CHAPTER 532: CHAPTER 331: OSAKA BATTLEFIELD, GOTHIC GIRL’S SOLO ACT
At the same time that the other ten members of Rainbow Wings launched an assault on the deserted island, at Osaka port in Japan.
"Gothic Puppet" Esther and "Shadow Scout" Ke Qingzheng were ordered by the commander to remain at Osaka port.
At that moment, they suddenly heard a thunderous explosion and simultaneously looked toward the distance.
In the darkness of night, a cabin of the Tenpo Mountain Ferris wheel abruptly exploded, and immediately after, a five-meter-tall mutant Light-Eating Bee tore open the door, squeezing out its body.
It absorbed the moonlight, raising its ferocious head to roar at the night sky.
Esther raised her red eyes, never observing the giant Light-Eating Bee, instead fixating motionlessly on another corner of the Ferris wheel.
On top of a cabin was a half-human, half-bee creature with short sea-blue hair and a sea-blue dress, lazily sitting there with a tilted body.
The Ferris wheel cabin slowly ascended, her long legs swaying in the night wind, looking playfully toward the port, a childlike smile on her face.
As if mocking them or like a child inviting others to play.
"Little thing... is that what you call a Bee Prince?" Esther asked calmly, holding a small bunny puppet.
"That’s right, she is Cameron, the third Bee Lord of the Light-Eating Bee," Ke Qingzheng nodded.
He also knew that Esther, with her personality, would never look at the information of the Four Great Bee Lords.
"So, what’s her ability?" Esther continued to ask.
"Her ability is to create mutant Light-Eating Bees using human corpses," Ke Qingzheng explained. "According to Garfield, she’s the weakest of the Four Great Bee Lords, but her ability is well-suited for causing chaos in a city—if given enough human corpses, she could even create an army."
Esther yawned.
She smacked her lips, lethargically saying, "Little thing, you take care of the mutant Light-Eating Bees on that cruise ship and Ferris wheel. Leave this Bee Lord to me."
"The cruise ship?"
Ke Qingzheng asked, turning his head to look at the cruise ship coming from the sea.
The scene in front of his eyes was bewildering. Tourists on the deck were toasting and dancing as if they had lost all reasoning, embracing and fiercely tearing at each other’s lips and bodies.
As if it was a celebration before the end of the world.
The next moment, all passengers on the cruise ship knelt on the ground, their clothes splitting open from the chest, revealing hearts with pulsating sea-blue veins. Immediately after, their bodies began to mutate right on schedule.
In mere seconds, giant mutant Light-Eating Bees were born. They gnashed their teeth, their sharp, slender stingers splitting open to reveal a carnivorous flower-like mouth.
The cruise ship collapsed.
The giant bees unfolded their transparent wings, flying toward the port in a deafening buzzing.
"The third Bee Lord might turn invisible, can you keep up with her?" Ke Qingzheng withdrew his gaze, asking with a straight face.
"Are you talking to me, kid?" Esther said. "Since she entered my line of sight, I’ve already placed a ’puppet line’ on her head to track her. She can’t escape no matter where she goes."
She looked up at the night sky, where a faint thread had already appeared above Cameron’s head, with the end of the thread unknown somewhere in the night sky.
Except for Esther, no one else, including Cameron, could see this puppet line.
At this moment, Esther closed her eyes, and when she opened them again, her once-red pupils became completely vacant.
The Gothic skirt girl seemed like a puppet on a theater stage, with empty eyes and expression, strands of thread falling from above, manipulating every part of her body, her joints stiffly bent upwards.
Finally, a transparent thread descended from somewhere unknown in the night sky, connecting to Esther’s head.
Then she lifted her head, her mouth curling into an emotionless arc.
Ke Qingzheng knew this was Esther’s trump card—the "Puppet State."
Once in "Puppet Mode," Esther’s body was no longer under her control, but manipulated by the puppet line above her head, automatically taking the most accurate actions in the given environment.
To put it simply, it was like activating "AI takeover" mode.
"It’s rare to see you so motivated. I’ll leave the third Bee Lord to you, and I will handle the small fry."
Ke Qingzheng adjusted the glasses on his nose, then suddenly turned sideways, raising his right hand in a handgun gesture.
In the next moment, he aimed his fingertips at the mutant Light-Eating Bee causing trouble on the Tenpo Mountain Ferris wheel and slightly curled his index finger, pulling the invisible trigger.
Instantly, a highly refined air bullet shot out from his fingertip!
"Bang—!"
Delayed by a full second, the whistling of the air followed, only belatedly reaching their ears.
The invisible air bullet twisted, cutting through the air with sharp currents, traveling a thousand meters in an instant. Then, it hit the five-meter mutant Light-Eating Bee’s body with pinpoint accuracy.
With a "whoosh," a three-meter-radius hole burst open in its chest!
Blood gushed out, pouring forth. It wailed and fell, plummeting to the ground of the amusement park.
Sitting atop the cabin, Cameron witnessed this scene and raised an eyebrow.
She seemed surprised that the short-haired, bespectacled man managed to take out her toy from a thousand meters away, and even hit a fatal spot without any error.
