyes. She just couldn’t say no to him.

Then a portal appeared in front of them and Ethan came out from there.

As soon as Sunny saw him, he jumped to hug him.

Poor Ethan had just come out and didn’t expect a meat mountain would fall on him.

He saw who the mountain was, but it was too late. Ethan shouted,

"Sunny, you bastard! Get off from me."

Ethan fell to the ground.

Sunny was crying,

"Bro, where have you been?"

Ethan then saw that Sunny was actually crying for him. He felt guilty for cursing him loudly.

So he said in a soft voice,

"Bro, first get off. I’ll tell you a very exciting story."

Sunny nodded, "Okay."

Ethan then stood up and started brushing the dirt off his clothes.

But then he saw an old man rushing toward him with a breakneck speed.

Ethan was ready this time and jumped to the side.

"Ancestor, not you too." He was speechless.

"My boy, where have you been these two days?" His voice had finally found relief. He had been constantly worried.

Martha and Delilah also came when they heard this.

They all had been searching within a 10 km range, so when Ethan came, they all received the news and rushed toward the place.

Ethan coughed a bit and said,

"Thank you all for worrying about me. You can take some rest. I’ll tell you everything."

Then they took out some chairs and a table and sat down there. They also put food on the table.

The foodie Sunny hadn’t eaten much in these two days either.

And I did. So I got my first beast there. Then I used my portal magic to come here. But I don’t know how I appeared that place in the first place."

Ethan hid the truth. It was too important to tell out loud.

Then Ethan summoned Wu Kong from his sea of consciousness.

Wu Kong appeared there. A 100-meter-tall ape with blood-red volcanic patterns on its body. It looked majestic.

Edian stood up instantly the moment Ethan summoned the ape.

Because all his contracted beasts were now frightened to their extreme. They were shaking inside his sea of consciousness.

It was the natural fear that arose from the bottom of one’s heart when they saw their predator or were in the presence of a higher existential being.

Wu Kong was a transcended-tier beast. Though his power was now suppressed, that didn’t make his majesty or life value fade away.

The beasts of Edian were merely Epic ranked. One was even Legendary ranked.

So of course, they would be afraid of the big guy.

"Ethan, how did you... I mean how can you contract a beast of this level?"

Edian could tell the power signature of this ape was just at the Arch beast level, but it was far from the truth. He could feel it.

Even if it were only an Arch beast, Ethan shouldn’t have been able to contract this thing. His body wouldn’t be able to take the feedback and would have burst apart.

But Ethan was perfectly fine.

Ethan was just about to explain when Martha finally spoke.

"You are also a beast master?"

Ethan said in an apologetic tone,

"Yes, instructor Martha. Sorry I hid it from everyone."

Martha said hurriedly,

"Why don’t you call me grandma like Sunny does? You are his best friend after all."

Ethan instantly became speechless.

All the old foxes were shameless. He was not naive anymore. He could tell Martha wanted to curry favor with him.

Delilah’s aunt was also looking at the ape with astonishment.

Sunny had just finished his last bite of food and looked at the ape finally.

"Bro, your beast is massive and so awesome. What is its name?"

Ethan said with a smile, "His name is Wu Kong."

Ethan was a little afraid that Sunny would blame him for hiding such a secret from him, but with Sunny’s behavior, it seemed he didn’t even think about that.

Ethan then looked at Martha and said politely,

"Okay grandma. I didn’t tell others about it because the world outside was not very safe for people like us who only belong to a low-level empire. You can understand this, right?"

Edian didn’t interrupt the conversation. He now knew who Sunny and Martha were. They were from the family of the dean of Supreme Magus Academy.

They were on a whole other level than his Lukedonia empire. So it was good that Ethan was building a good relation with them. It would help their empire tremendously.

Delilah chimed in from beside,

"Ethan, can we ride on your beast? Pretty please?"

She was looking at him with puppy eyes.

Ethan asked, "Does my beast look like a ride to you? Okay, if you treat me and Sunny to a good meal, I can give you a little ride."

Delilah started jumping up and down,

"Deal, deal."

Sunny then said, "Bro, I also want to ride. I will give you food my mom cooked."

Ethan looked at him with disdain and said, "I want you to exercise daily 1 hour. If you agree to this, I’ll give you a ride."

Sunny looked depressed and still agreed unwillingly, "Okay."

Ethan nodded, "Good boy."

Then Ethan ordered Wu Kong to take Delilah and Sunny to his shoulder.

Wu Kong bent down a little bit and extended his right hand in front of them. Sunny and Delilah walked onto it.

Then he lifted them up and put them on his shoulder.

It looked so beautiful from above.

Delilah shouted, "You all should come up here. This place really looks beautiful from here."

Ethan then looked at Edian and asked,

"What should we do next?"

Edian said, "We haven’t started collecting resources yet. We should start. Others are already ahead of us."

Ethan had lived in this origin land in that dream for 400 years. So he knew some places where rich resources were kept.

"Ancestor, follow me. My ape said he knows some places where we might be able to find resources."

Then Ethan created a big portal in front of them and one portal on the shoulder of Wu Kong.

Delilah’s aunt was muttering, "I should talk to brother. This boy is way too much of a genius to let him go from our hands. We should bring a marriage proposal to his parents."

Soon everyone hopped on Wu Kong and Ethan ordered him to go to those places where the important resources were present.

After 15 days of searching, they gathered more resources than anyone else.
